Damn, Andragoras taunts the shit out of Hermes.
Finally, war time!
I’m always searching for something, for someone. This feeling has possessed me I think, from that day… That day when the stars came falling.

Arslan wish of no more people dying is easy to realize. Let Narsus take a couple of days off to paint some pictures, and put those up instead of the banners. The enemy at the very least be too paralyzed to fight, if not flee outright.

After they have won, they can put those paintings up along the border, effectively preventing any future invasion. To allow for trade, Parsian soldiers hand out blindfolds..

Looks like farangis does care about gieve that's obvious now after what she said about him and her expression says the same.

Damn if they're gonna fight it out in that Keep of Emmanuel, Arslan and Etoile will have to try and kill each other. See how romance goes in the way? And I wonder what's with that prophecy? And where the hell is Gieve?

"Guisard is bringing 100,000 men. He's a smart tactician"

That's not being smart at all. That's just being safe. Gave too much credit.

Although it looks a lot like a interlocutory episode, in substance it is not much strategy and creates the basis for future developments in history, during the narration. The comedians, do not ruin the good things hath been built and the atmosphere remains tense and anxiety to know is quite tangible. They are shown the fascinating landscapes and more.

And the time for the battle between the two princes has finally come.

Farangis not thinking about Gieve.

Time for battle.

Farangis in that end card.

That infodump by the Lusitania soldiers just as they Alfreed and Elam were happening to be spying on them was rather convenient.

Is Arslan seriously wondering why Sam would be serving the rightful heir to the kingdom? Only Arslan thought to give untrained fighters some training?

Wonder how easily Arslans troupe will win this time. Hope someone on Arslans side dies in this supposed big battle, because so far all battles since Narsus joined have lacked all tension.

Typical buildup blah, blah, blah episode.
"The future is always blank. Only your willpower can leave footsteps there."

"Ruling over death means ruling over life. Death is the climax of life. To have the best death, you must honor life."
