| I know that a lot of people found this ending not perfectly fit for the two of them, and I did too, considering Sebastian seemed really angry. But HOLY COW. I truly think (oddly) that there will be a seaosn three because at the end the fourth butler (who is rarely shown that I always forget his name) is shown with words at the bottom saying "'Till we meet again." (or something like that). So another 12 episodes is a positive go. Anyways, Ciel makes a great demon. There were lots of twists and I generally loved it. A lot better than the first season, actually. |

| This is probably the worst show I've seen all year. Worse than Angel Beats, worse than Sora no Woto. There isn't a single redeeming factor in the way this sequel panned out. There really isn't much to say past that. |

| I... didn't really enjoy this season. The first few episodes held such glorious potential, but they absolutely ruined it with introducing so many new characters. I can't explain it, but I really didn't like the story at all. I much preferred the first season! The only reason I watched this was because of Grell, really. His scenes were brilliant. Otherwise, this was a very horrendous sequel. The Kuroshitsuji name has been soiled. |

The ending must've been confusing to many viewers anyways. Ciel and Sebastian are still under a contract. However, Ciel has already died and reincarnated into a demon. Thus leaving Sebastian unable to devour his soul. At the beginning of the contract, Sebastian sworn to Ciel that he would fulfill Ciel's thirst for revenge in exchange for his soul after death - and through this Sebastian must serve Ciel as his butler until Ciel's revenge is done. Even when all is said and done, Sebastian was supposed to consume Ciel's soul - alas, thanks to Hannah and Alois that turned Ciel into a demon the moment Hannah fulfilled Alois' revenge, Ciel is a demon and his human soul is gone. Sebastian cannot consume a demon's soul, apparently. In the end, the supposed "contract" is not exactly broken and it leaves Ciel and Sebastian eternally bound together. I hope that makes sense. I apologize if it does not. I suggest watching the last episode again for better clarification of the subject. |

| From reading the most recent comments it seems like there is a lot of anger at this ending. Personally i was speechless at the end and that is enough to give any anime an applaud. Yes the ending was open. however, the fact that the two are now eternally linked together without any 'foes' or anything, arguably, closes it just as well as killing Ciel off did for the first. Overall The end of episode 1 got my interested, i didn't enjoy anything after that till ep. 9 with the soul mixing. I enjoy getting my mind played with so, despite the annoying maze, the remainder of the season was pretty good. I'll let it off with a very high 7. |
| I enjoyed this season (excluding the last eppy) because of its thrills and actions.. but I found myself less absorbed by this season's ending I was like :l the whole time where with other eppies from this season, I'd be saying "OHH SNAAAAP!!" or "Oh no he DI'Nt!" or "OH F!" or "I TOTALLY KNEW THAT WAS COMING" or "HELL YEAH!" I'm, not utterly but moderately, disappointed by this season's ending. |

| I actually liked this ending, haha. I can see where the anger comes from, but personally, I thought it ended pretty well. I enjoyed it. : D I didn't see it coming, that's for sure. The thing that disappoints me is that I really loved Alois' character, but based on the majority's opinion, this whole season was treated more or less as canon fodder. OTL I would have liked to see more of him, in a less fast paced and throwing-plot-twists-at-us-everywhere setting. But like I said, I enjoyed this! :'D So it's all good. <3 |

| LULZ demons die just once but Ciel died and died and lived forever. WIN. xD I love this season though. I love the mindfuck and the sad ending that Sebby didn't get to eat his meal. ): And when we're all expecting Ciel to be eaten... ha. Poor Sebby, you can eat my soul. I wish they'd make another Kuroshitsuji that is closer to the manga when it's over. But I guess I have to wait long for that. |
| I hated the ending. I felt a pang of sadness and guilt when Claude closed his eyes. Hannah's a bitch but I kinda went 'Aw' when she lied down beside Claude, ready to die. I HATED this episode. Throughout the episode Sebastian never smiled once. And through the last few minutes his faces showed such utter despair and surrender... I was nearly in tears. Ciel turning into a demon is not good. Not at all. I don't like his demon self. Where have they taken this? The ending was completely and utterly ... not to my taste. I won't say disappointing. It was a unique and shocking ending. But not as I wanted it to be. I want a happy Sebastian. I want a happy Ciel ... I WANT MY RAINBOWS AND SUNSHINES. And I personally believe that Sebastian's cause of emptiness is not because he wasn't able to devour Ciel's soul, but because he never wanted such a fate for Ciel. This regret seems much stronger. What a shitty ending really. I feel like crying. We've been trolled badly. I want a third season. THIS CAN'T END WITH A SAD SEBASTIAN. |

