@KingBaller06 She’s already shady as it is, given that she works as a villain and creates more of them. So I wouldn’t be surprised if she does weird stuff. But even if the show gives off dark vibes, it’s unlikely she’d let some stranger sleep with her just like that. I’m guessing she just turns them into villains using the drug.

@Vindicater That's bound to happen sooner or later, and we’ll see that salaryman wreak havoc in the next episode or one down the line—just like that fanboy from the last episode.

Is it me or does the unknown voice that Queen Bee was on the phone with sound like All for One???

Correct me if I’m wrong but what if All for One is the mastermind behind Trigger and he’s just experimenting with the drug to find new quirks to take.
No matter, I’ll find out soon enough.

Seeing Ingenium in action was nice to see. Still sad what happened to him in the main series, he was such a nice guy. He gave Koichi advice on how to control his speed and even offered him a job! Most people would have jumped at the opportunity, but Kouichi has already found his calling. If this was before he met Knuckldeduster he might’ve accepted.

Little Lida running into the tree while practicing his acceleration was hilarious.

Kouichi just casually made a friend with a popular hero lol.
And he taught Kouichi a lil bit about his quirk.
I wonder how Kouichi's quirk improved version will be like.

Wow. Pop Step looks cute without the eye makeup.

All for One cameo with the bee girl. Of course he's the one behind all this insanity.

Seeing Knuckleduster beat strong villains and cracking a smile puts a smile on my face.

Koichi met Tenya's brother Ingenium! That was so cool. Not only did he teach him a new technique but also he gave Koichi his business card! Dude was almost set for life. But then he ruined that dream and took it away... Bruh. That sucks so much.

This was my favorite episode of the series so far. It just keeps getting better and better.

Really good episode, first half was what i expected this episode to be but the second half with Ingenium was great and make the events of BNHA even more relatable, also it's cool seeing Koichi find new ways to use his quirk episode by episode, for such a silly power it sure has potential.

Also gotta say if Deku had Knuckleduster as a model instead of All Might he might have been a beast even quirkless

@StallionXD Deku showed heroism without having a quirk in the first place plus he immediately got the attention of All Might, so Koichi is beat in terms of hero qualities.
@KingBaller06 Except Koichi has always showed heroism, bro literally was going out at night to help random civilians in the streets just because is was what he wanted to do. He has a mid quirk that until recently he really didn't even like that much, and he hasn't gotten All Might attention because he has never met him, in that we could say that Deku was just lucky that the one moment he decided to do something All Might was there to see it. Also, Tensei saw real potential in Koichi, All Might just picked Deku because "omg u just like me fr".

@XArceusX I'd rather that than her actually engaging in sexual activities. She's still evil, but ideally she's not harming herself in an irreversible way.

@StallionXD No. All Might picked Deku because he heard his story and saw that despite the fact he doesn't have a quirk, he ran in when the other heroes were cowering and everybody else was crying out for All Might. Deku is the reason that All Might pushed past his limits and took care of the sludge villain. Without Deku, Kacchan dies in that episode because All Might would just be standing in the crowd.

At the end of the day, what defines a hero according to All Might, the Number 1 Hero, is when one's body moves before they can think.

Koichi is a 19 year old who has a quirk and has found a way to use it to help others without fighting. Deku was a quirkless 15 YEAR OLD BOY and hoping that one day he would be a late bloomer.

So no, Koichi isn't a greater hero than Deku in terms of pure heroism.

@KingBaller06 Koichi has a quirk, Deku is extremely lucky.
Are you mad because Koichi in 4 episodes is already a better, more likable and charming protagonist than Deku ever was?
Koichi is also a big fan of All Migh since his childhood, but had to leave behind his dreams of becoming a hero (not gonna spoil). Now a "normal" hero sees him, acknowledged him, and even becomes his "jogging buddy" (friend), but since he is not All Might, the #1 hero, you say Koichi is worst than Deku, lmao.
Deku showed heroism that 1 time (shame, Bakugo should have died honestly), Koichi does it every day, every night.
"Oh, but Koichi has a quirk" yeah, one that is only really good for escaping lol
"Oh, but Koichi has a team" yeah, a mind-broken dude and a high schooler that is also only good for escaping lol
Not gonna change my mind, Koichi is better than Deku, dude is literally an "illegal vigilante", Deku is just All Might's sugar baby.

@StallionXD Deku is a far better hero just in terms of his personality.

Things like fear don't hold him back nor has he ever hesitated despite the circumstances.

There's no BS you can spew to convince me otherwise. Koichi is nowhere close to being on Deku's level in terms of heroism. In fact, Shoto is better.

I'm really liking this anime. The main characters great and I love the early Spider-Man vibe of Kouichi, where he starts as just a small hero dealing with local problems, with will later evolve in a bigger thread and will probably receive help from the super heros, like Ingenium.

EDIT: Bones is also setting the bar really high for the visual style of the final season, Vigilante is beautiful and as a great art direction.

