TOUKO THINKS YUU DOESN'T REALLY CARE??? AND THAT CALMS HER???
Yuu really has a deep understanding of Touko but Touko doesn't seem to understand anything about Yuu.

I'm really sorry for Yuu and i hope this plays out in a way that feels satisfactory.

Another really good episode. The slow build-up to episode 9 got us all invested in these characters and now seeing the changes in Yuu feels very satisfying. Though this relationship is gonna get ugly before they make up.

Also that inner monologue during the phone conversation cut to the bone, man.

Big sis is team Touko. NICE.

It took me till now to really realize that Touko likes Yuu attention but knows what she does won't wow or impress her on a major level unlike everyone else which is funnily opposite to how Yuu is becoming basically addicted to the interactions. The evolution of it keeps me on my toes.

Also seeing how the accident with the sister happened was just random chance. Ouchie my heart. I couldn't imagine if that happened with me or my sister on either end. I'd probably carry a burden of trauma too.

1) Kano is amazing, lol! The way she got their characters on point!!
Already amazed me in the manga.

2) Damn, those zooms on Yuu's eyes when she's looking at Touko... gosh...
All i can think about is Touko's angry look when she catches Yuu, and that's too scary.

3) "I don't want you to hate me"... gurl, she's about to fall in love... actually already is...

4) Yuu's sister is me, lol.

5) Really like Yuu's childhood friend. Hope she appears again in the last episodes.

6) Gosh, that dream...

7) The teacher and her girlfriend (from the café) are so cute though!! I need more of them. They already have so few scenes in the manga!

so signifcant that encouter with Yuu's friend, Natsuki. He passes the day with her and, after hearing her moaning about camp and Touko all the time, he was spot on when he said: "never saw you caring so much about something"...
Yuu needs to realise what shes feeling is love. fast! I want another kiss! fast! and others stuff...

Love... hurts... so...

Nothing much happened this episode. Hopefully things will pick up once they go on that student council training camp.

P.S: Nanami's "I will become my sister at the end" really makes me anxious.

The script for the play was literally made for Touko, Sayaka as the gf, that is the only way she can be hers. An old friend and what a talk they had. Touko thinking Yuu doesn't care and actually she cares a lot, so cute that phone call. That dream, Touko's sister is almost exactly like her. Nothing too important happened apart from the script.

-Memories really are a strange thing. They're all we have for understanding the past, yet they're entirely fallible and subject to human biases. In Nanami-san's case, they're driving her to be miserable.

- Plus points to Nanami-san for showing respect here for Yuu's boundaries. She's got room to improve though.

- Sasuga, writer-san. I forget her name... it might've been Koyomi...). She unknowingly has got a good grasp on what's going on with Nanami

- Again, the self-hate... I mean, Nanami had to suffer with lots of negative reinforcement about her personality from family members who compared her to her 'better' sister... it's a rough situation all around...

- Man, this guy is seriously trying to put his reputation in the gutter. Buddy...

* Ah, Nanami san is such a cutie. She's right— she needs to improve a bit in this department.

* Poor Yuu. Her loneliness is really affecting her bad.

* Internal homophobia?

- I can only imagine the thoughts going on in her head. Probably something along the lines of, 'Yuu, you're in love, sweetheart!'

- Nanami's dad is coming from a good place, but he should probably have tried more to establish more of a relationship with his daughter. It seems their relationship is quite strained, and honestly him saying this to her just seems like too little, too late.

- Ah, so they played a game to decide who would go out, and Nanami's sister won. So, Nanami probably has some survival guilt about this because she easily could've been the one to get hit and die.
