| ugh. whats this. 7/10 , initially 6 but +1 for the fine effects used in the last episode(i love the shining wings~lol) enjoyable series but not my favorite. I like the characters. If theres a second season , I shall watch it too :) |

| For those putting down the series, read the actual manga, recommended indeed. It's so much more better that it's not even funny, both are in different leagues. They skipped so many important scenes that happened in the manga, and as a result it's depicted as inconsistencies. Manga there's a lot more depth, actual character development, nothing is rushed, and it's more articulate and a must read. |
| Great to see Arata pull his big boy pants on in this episode and he certainly does seem to be more confident in himself now. That was a pretty decent fight despite them mostly just clashing blade and standing there. And that Sousei no Hinowa looked fucking beautiful wow. Aww yeah Kotoha and Arata had a nice moment of their own near the end. I sure hope there'll be a season two of this with how much more material there are so I can see more development between those two haha. And I've gotta say I just love the OP song and ED song was great too. |

| What?! They made Yorunami's zokushou submit to him in the anime?! PFFT! Also that lack of a reaction when Arata uses Yorunami's Hayagami I am disappointed....In the manga it was a more explained/"fleshed out" and thus much less of a random "what the heck??". If they ever make a season 2 I pray they better do a much better job than this =/ |

| this episode was good it ended the season in a way that let them start it up again which they will they did skip a lot of stuff but the only reason they did that either they are going make special or ova until the second season is out because if the anime caught up to the manga now then it wont give the author time to end the manga which is what happening the manga has only so many shinsho left to fight after beats them all and saves the priestess and becomes king he is done all thats left if for him to go back to his own world. the only reason i didnt mention kadowaki was because he is like road side attraction they arent going to kill each other it most likely end with him dying while protecting arata or so bs like that he just that last pawn the enemy uses but that pawn turn good afterhe is nothing. |

| Yeeeaaaah, adapting a 200-chapter series into a 12-episode anime is never a good thing. I haven't read the manga, but I can tell there's a good story here. It kept me engaged throughout, so maybe one day I'll check out the manga. The characters weren't too bad either. |
| Kinda decent. Wonder what happens to the city now with all those guys submitting to him. Nothing really settled with Kadowaki. Need a 2nd season to finish things it looks like. |

| Weird they changed the story near the end.. I mean, It's completely different than the manga, Kadowaki shouldn't be in that scene on the Yorunami Arc, the fight between Him and Arata is still very late in the series/manga. Also lmfao at the explosion... well I guess i'll give it a 5/10 with this kind of ending. |
| That was so top kek. Seriously. I don't know if it's 4 or 5/10 material. I think it's just a bad adaptation but even the writing suffers. The art got rekt. The manga looks so pretty while this... ugh. Even the MAL picture looks like trash. I think the worse part was how many times they reiterated the motive of the villain (Masato). "Oh no! He let me win in a race! He's looking down on me!" is very simple and legit but how does that turn into "FUCK THIS NERD. I WILL SLAUGHTER HIM INTO PIECES. HATE HATE HATE" Calm the fuck down, mate. You have issues if you could turn from a cute shota into a raging bitch because of something so small. Even the MCs aren't worth much. I expected more since this is written by a Shoujo author so I tend to like the males more but they were your typical generic shounen protags. :/ On the bright side, loved the ED themes, sung by my hubby's band, OLDCODEX and it was fun hearing lots of good voice actors in this show. As much as I hated Masato, Kimura Ryohei did an excellent job, as usual. And hey, even Matsuoka was nice in fantasy!Arata. Will check out manga if it's complete. |
| I gave it an 8 to start, I liked the strong open. Then Kadowaki happened..add in a cliffhanger end with no resolution to anything and no hope of a season 2 and you get a 5/10....almost a 4. |

| Was I the only one that kept thinking that Arata didn't actually slow down on purpose in that race? That's the kind of asspull that came to mind when that is the entire core of the hatred for Arata, then they make up in the end and he submits in order to save Arata from some kind of crazy asspull(since his hayagami is supposed to be the only one capable of defeating Tsukuyo, who else can really challenge him?) Still a good series though, I gave 7/10 because it entertained me and I enjoyed myself throughout. Though it is doubtful, I would really like another season just to see how this ends(even though I am pretty sure I already know). |

| Tsukuyo getting awakened was mindblowing in that fight against Kadowaki. As for Kadowaki, I felt like he was just another frustrated youth taking his steam on Arata- pretty meaningless if you tell me. His (Kadowaki) replacement in the other world is still a problem left unattended, I wonder what is he planning. I see also there are other 12 shinshos left, so I think it needs a second season for those. I am also glad Arata got a power up from Yorunami and his Zakushos, that was a bit epic. He still hasn't fulfilled his promise to the princess, something he constantly neglected in this entire show. As for Arachi- What is young Emisu doing with him, isn't she supposed to be dead? So many spaces in the ending that were left unfilled. Overall it was a good watch in the beginning, but then I started to hate it towards the end. The plot was all over the place. Like what was the point of having two Aratas if you are not going to use them well. They should have just created a simple isekai, instead of taking on such drag and not follow up. They neglected side characters a lot, like why was Kanate there in the first place along with others if you going to sideline them a lot. Arata is a frustrating character along with the lame villains. Characters are big contributors to the show and if left unchecked the entire thing collapses, this was one of those. Animation visuals weren't that good either along with the music. All in all it failed to captivate me to watch again or remember it in future. I watched a lot of anime and this will be just a number to them. Thank goodness it doesn't have S2. 4/10 |

| this whole thing was just pretty much a build up till the sword gets cleaned lol if it wasn't for the decent start (the first 7 episodes) i woulda gave it a 4-5, but with how everything fell off a cliff, i give a 6. |
| Awful characters, awful writing, awful motivations, awful pacing, and plot holes galore. There's so much I have to say, but like this adaptation I am going to give up before I even begin. |

| Yuu Watase cannot write a good manga after Fushigi Yuugi. The stupidest villian ever I hate Arata because he let me win a race so then I will bully him and kill him and stupid Orochi listened to his lame reason and gave him their power. 4/10 out of pity |
| It just ended like that halfway, whatever.. Overall : The animation is good, The reason they fight each other is stupid, Switching characters with other pararel world is not a bad idea for a story.. Kadowaki is so stupid and Hinohara didn't get it how it turn out like this (is he lose on puprose on those running test).. Like I said b4, its just a stupid reason to mess around.. I am here on 2023, no second season hahaha.. |
