| There's potential in this plot. When i saw polygonal Tama all i could think about was the music video of Money For Nothing, so after the episode i rewatched it again. That final 8-bit theme was a good touch. |

| rewatched with italian dub, and immediately aware that this will probably be hard to top as the best episode of this arc. Forgot how amusing was the argument between older and newer generations of gaming represented by Gintoki and Shinpachi, and agree with the former about deceiving cover art for titles from the NES days and appreciating "and you" in the ending credits. ...another weapon with soy sauce support? Really? But... still funny. |

| @TechDragon What were the FF 6-8 references?? The DQ skit was sooo good. It hits some insane nostalgia receptor in my brain seeing this heavy handed Dragon Quest I reference in Gintama, now, in 2025, with the OG Dragon Warrior (NES) being my very first game when I was merely 4 or 5 years old and is one of the huge reasons I got into JRPGs. I loved this episode so much. |
