No. If as a fan you can't behave decently and not expect directors or animators to do things the way you "imagined" them while reading the manga, you don't deserve the manga or the adaptation. Criticism is fine. Harassing people online and sending death threats is NOT. It's not like these workers owe you anything. This is really appalling. |

| Given the amount of harrassment cases I've heard regarding decisions made for anime over the past couple years to directors, voice actors/actresses, animators, scriptwriters and other staff members, people who harass and insult them don't deserve nice things like having their work done in the first place. It's always such an embarrassing clown show to observe from the outside. |

| "His direction is dogshit" I mean Ep 1 who was directed and storyboarded by Nakayama himself was the best one directed and was indeed very "cinematic", especially the running/escaping scene from the zombie or even the Denji Makima meeting... Now it's possible too not like it ofc but to call it dogshit when he succeeds in what he is trying to do it's just brainded... Even if some scene are not as "goofy" as the manga, I think that for exemple moment like when Denji is about to transform in the air and he remembers a memory with pochita that links him to Power or the flashback of Power and the cat, or even the moment when Bat devil is looking at the city and the crowd searching for is prey (way better and immersive than in the manga),or Makima who doesn't answer to Aki right away are all but badly directed and are very well done. And personally I prefer these moments to be well directed rather than having "oh lol Denji do the exact same grimace as in the manga panel lol". Especially that the expressions of the characters are always great just not exact same thing as the manga. |
