| Hmmmmm so-so episode... nothing really happened, luffy waking up and goes rampaging and boa horning over him. If next week we'll indeed get to see the rest of the crew again, HURRAY, filler or not, I'll take that with gr8 pleasure ! :D |

| It's a huuuge shame that Ace isn't alive anymore, at first I thought he was annoying and a bit arrogant but later on I grew to like him big time. Luffy has some rough days ahead but I'm sure he'll get through them. |

| LOL at the mention of Brownbeard haha another wannabe pirate! :-))) It was great to see Amazon Lily again.. They're really pushing against the rules inviting more men on the island..but Hancock is so cute when she's in love haha Near the end.. Luffy wakes up and bears the reality.. really really sad ending :-( |

| Poor poor poor Luffy T___T I wanted to hug him during this episode.... It's so sad :( And I am crying again XD p.s.1 Ivankov is gonna meet Sanji. Nice! p.s.2 I still wonder about Law's intentions... plus, I have to admit he is very cool and he has a great voice... p.s.3 that's what happenes when you kill the only person pirates are afraid of, you stupid navy!!!! p.s.4 stupid wannabe copycats everywhere!!!! Black-Brown.... When you try so hard to copy someone else, you should know that you will never be someone important. |
| Wow the crying scenes in the show recently are… well, drawn in an interesting fashion. I keep wanting to feel sad but I can't because what I'm seeing on screen is really making me want to laugh. Good stuff, praise to the One Piece animators for bringing these things into my life! |

| I don't know what's sadder, Ace's death or Luffy's reaction to it...poor little guy ;-; Just when I thought I was gonna catch a break from crying, I tear up all over again. People always complain about the way characters in OP look when they cry, but I think it's great. It kind of annoys me when anime characters look all cute and endearing when they cry. Crying hard is not a pretty sight, folks! It's interesting to see Luffy like this because he's such an optimistic, easy going guy. Of course he still will be after he's done his grieving, but I think he'll definitely be more focused and determined after this whole ordeal. Unlike the other Straw hats, Luffy hasn't really dealt with a major loss yet and that's even more blaringly obvious in his severe reaction to it. It's like he doesn't know what to do with his feelings. He needs food! Get him food!!! Oh yeah, we got Brownbeard this ep...lol what's next- Bluebeard?! XD And Iva-chan has yet to discover the new Candy on his island hahaha |

| So, as expected, the balance Whitebeard had on the sea is broken and the people he kept safe under his territory are now being raided. This Brownbeard took over that one island we keep getting a look at and it made it clear that Whitebeard keeps a whole lot of the sea under his control, more than just the Fishman island. The thing that took me by my surprise was the line that stated contrary to the Navy's thought the sea got more tense. Wasn't it clear the kind of force Whitebeard was on the sea? It must have been to them. So momma Ivan left dadda Jimbei to tend to Luffy. It makes sense, Ivan is the queen of Kamabakka kingdom and a revolutionary commander, they have things to do. But, I'm glad they bonded with Luffy and Jimbei. Both fought with their lives to keep Luffy safe, both for his connection with a different person, Ace for Jimbei, and Dragon for Luffy. But both found respect for him past that. Ivan even compared his resolve to Dragon himself and Jimbei decided he respects Luffy so much he would die for him as he would die for Ace. Luffy's made some good allies through this and his allies became allies of each other. This may have been quite tragic but I suppose we had some good come out of it. And, I'm glad Luffy has Jimbei through this. Jimbei was very close to Ace too, both lost someone special to them during the war and having someone as reliable as Jimbei who can relate with Luffy is nice. Is Luffy going to want to die after all of this? The one thing I can see pushing him on is so Ace can live through him and for his nakama. I would say his ambition but I think being the pirate king is simply becoming a man that lives up and even surpasses Shanks to him and I don't know if Luffy understands Shanks probably couldn't save people either, no matter how hard he tried. He did say if he didn't fight to his death to save Ace he'd rather kill himself afterwards... It was hard to watch him refusing to accept reality, trying to play it off like a dream when it was evidently clear he knew it wasn't, as the events kept playing back and back and back again in his head. Especially when he had to face the facts himself. Even now Luffy is really being saved by everyone around him. The war had 3 warlords on his side if you count the former warlord Crocodile. Now he has two, one who will hide him in her territory as he heals, and one to look after him. Further without Law we can assume Luffy and Jimbei would have most definitely died. Was it Vista who said Luffy's strength is to unite those around him? Because we can still see it occuring now... I was actually shocked that Hancock listened to Nyon. Didn't she toss her out a window early on in Amazon Lily? It's a bit of a shame he's surrounded by the Kuja who want to come visit him. I can't see him celebrating any time soon.. but it's nice to see their worry for him. |
| Boa scheming to get to Luffy while Nyonba thwarts her plans was adorable as always~ Luffy going berserk and being deep in denial was very difficult to watch but it was most likely the only way he can express all the feelings he felt. It's good that he actually came to terms with the truth instead of denying Ace's death but I still feel really bad for him. |

| It's sad that Luffy is going through so much sorrow/grief right now. Not only did he lose Ace, but he also lost his friends (for now). I'd be in the same situation as him tbh :( ... All right, I think I should stop here for now. It's getting late... LOL. |
