| Toothbrush scene is great, no argument there. Obviously Reviewers also has great and creative ecchi, definitely up there among my favorite executions of the genre. Another ecchi show I really liked was Shimoneta .It was legit funny unlike 99% of ecchi tropes and it also fit the censorship theme, the whole anime is just a perfect fit for ecchi and without it it would have been, idk, nothing much. It's one of the more perfect symbiosis of form and content among ecchi shows. Another one I found interesting is HenSemi, because it's not the embarassed, incidental kind of ecchi that I hate, but fully embraces the topic by focusing on a group of college students exploring fetishes in a seminar. It's awkward, curious and fun and you don't see ecchi that thematically embraces sexuality like this show does very often. Usually it's all about accidents, voyeuristic camera angles and the likes, instead of just shows being ecchi because they focus on a topic that is inherently ecchi, like fetishes. I prefer it when the ecchi extends beyond the situational, accidental or voyeuristic and instead encapsulates the entire anime and what it is about, which you can easily see based on my examples. Reviewers, Shimoneta and HenSemi are all ecchi not just on a visual level, but deal with some form of ecchi on a thematical level, without ever coming close to becoming too cerebral and losing touch with the core appeal of fanservice. That's just what I like, it makes the fanservice feel natural instead of forced and in the process manages to escape the shitty tropes that I hate so much about your typical ecchi/harem. Keijo is another example of a show from that category btw. |

| I just finished watching episode 29 of Victory Gundam, and boy was it bizarre! A grown woman tries to force a 13 year old boy into the bath with her. They fight and he grabs her boobs, but he breaks free and escapes. Next up is a chase scene in which they're both naked. The woman calls for guards, but the boy gets in a spaceship with his dog and flies away. While naked. | I haven't seen a lot of anime with a ton of non-generic fanservice, but an anime I recently watched, namely How Not to Summon a Demon Lord, had a scene where the protag reaches into a girl's vagina to inject his magical power and resurrect a true demon lord that's sealed inside her. |
