| Nice starting episode , tbh i wasn't expecting this , imo it was better than 80% episodes of Bakemonogatari. Great dialogues , amazing graphics (i hope that they will keep it through all episodes) , SENJOUGAHARA-SAMA <3 and comeback's of epic characters + new ones! Srsly what more could you want. If they keep similar level to this episode through all the series and some of the upcoming episodes will be shinies like episode 12 to Bakemono then man ... this will be a helluva anime lol :3. 5/5 - couldn't expect more from the start :333333 Senjougahara Tore \o/ |

| I'm not going to lie, I was so ready for this and my hype was through the ceiling. And then it started and the scene with Senjougahara and Araragi and I was like, "Yes! Senjougahara <3" But then it continued with mindless and rambling conversations. The OP was good, but then the mindless babbling continued with not only his youngest sister, but with Hachikuji as well. | I agree with Okthxbaii. I honestly think I fell out of love with the franchise because of this episode. Nisemonogatari wasn't "bad", but it certainly wasn't "OMG!! Amazing!!". This episode had way too much pointless dialogue that doesn't add anything to the plot or characters. It felt like nothing really happened throughout the entire episode and the characters were just talking for the sake of talking. Not to mention the power-point presentation style, it makes it feel like the seiyuu are reading from a script rather than the characters actually talking. Too many cut-aways to unimportant backgrounds and random camera angles to save animation budget. Plus the dialogue between Mayoi and Arararagi was extremely drawn out and creepy. Never thought Arararagi was such a pedophile. :O I really hope the series improves later, because this was just decent at best. |
| Well, even tough Im not a huge fan of that loli I have to say this was a great episode, the dialogue is reallyawesome. Besides we got to see more Senjougahara awesomeness. And by the way I cant wait for the movie. |

| Fair enough if you didn't like the episode but how could you go into this expecting any but tons of talking? :P This is basically exactly what Bakemonogatari was like and exactly what SHAFT is like so going in expecting otherwise is somewhat baffling. But again I'm not saying you're not allowed to dislike the episode but this trend will probably continue throughout the series :P |

| Sniff. What happened to Tsukihi's beautiful long hair?! She looks horrible now. And wow, Araragi household is even more creepy than rundown build where Hitagi lives... Hopefully it won't end up the same as as Bakemonogatari with great start, horrible middle part and not-good-enough-to-make-me-forget-how-it-sucked-earlier end. |

On a side note ... when the loli lifted up her skirt ... a pie came out ... and it may just be me but it looked to be made of cream. 17+ indeed |

| Good first episode,it BEEgins hehe...... Senjougahara was amazing as always abducting Araragi her humor is just unique. Tsukihi is kinda cute also we have another Index kinda voice that "everyone" loves..... Hachikuji part was funny i always enjoy her part specially when he surprise her,also the conversation wasnt that bad even that i could be shorter. Still good first episode and cant wait for more and i already want to see Karen-chan!! |

| Holy critical acclaim Batman. This thread is full of praise. Is it really that good? I still have the prequel lying here waiting to be watched, so maybe I should marathon Bakemonogatari tomorrow and catch up with Nisemonogatari. =P |

| The first 3 min felt like freakin' 8 hours. I can't see the appeal in the Bakemonogatari franchise at all... To each his own I guess :P |

| I never was totally convinced by Bakemonogatari, and couldn't comprehend its enormous success, really. But somehow, during watching this first episode I, you know, kind of thought that the series crosses the border of an ordinary anime, and becomes a certain form of an embodiment of artistry. I have to say that I enjoyed it thoroughly, and am definitely looking forward to the next episode. 5/5 for this episode. |

| Oh, and here I thought the fire sisters were the protagonists of Nisemono. This first episode felt like a total follow-up to Bakemono though, with the same characters, themes and direction. Not that I'm complaining, I actually really liked it. |

| The courage to admit the first seven minutes of this episode were torture thanks to Senjougahara's continued existence, before Hachikuji came in to save the show. |

| Oh god it's been far too long! as away's i find myself focusing on the crazy dialogue instead of the pretty art but i think after watching so many shows that use this style i gotten used to all the random signs indating whats going on :P i'm pumped to see more of the sisters this season now~. monogatari + Zero no Tsukaima weekends can't get any better |

There's no way the timeframe of the arc is that short. Notice, he said he got kidnapped on July 29th, and then the scenes after the first scene start on July 29th. He's going to get kidnapped soon. |
