Please show me where, because I saw nothing. He's literally smilling at the end.

Best thing about this episode was the ending song. No direction/SB can make this good... like, in the slightest.

For real, as the episode went on, and things just starting to get worse and worse I was getting scared of what was going to happen in the end of the episode.

Aluminum is completely unsuitable for a rocket cone or anything else requiring high temperatures, and that includes all its alloys - the melting point of which tops at ~700 C, not... 2,000 - 3,000 C (?!) as was claimed.

Thank you for clearing this up! I was really confused when they said that, because I was pretty sure Aluminum didn't have that melting point...
And the funny thing, after saying that, they just melt the aluminium with a wood fire, in a random fireplace?

I think the idea is that people like the Boyles percive reality differently and are aware of things that others are not.

It's not even perceiving reality differently, is literally living in their own fictional world. They are delusional at this point.

That slight pause arthur gave when picking up the sword, i thought he was going to say its not excalibur at all or something for a sec, lol.

Me too. At that point, I was just expecting anything from the episode.

Rewatch the ending of the episode then. When he reads the letter from his parents again at the end.

I suppose you're mentioning the scene by the 19 minutes mark, and to me, he just had the same expression he had previously in other scenes in the episode, where he wasn't sad or anything, like when he received the "excalibur", so I can't agree with you there. The narrator even says that it was the face of someone who didn’t understand that his parents had abandoned him a second time.

But it's always open to debate, it depends on one's perspectives on the show.

You don’t have to agree it doesn’t affect me. I know what I saw that’s all that matters lol.

When this series focuses on the lore it’s actually good, we all know that, except bringing Arthur to his usual self, who never lost that usual self to begin with, isn’t actually a discovery about the facts of their world we were willing to know. Seriously, this feels so out of place. And you know, that twist with Arthur’s parents appearing out of absolutely nowhere.. like in every literal sense, made this even more goofy or more like stupid.

I never liked the humour in this series, and an episode like this just proves my point. Don’t even want to get started on how Arthur’s parents, just like him, make very little sense every time they open their mouths. I mean hey, they left Arthur up on the surface only to go down in the nether and make three more kids… lmaoooooo. Excalibur or whatever is needed for Arthur to do the stuff he’ll do later, but yeah, still, they could’ve easily adapted this part as a mini segment in the last episode itself. Sheesh, the pacing is really just.. whatever.

I think the point of that was to emphasize that his parents didn't really want him at all; them saying the Nether was too dangerous to take Arthur along was clearly a shoddy excuse, since they had more kids while down there. They actually just wanted to abandon him. Even when they went up to the surface briefly, they only hung out with their other kids and didn't spend any time with Arthur. The narrator even spelled it out saying Arthur got abandoned again after they went back down. Humorous but cruel.

A whole episode focused on Arthur and his parents' delusions... yeah.

Also, aluminum resisting temperatures of 3.000° C? Yeah, right.
And in any case, then how did Vulcan manage to melt such a thing with only a wood fire?

What is Adollar?

If only Arthur's parents could have told us that when they explained the entire lore of this show, it would have been nice :}.
This was a nice episode before everything kicks up a notch and I could not be more excited.

Arthur's Excalibur orichalcum side quest continues, as he leads Vulcan, Lisa and Yu down to the Nether with his idiocy. All they need to do is to keep hs fuse running to make sure that he does not stray away from the path, as well as keep themselves informed that they have no time against stopping the Great Cataclysm. The plot has to go on...until Arthur meets his parents, thinking that Vulcan also orchesrated that part of the pretending plot as well. None did they expect that the Knight King would be just like his parents, though they've just stying at the Nether for years and abandoning their son, knowing full well of the plot of what the Holy Sol Temple and the Evanglist are cooking.

Then again, who would've thought that both of Arthur's parents came so close to the truth about the Great Cataclysm, that it can't be a case of too much coincidence. But even to have kids after abandoning their very own son, the fantasy of the Knight King just gets better with what they found at the Nether, like with the aluminium alloy of a space rocket's nosecone being more malleable and useful for Arthur's new Excalibur. And once again, while Arthur's parents are out on their own journey saving the world, he is pretty much of the same lol.

Shinra's training with Captain Shinmon...will have to wait a bit, as he links up his conscience in Adolla seeing Sho in quite the while.
The reunion between brothers stlll has a ways to go...

Arthur really does live in his own world, and nothing will break him out of it.

I had a feeling we would see at least one of Arthur’s family members given the preview for this episode, but they are just as strange as Arthur. First of all, Arthur’s dad was able to understand everything about the world by simply USING HIS IMAGINATION?! He knows about spontaneous combustion, doppelgangers, and so on. WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH THE BOYLE FAMILY?! I get that they didn’t want to take Arthur into the Nether at the time since he was a child, BUT THEY THEN HAD THREE KIDS INSIDE THE NETHER, MAKING THAT A MOOT POINT. Not only that, but once they get back to the surface, they abandon Arthur yet again.

Luckily Arthur is too dull and dumb for any of this to affect him.

On the other side of things, it seems that Shinra has made a connection with Sho, so Benimaru definitely helped out there.

What’s about to happen next?

Arthur's parents knowing the truth about everything is wild. Since they've been hiding away in the Nether, it's easy to see how they've kept this information secret.

Arthur might be in an extreme state of delusion, but at least he's happy. I'm just going to take a page out of Yu's book and accept this mortifying quest as a win.

I don't know how they can allow Arthur to go there just like that.
And they're all going together...
I was suspicious for a while, thinking the parents would attack.
(Good thing they didn't)
I'd say Arthur's father's ability to prophesy is interesting... But it's a broken family.
At least the knight is happy in his own way. Lol
Weird but entertaining episode.
