| Rod Reiss' titan transformation is huge, but pretty ugly. The way it moved along the ground was almost like a bug. It was really creepy. On the plus side, I'm not surprised that Rod's titan was CGI'd. It looked pretty good this time and is an improvement on S2's colossal titan CGI animation-wise. A few people won't like it, of course, but drawing something that huge constantly would be very time-consuming for Wit Studio. Eren's use of the armour power was really impressive. He's a crybaby, for sure, but he did an excellent job in keeping himself and the rest of the squad alive. =) The next episode looks pretty hype, though, with the upcoming battle to stop Rod's titan from destroying the Orvud District. This will be one thrilling fight. =D |

| CGI didn't exactly bother me but..... god damn it. I hope its only for this episode, if they're gonna keep Titan Rodd as CGI that will be terrible. It doesn't look that good. Historia best girl |

Yeah I thought he looked like a worm, might be on purpose in some shots. Overall it was a decent episode, CGI didn't seem too bad in my opinion compared to other episodes. When the camera was panning out to show the countryside I thought it blended in pretty well. It's just annoying that every episode is going to be cliffhanger after cliffhanger, but oh well this arcs a big one it seems. |

| They sure made this take too much time. It's like going back to S1 when they artificially extended scenes making them empty. At least this will end next chapter, I don't dislike this arc, but I wanted it to be shorter so they could put the flashback from the basement in this season. About the CGI, it was way worse than the colossal of S2, the problem is that we came after watching a good colossal in S1, so it left a worse impression in us while this one was expected. |

| I really don't like Eren too much this season, there are so many people who are trying their best to save you so don't cry all the time how you wanna get eaten by that shithead... That armor bottle really was lying a bit in the open there without much explanation, wonder how they even make these things. Also Rod Reiss' titan form is hella weird. Wonder how they'll stop it though, I assume Eren will play a big part in it. Overall this episode feel a bit lackluster, but probably just because the two episodes before were just so damn good :3 |
| The CGI smoke was bothering me more than the actual Titan itself.. Just what the hell, I would say it moves more like a worm/caterpillar than a Titan XD Overall really good episode, however... Eren being a crybaby was working on my nerves. Everyone did their best to save you and you give them that in return. Just a little pathetic if you ask me. He did make it right in the end by using that armour bottle to save the others! |

| Something about Rod's titan just crawling was pretty unsettling. Awesome episode though. I personally didn't really mind the CGI, it wasn't crazy bad in my opinion. |
| Was I not paying attention, or did that bottle of "Armor" come out of nowhere? Also, is this the same "Armor" as Annie's? Sure hope Annie comes back to do something. So much has been going on, the series hasn't really had time to address whatever is going on with her. |
| I was kind of unhappy with how Reiss' titan looked in anime form, but it was not horrible all in all it was another very good episode though, I loved seeing Eren using the titan hardening ability to save everyone also just realized this is the first episode of this season with a titan in it LOL |

| Last week I assumed Reiss and Eren would start fighting so I ended up a bit disappointed after this episode. Aside from that everything was good. |

| At first, it is nice that Eren is back, for sure he had his reasons to got his mind perturbed, but i was really bored seing Eren crying that much! And im glad to see that exist intelligent people like Historia and Armin, to stop stupid thinks that come from Eren's crying mind! Dont understimate Reiss family powers, how can he tranforming into a titan 2x greater than Colossal titan? He really looks like a worm, maybe he isnt used to it, is his first time in titan form (i think). I wonder where Rod Reiss is going and what he is after! Well done Eren for saving everyone using hardening ability, didnt expect him to do that, maybe the bottle with armored glass helped him, but we could see that Eren can now close the wall! Btw, good statue he have created! And maybe Eren's father isnt bad guy at all, what he did was too cruel for sure, but he had to have a reason for what he did, finaly we are close to see what is inside the basement with the key left by Eren's father. And what? Historia is going to be the queen? (Best Girl will be a perfect queen for sure!) I am curious to see what will happen after they lead with Rod Reiss titan! Mikasa and Historia moment was really funny! Mikasa is talking about Levi, for sure! A great episode , as always! Hyped to see more! |

| Now that's what i call a slug titan... With arms. As others have pointed out, the CGI here was better than S2. And dayum, theres less action this season than s1, but its story is a lot more interesting. I'm curious about how different the manga and anime is now, with the changes to the story. |

| Very interesting. Rod got transformed into a titan, what a giant titan is that, he looks lika a caterpillar. Eren's determination is showed up and saved them from the ruins. It's been a while since we have seen a titan. I genuinely knew that Erwin's decision was going to be not to evacuate, I don't know what kind of plan he has but surely is a smart one. |

I know, but why would she hit him? It would just feel so random considering the way they rearranged the scene in the anime. |
| As Start700 said, it's been a long time since we've seen a titan xD I totally forgot about that haha Historia is the best girl! Damn, i wasn't expecting this for sure, i thought they would fight and Eren would win easily...but this, wow! That thing is huge! I guess it explains why they had to put that liquid inside the body with a syringe, because otherwise the transformation will fail (i guess), and this is what happened because he isn't even a complete titan. But it's scary, i wonder how tall he would be in different circumstances. With Levi around the crying Eren goes away xD I knew there was something else related to Eren's father and why he did that, he did that to save everyone, and i was actually quite surprised that Historia was the first to realize that, gotta love her. The action hasn't stopped since the beginning, and in the last episodes, it was crazy! Can't wait to see how all of this will end. Wonder how they will stop him, next episode will be epic! P.S As always, epic episode! 10/10 |

What I don't get is why there was a need for a puppet king in the first place. Probably because people were trying to kill them. | Pretty decent episode. When Historias father was transforming I thought he was gonna turn out to be this gigantic epic beast...not a gigantic lump of meat with legs... I’m expecting the next episode to be this crazy gang up on that big titan with Mikasa and Levi being badass and all the scouts and Eren tearing him up.