@AnimeNerd99 I mean it makes sense that AFO is in here. At this point he's in the shadows trying to become the Symbol of Evil, and what better way than to allow villains to run amuck.
@KingBaller06
Its more like there's no reason for it other than just making him responsible for every every bad thing that's ever happened in this series, which the main series already went completely overboard with.

Favorite episode so far. Knuckleduster was badass once again, Tensei's introduction was really cool and though repetitive, the reveal of AFO being involved in all this did put a smile on my face.

Great to finally see Iida's brother in action. He's so much cooler than Iida. It was nice of him to give Koichi some tips with his quirk. One of the cooler parts of MHA was watching people refine their quirks to become stronger, more efficient, and other things that amplify that quirk.

Clearly, Kuin Hachisuka's role as a villain, aided by the one and only All For One (if you recognize his VA from the main series well enough) attempting to shake up human society through the use of Ideo Trigger, this is where it all started, and not even the vigilantes are worth their weight on the Gigantomachia-esque villain...all except Knucklebuster who deals with the transfigured villain with all his might. That is probably the very first time he tasted victory against someone bigger than him, and that will be the role of the vigilante, as well as hachisuka for the long-term.

Turbo Pro Hero Ingenium on the run to chase a villain on the loose, though he failed and let the villain run away, he instead would not let Koichi run away. And it would not be a surprise to learn that Tenya ilda's older brother Tensei is the original Ingenium, and Koichi getting tips and tricks on how to control his Quirk better, even more on the potential of working for his agency of Team Idaten, that would be a big goal. The reattempt to capture the villain this time, however, goes to the vigilantes instead, though Koichi finally got his name recognition from Tensei...and yet, being embarrassed when confronted for thanks for his effort.

Koichi's got a lot to work on his self-confidence, that's at least much that...

The real terrorists of society, skirt flippers πŸ˜” super ez to handle tho

Getting a little poke into the part time villain life of bee girl πŸ‘€ at least she likes strawberries I guess

Starting off with Purple Hulk is pretty chill. Knuckle dances around those punches pretty cleanly. And that face shot of his, nailed em right where he needed to.

What a nickname, Honey-chan. Don't know what to make of the big dude with the girl and a bookbag but XD all these guys that get turned to temporary villains tend to not be All For One level threats.

W for the Ingenium special lesson. Basically advice and an ad wrapped up in one.

Koichi has a point about how he’s not built to be a boxer, but in general he does need to find a way to fight. Otherwise he’s gonna just be Knuckleduster’s backup for the rest of their days (which isn’t bad, but if Knuckleduster is ever out of commission, what will Koichi do)?

So it seems that Kuin Hachisuka is working with All For One to shake up hero society from the shadows, and it seems she is also going on a date with an older gentleman and her codename is “Honey”. BRO IS SHE A PROSTITUTE?! PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS RELATED TO IDEO TRIGGER.

Knuckleduster has combat smarts to make up for not having a quirk, given how he was able to capitalize on the superpowered individual by hitting his weak point, his jaw after he tried to finish him off. For a quirkless dude, he puts in that work (which explains why Aizawa had trouble with him).
I can’t believe the Turbo Hero: Ingenium really allowed himself to get outrunned by some rando who turns into a bat, which is why it’s a good thing that Knuckleduster, Pop Step, and The Crawler were there to save the day, which is quite the contrast from Episode 2 where Aizawa had to save the group by erasing the businessman’s quirk.

I’m glad that Koichi met Tensei, because he gave Koichi the idea of reversing his acceleration rather than trying to slow down given how he’s able to change directions so easily. We also got to see a younger Iida, who looks to be about 8 if I had to guess. Hopefully we can get an official number so we know for sure when this series takes place in relation to the main series.

It would have been cool if Koichi ended up working for Team Idaten, but I think Tensei has a point. Koichi has already found where he belongs, so he should stick to it.

I really hope the Vigilante characters will show up in some way in the final season, but we’ll have to wait and see!
@KingBaller06 It's not really prostitution in her case, since I don't think there's sex involved, much like with club hostesses when they do extra service for customers. In her case, it's enjo kosai, a very creepy practice that generally stops at just having the guy be a sugar daddy of sorts, though inappropriate conduct with minors in Japan is mixed as to how serious it's taken from what I hear

@holdingnothing If I'm understanding it's basically a nonphysical date in which Kuin in this case would give him a good time without anything sexual going on?

If so, I guess that's how she funds her Trigger operations.

@KingBaller06 There, I gave u a week, now episode 5 is out, did you watch it? Koichi has ALWAYS been better than Deku, he sacrified his future for some random child, why? Because he "felt like doing so".
Deku saved Bakugo because he was "his close friend", because there was a multitude watching, because there were heroes watching, because there was a villain.
Koichi didn't need any motivation, he just did it because it was the right thing to do, there were like 3 randos watching, no heroes, no villians, only a poor child in an accident, and yet he threw his future away just to be a TRUE hero.
Thinking that Deku is a better hero is honestly laughable.
