| Interesting premise The developers of those android could at least create a way in order to backup the memories. Though we all know that they didn't do that because Isla should malfunction later in this series for the feels. | WHY AM I CRYING. IT'S BEEN YEARS SINCE I'D CRIED SO MUCH WITH AN ANIME Ok, I wasn't gonna watch this, but Digibro recommended it, so I did. Animation is decent, I like the designs and colors. I've always liked the idea of androids, and this one is just a cruel way to tell us that everything has a beginning and an end... however, 9 years seems too short of a life. I feel like Giftias shouldn't have feelings and memories if the developers know they're only gonna life for 9 years. I mean, it's not easy to live with someone for 9 fucking years knowing they will disappear once those years pass. Idk, we'll see. |

| I was kinda close to crying, I could feel my tears well up. Not the perfect feels episode (but hey for a first episode it was impressive), though the comedy moment at the end kinda killed the mood. |

| While cautiously optimistic, my money is on this becoming a cheesy version of Eve no Jikan. I'm at a loss to understand how this evoked genuine emotion, because to me it screamed 'forced feels'. Let's hope the writing/execution can match the emotionally charged premise rather than relying on it as a crutch. The characters were typical carbon cutouts and the comedy was (mostly) a blight on the drama. But what I did enjoy - something I hope is employed later too - were the creative time/place skip shots in the beginning of the ep. Lots of potential here, but the devil will be in how its handled... |

| This was about as subtle as Team America. The themes, while interesting in theory, were laid out so obviously and with such a shitty melodramatic attitude that I can't help but pity the incompetence of the writers. From the myriad of attempts to get cheap emotions out of the viewer by showing crying characters, to the lame main cast full of cliches and the average production, this show just feels like a colossal waste and will most likely be one of the more overhyped shows this season. But hey, at least the loli peed herself in the end. So deep. |

Because that's how this show engineers its "FEELS." The set up is so far from reality and devoid of the human experience yet plays itself up to be an opera of dramatic nuances. | Hands down one of my fav shows this season and Isla's humor is awesome :D I'll be lying if I said I didn't teared up at the end, it's sad when something precious to you is stripped away. If only they have a way to backup the memories and reupload it into the giftia after the iOS update. |

| I cried. ... was not expecting that at all. Isla is the best android ever. (I suspect she is nearing the end of her lifespan... drama awaits.) Why do those people even have them anyways? Granny had a fantasy for having a little grand daughter take care of her? Those other people wanted a stay-home-working-son? ... weirdos. |

| This was unexpectedly sad. I wasn't sure what I was actually expecting from this series, but for some reason I thought it would merely be some sort of harem. I'm glad I was wrong, and that there are interesting factors to this series. The first part of the episode was pretty meh and I wasn't really interested in the main male MC, but then the second half kicked in and took me by surprise. It was depressing but I really enjoyed it (though I'm still not fond of male MC yet...) I also couldn't help but laugh at Isla multiple times throughout the episode, and that last scene in the car... |

| It had a very nice opening indeed. I hope the story doesn't end with Isla's death, but something more exciting happens. I mean maybe Tsubaka can make a change and maybe help Isla to not get her memory not erased. I hope that doesn't happen, because then the ending would be very predictable and very lame. -.- But let's see how the next couple of ep. turns out. :) |
