Probably all great manga that weren't fully adapted.

Kekkaishi and Nurarihyon no Mago. They did my boys dirt.

Baccano and The Devil is A Part Timer. I really enjoyed the cast and themes of both characters and wished they got a S2. (Doesn't mean they "deserve" it). NGNL, I didn't really enjoy, but I think should've gotten a S2.

I guess I am alone in wanting long-running series to be cut down instead.

Maybe we'll get more varied and higher-quality products (both narratively and visually) if writers get to the dang point already and keep their work concise. Can you really say in good conscience that, say, One Piece, Naruto, or One Punch Man need to be as long as they are? Have a core message, create the setting and then the characters to reflect that theme, and tell your entertaining story without dragging on endlessly to the point that the themes are taking the back seat. Then move on to the next work with a different theme. It's not rocket science.

Oh well. Most films, TV, novels, and manga are made to be entertainment first, I guess, so whatever.

there are plenty of good anime out now, like BNA, Promare, Inferno Cop.
Isn't it just personal hate/frustration towards long running shows. Having sequels of your loved anime is just nice

All from Trigger, too...

I unfortunately didn't find BNA all that interesting and I dropped it after one episode. Promare is just a blatant retread of past works with very little new material to offer outside of some stylistic choices (that I totally get behind! I love the look of that film!), so that's not something I want to support. Inferno Cop I actually never tried. I did try the very similar Ninja Slayer, though, and didn't find very entertaining. Hopefully Inferno Cop will be more interesting to me, but I'll keep my expectations low.

Yeah trigger makes good anime. Then try SSSS.Gridman, totally deserves a season 2.
To bad you dropped BNA, cus after episodes 6 the show takes a good twist. Promare is indeed trigger boy fanservice, but still better than some anime out now. Ninja Slayer is supposed to be super dry humor. A second season would ruin that crisp feeling, but i would like to see it

edit: after analyzing your watched list, im disappointed to see you dropped all the good shows Gainax and Trigger made. Makes me wonder what your taste really is

Charlotte's ending doesn't really let itself get a sequel. After the finale i doubt a "good" sequel will come out from it

Well seeing alot of TRIGGER shows on here, is kinda of to be expected. I guess the thing with TRIGGER shows in them being anime original is that they're produced and written in a one-shot or one-hit kind of sense, and they can never really tell if it's going to hit or not so they probably don't plan for a sequel. Also, seeing alot of NGNL here but no mention of Mondaiji makes me kinda sad. Similar premises but I guess one gets more notoriety than the other.

for no game no life.. theres so many things that could happen in the season 2 !!

no game no life is such a cliff hanger, they could make 3/4 more seasons with the content they set up with

aho girl anime ended like the manga, there is no material to animate from, so i don't think a second season will happen. Good laughs tho

Allow me to shill this show that no one liked because it came out alongside such classics as KonoSuba and Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu.

You're right.I don't know why it doesn't have a S2 but it was beautiful till the end.

On my opinion

• Hataraku maou-sama
-This one hilarious. Definitely deserve s2. The manga have more thanenough material to make another season. Need to see more emixmaou

• No game no life
-s1 ended up with cliffhanger and it was soo good

• Nejerimaki seirei senki
-this one is had a lot similarities with ngnl and the ending shows that there a lot more upcoming

• Classroom of elite
- can't miss this one of we're talking bout s2. Definitely deserve it. The twist in the end was amazing. But since it doesn't follow the LN the chance is close to none. Well I hope they make a reboot since it such a waste to not adapt this

• ryuugajou nanana
- mc was great(have similarities to ayanokouji) and the settings the one have a lot of possibility and potential. The character was good and the psychological aspect was easy to understand.

I'd like to see a second season for One Outs and Grand Blue too. There are still hopes for Grand Blue, a second season for One Outs is impossible to get, however.

I guess everyone agree that One Punch Man season too was so bad so it doesn't count here, i really want to real One Punch Man season 2 gets what it deserve :)

Also other anime such as Akame Ga Kill, No Game No Life, Angel Beats, Bunny Girl Senpai and Yagate Kimi ni Naru deserve another season ;)

Akatsuki no Yona - I doubt this will get another season I started reading the manga after I finished watching the rewatching the show and it’s really good. I read somewhere a few years ago that it was just suppose to be an introduction to the manga and they didn’t plan on making another season? I’m pretty sure someone on MAL said it but the anime came out in 2015(?) and no one has heard anything so I don’t think that guess would be too far off.

Pandora Hearts - this won’t get a second season either since it’s from 2009, this is one of the first animes I ever watched and I found it pretty good, I always love Wonderland concepts though so I’m pretty biased towards it. I’ve heard it’s not that faithful to the manga though, so maybe a remake like Fruits Basket got.

I really wish a season 2 of nichijou would happen one day, I know there might be a chance of a brotherhood adaptation or something like this but after all these years and the kyoani fire I'm afraid that it might not be the same type of adaptation like the one we got in 2011

Also devil is a part timer needs a season 2 so bad, I swear, the anime would probably be remembered a lot more and be much more popular if they would keep producing seasons, and its not like they can't cause the light novel is long enough for a shit ton of content, the anime doesn't even scratch their surface.
I really hope some production company decides to fully adapt the novel and iat this point I don't even care if its the same studio as long as the animation is as good as the original anime

Also I might put made in abyss there cause I really hope for a season 2, but I know they're still adapting the manga, but its being done in the form of movies, and I hope that this last announcement they made for a sequel is gonna be a season 2 and not another movie. I dont care if they're gonna make a parallel movie franchise to the anime (probably being done for extra profit anyway), just give me the actual TV anime cause I don't wanna wait months for it to get subbed only for the hype to die and for everyone to forget about it, just give me a second season that I can watch as it airs in Japan

Right?? I still don't understand why they decided to cut it so late into development, but hopefully it was/is popular enough through streaming services that it gets the ending it deserves.
