Aldo did not awaken his full power and the other members of FT defeated the seed dragons that also caused Aldo to end up being weakened. There is no nakama power in the face of a final boss so far. Nor is it an impulse of feelings.

Even FT's main series was like this, I wish every arc was like Tartaros arc. That arc was amazing. Mard Geer was fucking cool, Kyoka was ruthless. Fights were amazing and long winded. But instead most of the fights were just like Natsu 1shotting Acnologia. Stronger enemy? Gaaaaaah I got defeated on first round. Now I'm revved up! Insert OP powerup or stronger attack, 1shot, the end of the fight.

while unfortunately it was the opposite in Alvarez

Because Alvarez wasn´t planned Mashima had no idea what to do with the Spriggans & he rushed the series and it was not logical arc after Gajeel´s fakeout

He rushed the main series to move on to his new work

But he said 100 Years Quest has Story planning in ANN interview it won´t end up messy as back in final arc of the main series

I don't know how long FT will continue but at least Mashima should spare the space expansion, like alien dragons invaded to earth etc..
