| I didn't get this thought entirely on my own, but someone on crunchy roll said "The hermit crab's falling symbolizes the start of a new saga. Very nice touch to the story, if you ask me" which I think is an awesome interpretation. The crew stated that this little crab has been with them the entire journey before, at the end, it falls off the boat. I think that clearly signifies the start of a brand new journey in a really cool way. To speak more generally about the episode however, I think this was one of the weaker ones. Up there in the mediocre episodes with the episode of Sanji vs Pearl-san. The humor carrying the episode is not what One Piece normally relies on, and it's alike the first tournament arc from Dragon Ball in the sense that when it does it's very volatile. The jokes were hit or miss most revolving around slapstick with Buggy. I did thoroughly enjoy how Buggy and Gaimon bonded and had a little bromance by the fire and found their purposefully melodramatic farewell hilarious. The piano made it so much better. The highlight of this episode was definitely the hermit crab symbolism though. |
| I really didn't expect to see the Son in a Box again but his dynamic friendship with Lil' Buggy was very fun to watch. To think that the kid they were talking about in very different lights was actually the same guy lol That lady pirate saved Buggy to guide her towards the Going Merry but little did he know that he flew right over it already. That hermit crab that was trying to climb up the rocks back at Kuro's arc hitched a ride all along and fell off long after, oof. |

| So there is a good man residing inside Buggy. Good to see Gaimon again. Irony, they didn't knew they were talking about the same guy. But somewhere in the sea Luffy was arguing with his crew in sleep. They does everything by themselves. That was quite beautiful to watch and I respect them for this. |

| Yep! I called it! Buggy's still alive. He can still play some minor role in the series. It's still so weird to see him without all his body parts lmao I wonder why he can't 'summon' his other body parts to his current location. Is there some kind of range limitation? Huh, Buggy and boxman are friends now. Sheesh...that mysterious pirate though 🥵🥵🥵 People in One Piece have hourglass figures fr lol I wonder if Sanji will simp for her lol |

| Nothing much happened this episode. But this is who I think it is? Based on the ship? And if it is who I think it is, then HOW did she manage that o.o So I guess we are going forwards another Buggy vs Straw Hat encounter. Please let it be some short amount of episodes buggy is annoying D: |

| that was fun, a little convenient in plot device, specially the part where buggy is restored to his former self with crew and all to face liffy... again. 3/5 oh, that's Alvida? thought it was a new character, dayum! how did she changed? lastly, this is not a filler... but had poor audience in Japan back then. it's called cover story and they adapted quite a few apparently because of low views. here's the list: - Buggy's Crew Adventure Chronicles (eps 46-47) - Diary of Koby-Meppo (eps 68-69) - Straw Hats Separation Serial (eps 418-421 and 453-456) - Wapol's Omnivorous Hurrah (ep 778 as a brief montage) - Caribou's Kehihihihi in the New World (ep 921 as a brief montage) - The Stories of the Self-Proclaimed Straw Hat Grand Fleet (eps 885 and 1081, covering only about 1/5th of it) That leaves about 12 cover stories (so far) that have never been touched in anime form. A few (namely the two "From the Decks of the World" serials) could be covered in just a few minutes, but most of them could easily fill out a full episode each. source |

| This essentially a silly episode involving Buggy. I don't know why but seeing him without his torso and his legs make him look like an odd Mr Potato Head to me. XD Anyways it was a pretty funny episode, a quite a lot of mixed reception for this particular episode considering it's a filler episode but I actually liked it and it's a nice little break from the next arc that's coming up soon for me. Gaimon! Him and his animal friends are back again and apparently he develops a friendship for the ol' clown pirate. It's funny think to that they are both talking about Luffy but they have no idea it's the same person they are on about. Who was that female pirate at the end? Only one way to find out. She has a common with Buggy though in that she wants to kill Luffy like Buggy. Nice little sweet moment at the end with the straw hats in particular just arguing in their sleep. XD And a little detail that somebody pointed out is the hermit crab in this episode, is actually the same one from Ussopp's village because it was seen scrruying around on the rocks close to the shore and it apparently hitched a ride on the Going Merry and it falling into the sea is definitely the start of something new is gonna happen just around the corner for the Straw Hat crew. For now, the next episode will have more Buggy. So I guess I'll find out who that mysterious woman is in the next episode. |
