He's not. I don't recall if it was covered by this point in the light novel (though I think it was) so I won't elaborate just in case but there is a solid reason he's still single. |

They've already explained why he's single. He explained that the woman he loved and wanted to marry died when he was still busy raising his sister, and that he has no intention of marrying someone else because they're no match for the woman he loved. Myne, who is on his shoulders at that time, even pat him after that. |

| This is what I have been stressing since season 1, ideas from memories of her past but more advanced world are disruptive to this less advanced world, she actually mean well but she has not realized the potential repercussions until Ferdinand explicitly points it out to her, it might not be the same outcomes as her old world's history but it is change nonetheless, change that is feared by the ones on top who wants to preserve their current world order and retain their status, power, and wealth. |

So not even the more educated commoners being, can take a rebellious against the power (order?) of nobility. Ferdinand is and Acrh-Noble, Shhikikoza, was a Med-Noble (in the bottom line with the Lay-Nobles), ands Damuel is just a Lay-Noble. that's why he have to obey Shikikoza. |

Yes, it's her Japanese mother from previous life. I won't said she "hurt" her previous family, but what she did was neglected her family relationship a bit (too much?) when she was immersed reading, ...up to the point that her mom has to urge her to eat, as seeing at the beginning of season 2, when Ferdinand was "reading her mind" with the magic tool. |

| So Myne has to choose between her family and her dream, poor her. At least she can have her baby brother remember her, her mother looks absolutely awful though. She might not survive. I still think the blue robed dude is suspicious. It's quite surprising they touch on the issues on commoner children having a huge chance to die. That must've been tough for all the seasonal watchers... |

| That little post episode bit was actually really morbid & depressing. Myne's family has really grown on me and it made me so happy when Kamil was finally born. That end illustration made me tear up and grateful for how endearing they've all become. |
