| Natsuki Subaru (Re:Zero) and Emiya Shirou (Fate/SN UBW only) are the two most stupid, annoying, and cringe anime protagonists ever. Because of them, I never liked their series. Although Fate/SN UBW is somewhat an exception because best girl Rin is the focus there. |

| I would say Re:Zero's Subaru from how unbelievably annoying and stupid his decision making and social skills are even after his "redemption", but there exists an even worse protagonist. The Fresh Prince of Cucks and Simps - Kazuya from Rent a Girlfriend. He's a guilt tripping, gaslighting manchild who has seemingly no control over his desires and fantasies. The only other character I despise more is Index to To Aru Majutsu but she's not a protagonist, nor a character. Just an unfunny trope. |
