| The beheading of the Japanese S-rank hunters against the entity of the ant king, shit has finally come to the roof. While the raid is going on smoothly as planned, the beheadings certainly drove the Japanese hunters to oblivion, as the Korean hunters ready their fight in the ant nest, with nothing to hold back and the public in full awe of what's possibly the last big-profile raid of the period. Haein and the others giving it their all to defeat the ant queen, it's intense action all the way through, but they finally made it. However, this is not quite the end of it as the ant king takes precedence, with an aura that matches Jinwoo and leaves no room for error against the hunters that took its mother's life. Needless to say, Haein, Yoonho, Byung-gu and the others weren't quite prepared for it, as well as the Japanese hunters facing their true enemy, only to start faltering now. With the Shadow Monarchs having to interfere, it's time for Jinwoo to stand up to the cause. It's a bit of a production downgrade for a set-up episode, that still captures the terror of the ant counterattack. |

| The ant king really hates the Japanese much more than the Koreans, except for the healer. Pretty sure Goto just died at the end. RIP Jinwoo takes his time, just like most arcs. I know the broadcast was 10 minutes late, but there is no reason why the shadow soldiers didn't make any moves earlier. At least Jinwoo's exchange at the end was hype. |

| Those S Ranked Hunters had some awesome moves! Extra style points to Jong-Ins fire dragon and Cha's angelic cuts on the queen. This Ant King is quite the quick study with how he picked up language so fast. the track DARK ARIA coming back when he was getting revenge on the S Ranks totally locks in his similarities with Jinwoo! |

@G_Spark233 The Japanese got it easy, they all had a quick death, the Ant King, on the other hand, was going to slowly torture the Koreans for killing their mommy which was worse, of course the healer was going to mess up with his fun so he needed to kill him first, as for the rest it was a slow, painful death that awaits.
They are just lucky that the MC said the magic word: "Exchange".

| The Ant king was really just one shotting every Japanese S rank he found his way. Baek's magic beast form looks sick and Cha's beheading of the queen ant looked awesome. It's crazy how easily the Ant king just smacked around the S rankers. The healer's death was brutal. Baek's magic form didn't do shit. And seeing Cha's mangled body just laying there was just sad. Her entire left side is a pulp, that's how hard she was smacked away 💀 I almost forgot about the shadows hidden with the S rankers and how Sung can just teleport to one of them. Shit's getting good now. I wanna see Goto vs the Ant king too tho |

| Jinwoo not showing up when the S-rank healer died makes sense. he didn’t place a shadow soldier on him since he wasn’t supposed to be part of the raid in the first place. If only he was watching TV with his family instead of chilling on that rooftop… too bad though, the healer was a genuinely good guy. And yeah, I knew something was off too. Japan offering 10 of its top S-rank hunters with no clear gain? Way too suspicious. Turns out they planned to pull back when things went south and then swoop in at the last moment to steal the glory of clearing an S-rank dungeon. Damn those Japanese. |
| So this is it ? the so called anti japan story was just letting the korea guy die in the nest like it was litteraly planed at the start ? there was no reason for japanese hunter to propose to get used as bait and be the one risking their life first if not for more survival chance if the bait do not work. oh and the obvious plot hole of korea hunter being keep alive just because they are so weak they don't even deserve to get killed (weird flex by the author but okay) |

That's not even a plot hole and can be answered by simple logic. The Black Ant didn't kill them because they were the ones who killed his mommy so he wanted to torture them slowly before killing them, he only killed the healer first because he was being an inconvenience and was healing everyone, without the healer he could just take his sweet time torturing everyone else.
| @xZabuzax he also eat him to evolve even more and speak human. but this season is just kinda badly writen, and it's sad because there was a lot of potentail with MC finaly achieving his goal of saving his mother, like why he doesn't want to help korea (the country his familly live) and what make him change his mind and come to help. but nope,he just waiting the last moment to make his cinema entry and hype the viewer saving the day at the last second, and killing all the korea hunter would have make this so ridiculously bad. |

| This episode made me understand I would actually enjoy it anime more without Jinwoo. The fight actually become interesting of course till the moment everyone become useless for the sake of MC. Which is I never enjoy I do think there should be a level even in "Overpowered MC trope" or it’s just getting repetitive. I actually hope that the Japanese leader can gives us a good fight. And if everything was translated why Jinwoo not changed with shadow clones the moment Cha He-In literally flight to the next dimension from one punch. I hope it gonna be explained.Because I rewatched that scene a lot and I don’t see the camera man after the Black ant appeared but he didn’t die he was there the moment before Black ant appeared. So he was filming everything? Can someone explain it to me. Does they stopped the translation if like that how Jinwoo understood that everybody in danger if it from shadow clones why he waited that long? I do think it was done very poorly My theory that the translation stopped but my problem when? If the moment black ant appeared Jinwoo waited a good amount time to come so why? |

Graduated High School in May of 2022. Summer vacation has finally arrived. I have once again regained the power of a new anime fan, being able to watch multiple anime episodes in a day. Time to binge-watch every single anime I can into the night until college arrives. SADGE. SUPER SADGE... College has begun as of Monday, August 30, 2022, so you won't be seeing me much around these parks. See you on weekends, I guess... School me is back. Sigh! I'll at least try for one anime a day with all this course load. |
| the escalation is crazy...a bit too much honestly especially when it seemed like they were stronger than the korean S rankers based on the mock fight, so for the ant to go from being around A rank level to suddenly low diffing S ranks like it is Jinwoo is nuts. Makes me worried about how any future arcs will develop (or will there not be any more arcs after this involving magic beasts? it seems to me that they'd have to be weaker than this unique ant or some of these S rankers are gonna have to start reawakening again to have even a spitball of a chance). Doesn't seem to me like anyone but Jin and maybe the leader of the Japan guy can even put up a fight (although ig there were a few who didn't do the mock combat at all like the fire mage). Obviously no one would've been able to predict this ahead of time, so not really sure what people are yapping about there lol Jinwoo not joining the raid made perfect sense to me. I don't even think he made a bad decision honestly, given that he personally evaluated the team's strength and even slipped in some insurance having the shadows on 5 of them, there was no reason the S rankers without him couldn't have taken down the ants they knew about...Again, hindsight is always 20/20 because nobody could've predicted the black ant that just came into existence not long ago. He simply prioritized his mother and family who has literally been asleep for four years over going on some raid with a bunch of S rankers who were strong enough to take down the raid on their own (as far as everyone knew and in reality, they had 0 problems at all against the ants, even the queen such that I wonder how they even failed 3 whole attempts before this one when they weren't facing the black ant before this...). Obviously when things took an unexpected turn and his power was needed after all, he pulled up like he should. Honestly some of the people here act like he owes the other S rankers something or had some obligation lol Byung dude didn't deserve to die but he's not any special or different than the other S rankers who already died to this ant and it's obviously not Jin's responsibility either lmao what is he, his dad? Bro's death flag was all over the picture for the past episode already too, did anyone really expected this guy to not die? |
| Oh my lambs. ig the aura farmer Jin-Who is going to make a grand entrance here and probably save Hae-In because the amount of ragdolled she's gotten, and it was pretty funny too tho.. XD Animation pretty dropped but guess it's to be expected because they're saving all the budget for Jin-Who against the ant king himself. |

| HOLY FUCK THAT ENDING SO HYPE absolutely PEAK episode; this was like JJK's Shibuya Incident but... better. At first I thought it was cop out plot armor the black ant let the main team live, but when it was all tied back to Jinwoo infiltrating their shadows I got goosebumps. And the political intrigue subtly woven in with the Japanese commander? I'm sold. |