| Well, colour me slightly surprised. The ending wasn't that bad and actually felt somewhat satisfying. It's nice that they gave Alois, Luka and Hannah a happy ending and gave closure by having (nearly) all the characters appear at the ending. In the end the contractees were the ones with the last laugh, which was the biggest surprise for me and did make the ending better. Good job in giving a proper confirmation about Ciel and Sebastian's relationship. Rare delicacy and hungry demon, nothing more. Certainly fit my impression from season 1 and it's ending. I love the reversal of roles and everlasting curses. Sure this path the writers chose is controversial since it drives fangirls into denial but that's none of my business. Overall... somewhere between a 6 or 7, likely 6. I still feel season 1 had the better overall story execution. It had a great start, with the strongest arc (Jack the Ripper/Madam Red), declined to a boring, somewhat crappy middle and slowly rose back for a fitting and well executed ending. This sequel was a mess throughout with the redeeming points sprinkled here and there like bread crumbs and an ending which at least fit the direction the season went. But yeah, quite a mess till the point that I feel the best new character introduced is Ronald Knox =P. |

It's not like Sebastian hates Ciel, as it's not his fault that he became a demon. Ciel was actually ready to give his soul to Sebastian but well, 'cause of Alois and his damn wish everything became complicated. Now Sebastian and Ciel both are doomed- Ciel has to live on with no purpous in it additionally as a demon, and Sebastian will never attain what he craved, but will be incarcerated in the form of Ciel's butler for the eternity having to serve another demon. Kinda pitiful fate for both of them. Now about the episode, I cant say I hated it, but didn't love it either. I'm a little disappointed in Sebby vs Claude duel. I thought it would be sth more spectacular, while Sebastian defeated Claude just so quickly and easly... And this 'dramatic' speech of Claude just before he died... Really uncool. Then the whole thing with Ciel turned into demon... Ok I didnt expect that, but I felt like it was a bit strained. As for the whole series the begining and the end were messed up, the middle was even interesting. The first series was SO MUCH better. Ehh... Too bad. |

| I feel like I'm the only person who was expecting - and enjoyed - this ending. TBH, if ANYTHING else had happened, I wouldn't have been satisfied. If Sebastian had eaten Ciel's soul, it would either be too repetitive of S1, or pale in contrast. If he hadn't, and things had just continued, it would have been too open ended. So I think this was an appropriate ending, and I'm already excited for the next season. (assuming there will be one.) EDIT: although it does make me sad how coldly Ciel is treating our poor Sebby ;u; |

I don't know how many times I've said this but ... I want to see a happy healthy Sebastian again... |

(And if this is true, Sebastian's game is not really over yet :D Or Ciel is going to have pity on Sebastian and daily feed him with his blood forever... and Sebastian would have the same reaction as Claude when he licked Ciel's blood XD so that would be a happy ending because he would taste Ciel's soul every day forever!) |

| I thought Kuroshitsuji's concept is like: demon make contracts with little boys, demon fulfills boy's wishes, then demon eats boy... :/ ...So what happened to that?? That's the reason I decided to watch this anime, is because I like the concept...but what happened to that?? D: lol I'm so confused! o>_<o Sebastian not getting his happy ending is what kills me :( the producers went through all the trouble to make a story about a demon fulfilling a boy's wishes in exchange for his soul, when in the end, Sebastian. didn't. get. the freakin' soul! Seriously! I should feel happy for there may be a season 3, but idk anymore lol..the story's all over the place :( |
