| The animation was gorgeous, but that's basically the only positive thing I can say about the episode. The actual fight scenes between Yamato and Ace weren't that interesting nor was the rest of the episode due to most of it being a really drawn-out adaptation of only a few manga pages. I dunno, maybe it's because I don't care for Yamato and Ace is just an average character to me, so watching them talk for almost the entire episode did little for me. |

| Absolute incredible episode. Even after so many years I'm always excited to see Ace again. Meeting Ace was the best thing what could've happened to Yamato. I don't think anybody else would've been able to open her eyes for the truth. Of course getting cuffed as a kid and not having the freedom to leave the island or doing what you want to do, must have been hell for her. At them same time like Ace told her, you can't choose your parents. But that doesn't mean that you're not able to make your own decisions for what you want in life. If someone has experience with something like that, then it's definitely Ace. He was able to hit Yamato's soft spot, but that helped her to realize what she really wants. Such a heartwarming scene when both of them were drinking and Ace told her about the world out there. It's still crazy to think Ace is gone :( Funny enough to see Momo's and Shinobu's reaction when Yamato told them about Kaido being her father. With the amount what Ace told her about Luffy, it's no wonder she was so desperate to finally meet him. Poor Tama also finally heard the truth about Ace. FeelsBadMan The fight scenes looked incredible. Animation was absolute beautiful. And what a transition from Luffy's Red Hawk into the To Be Continued. It seems we're slowly closing into the Roof Top part. My body is ready :D |

| Wow, what a great episode man A great fight with Ace and Yamato to begin with and then him relating to Yamato about their traumatic pasts because of their fathers is simply brilliant. I was getting feels left and right with those old OSTs coming back, and Ace talking so fondly of Luffy and Tama talking about Ace, its just too much man, I am getting hit so deep in the feels. |

Graduated High School in May of 2022. Summer vacation has finally arrived. I have once again regained the power of a new anime fan, being able to watch multiple anime episodes in a day. Time to binge-watch every single anime I can into the night until college arrives. SADGE. SUPER SADGE... College has begun as of Monday, August 30, 2022, so you won't be seeing me much around these parks. See you on weekends, I guess... School me is back. Sigh! I'll at least try for one anime a day with all this course load. |

| Man, they really made Ace's and Yamato's flashbacks so charming, well done. Seeing Ace in action with Yamato no less made me smile, especially when they bonded together, drinking whilst sharing stories of Ace's adventure. Before Luffy even began sailing, Ace was already sure he's gonna be powerful and even Yamato was awaiting Luffy's arrival long before the moment he actually stood on Onigashima. For loathing Kaido as much as she does, it's somewhat adorable how Yamato never actually refuses to acknowledge Kaido as her father, even calling Kaido "father" multiple times. Al this is thanks to Ace for making Yamato realize that no matter how much she hates Kaido, it's still her father. |

| I really love Ace and Yamato's friendship. Yamato trying to answer the question of her own, "What is the meaning of life" with the help of Ace to get into her senses. She went through struggle as a kid for doing what's not the right thing according to Kaido, well at the end of day, one gets to decide how to live their life. |
