I really hope that pink haired sorceress dies. I'm new to the story but I just want adonis to wipe out humanity. Besides that, the start of the season looks promising.

Would be a lot better if this was animated and not just slides from your very first powerpoint

Adonis finally wakes up with his hatred of humans and love for chloe still fresh as ever.

Goes on a rampage of killing guards, civillians be it men, women, children. Bro is literally unhinged but still in conflict with his memories with chloe and as to why is he not feeling satisfied doing all this and even knowing chloe wouldnt like him going down this path.

We get 3 new character introduction of military officers, 2 of which are siblings yamato and yuki, the third is the irredeemable psychotic eekhout who i would love to get seeing destroyed mercilessly.

The king idk is a weird one shows that he knows what hes done even asks god if this is his punishment still doesnt want any redemption or has no regret cause he did all this for "evoloution and progress". Aint buying it chief. Also the red haired lady is his wife/queen apparently she seems all wholesome and supporting weirdly smiling through all this, shes the biggest sus character for me out of all this.

Also i am surprised the magic suprression device was just put aside since it was one of the biggest achievements of humans giving them advantages over witches but i guess power ego and overconfidence does that to you

Finally we get to know witches are apparently not all extinct some actually survived the hunt, Doroka being one whos mission was to actually infiltrate and help adonis escape, as i thought in the first episode she does have resemblance to chloe character wise and would be his salvation, but not anymore i guess? unless she survived somehow since shes a witch after all the magic is still active in the city with the suprression device out of commission. I do hope so cause if she dies theres literally nothing to stop adonis going down eren yaeger path.

Damn, Adonis caused a lot of mayhem and bloodshet of innocent people. I do understand his actions some, he basically sees people that didn't interfere with the emperor's bullshit as being as accountable as those who were actively involved.

feel like Doroka might be still alive even though she got a major hole in her. I say that since why else would they go through the effort to chop up Chloe's body before? It must be witches have some degree of regenerative ability. This would make sense considering Doroka was saying they could bring Chloe back so they have control over life and death. If she is outright dead I guess that means Adonis will have to find the other witches.

right!? like I don't even know your full power set, but I suggest going a bit faster that a quarter of a city block at a time. maybe get the robot to throw a huge rock up then use your enlarging spell over and over and over? something more then unarmed mech. you're doing this at the same speed as king Kong and the didn't plan his attack at all.

This is...actually abysmal, what can I even say? At the very least it was quite an unfortunate time to release an anime that explicitly condones mass murder and ethnic cleansing. And this show's script feels AI generated. There's no justification for a single thing that happens onscreen. It doesn't even have the benefit of competent animation or directing, this is an insanely lazy and cheap adaptation that I have to imagine does the source material no favors. I feel like it's trying to emulate the trashy ultraviolent OVAs of the 1980s, but a lot of those at least had the benefit of being experimental projects that put style over substance and had industry pros working on them.

Dog poop adaptation, 2/10. I was so hyped for this show because the Manga was really amazing. It was just begging for an anime adaptation, with fight scenes that rival the best out there. The Mangaka seriously knows how to make epic and stunning fight scenes. The best has definitely yet to come in terms of fights for this anime (obviously), but this 2nd episode has destroyed my hope for this being a good show.

This animation isn't even just *okay* for an action show, it's terrible. I mean, freeze frames? Really? half the mf episode's action scenes were just freeze frames. It was less of an anime episode and more like an action sequence you'd see in a visual novel. If you're okay with that, though, just quit watching the show and read the Manga. The Manga had way more detail, a much better sense of speed and movement (ironically), and was more gritty.

If Demon Slayer was animated like this, it wouldn't have been given any time of day and absolutely nobody would care about it. If Kingdoms Of Ruin got the same treatment as Demon Slayer in the animation department, this would've easily been the best anime this season. Unfortunately the studio is trash and doesn't care about this show at all.

I got shocked with that ending, but I think the pink-haired witch will survive, she seems to be an important piece for the plot.

By the way, can’t Adonis just do what Chloe told him? Have a life? He’s mad at people that are not related to what happened, people that just have a popular thought because that is what the government tells them that is true, magic is just a hindrance.

Wow, haven't seen animation this poor in a while. What was the budget? 200 drawings for entire episode? And such poor character design. Long sleeves, long ears, long fingers, weird feet. Just wow. Funniest thing ever is character saying they are not sure if 10 year old device will work, while person being stuck in vertical prison for 10 years moves like a ninja. Logic-stretch much? Not to mention his 10 years imprisoned was supposedly a simulation on how to destroy a nation best way... and that way is to ride a giant golem? While the very first magic was firing a gun and making a bullet huge. How about firing a rocket and making it size of a planet?

How about not riding a giant and instead controlling it from shadows?

Does it make him the villain for killing innocents including children? Or is the empire the villain for the genocide of the witches? I’m not sure who I’m supposed to side with here, but I’m loving the brutality of the show and a protagonist showing no mercy.
