Awesome, Echelon! I was just wondering the other day if it would be possible to create smth like that. Are you sure you're not a telepath? Lol ... Great news about Hi-Speed Jacy - it's one of my favourites. I have bookmarked Piyo-Piyo homepage but he don't have any "new releases" so it's difficult to search through there. |

Forgot to mention that someone has picked up Da Garn! Apparently [a-classic] was subbing this, but this new team is starting all over, and word is on mSubs' forum they have the whole thing translated already! The series supposedly has one of the main writers from GaoGaiGar and it's supposed to be one of the better Brave shows next to GGG. Here's the blog where the episodes can be found: http://hikarisenshi.wordpress.com/ And they're posting the scripts here: http://j2epro.blogspot.com/ |

Technically it's the same translator that worked on the anime classic release for Da Garn. It's definitly the 2nd best Braves show. Also Skaro just finished Cutey Honey. |

The true sequel to the original series (altough it has many things that are in question...) is the "The Endless Odyssey". |

Indeed it can be. Watching Arcadia of my Youth and going straight into SSX is fine. But I was more so talking about how konnakude still has the original series to watch according to his list. "He can't wait" and he doesn't have to wait. :) Even with the Arcadia time line, the original Space Pirate Captain Harlock is the best place to start. That way you can get more out of the Arcadia of my Youth movie as well. Where they fully expect the viewer to already know these characters even though they do a decent job explaining it all. I'm caught up with all things Harlock besides the long awaited SSX series. The weakest line was probably Harlock Saga. I think I'm due for an Endless Odyssey rewatch. That one wasn't too shabby. |

I'm also a big fan of Captain Harlock and I've also seen all of them except for the SSX series. I like Matsumoto's works a lot! I totally agree about the Harlock Saga series! It was the least the could do... Also some other works that involve the legendary Captain are not so good (to say the least...) like Cosmo Warrior Zero for example. |

Nods. You're totally right, Hisoka. I've not seen the original Captain Harlock. It's just when I wrote that I can't wait, I meant that I'm waiting for the whole franchise to be subbed in order to watch it in one big go. For me it's nothing more as irritating as some parts of some series remain unsubbed. I just can't stand it. I prefer to take the whole concept and watch it all together, in order to get a better overview. And I really enjoy Matsumoto works a lot. Thanks for sharing and caring. XD |

A nice triple release for us today: Pollyanna episodes 41 and 42 are out, as well as Little Women II - Jo's Boys episode 11. That means we're only 9 episodes from finishing Pollyanna! Unfortunately, we're not quite out of the last rough patch that's slowing us down, but we'll get through that soon. |

After Pollyanna, what we're planning to do is to pull a page from ARR's playbook, with a little twist. We'll oneshot the series that we're thinking about doing, and have a vote on what to do next. I'll have more details as we get closer to that. |

I did have someone e-mail us offering money for us to speed up on Pollyanna, but I had to explain to them that was not what we really needed. |

I saw starseeker. I won't name drop anyone, but yeah. Also the way ARR does business is pretty much just straight up blackmailing. I mean if it's like a solo fansubber, say heck, Crinn, then yeah them having donations available is definitely cool and all, I'm not against it at all and I wish I had money to send over to him right now if I could just for being awesome. But yeah, when groups start doing the work FOR the money and not the fans/fun, then that says something... so basically I agree with what Licca and you are saying for the most part. That and I'm scratching my head over why someone would want you guys to speed up on Pollyanna, haha. You guys are Sonic the Hedgehog already. |

Well, in our case, Pollyanna was actually going a bit slower than normal due to obligations that take precedence over fansubbing. We were very lucky that we didn't have too many of those issues when we were subbing A Little Princess Sara. |

Also left Rob a message on his profile, I'll try and update the big main post on the first page of his when I can... but we still have to wait for the MAL HTML/BBCode bug to be fixed, if I edited it now it'd just break the list and links. :( ... really hope MAL fixes it someday, it's been weeks... |
