| AMAZING episode, these are going by way too fast... I had a strong suspicion Reiner was Armored Titan based on the look, but was not expecting Berthold's involvement at all; certainly not as the Colossal Titan! Overpowered much? Can't wait for the fight next week! |

| So I was right about a few things, interesting. No speculation from me this time. Just a bit of anger because the previous episode's teaser for this episode showed Eren transforming, so I was getting hype for seeing him go postal, only to get teased a second time in a row. It's genuinely very frustrating waiting for the next episode, especially as someone whose favorite character in this lineup is Eren. |
| I'm not a manga reader but I knew Reiner was the armored titan for quite a long time. But the annoying thing is that I found out Bertholdt was the colossal titan just 2 weeks ago. I'm so mad at myself I mean for like 3 or 4 years I had no idea who he was and I just ruined everything by googling Reiner x Bertholdt I'm such an idiot lmao Okay back to point. That was an amazing episode! I felt so bad for Betholdt, he seemed like he didn't want to do it. And when he cried..gosh poor guy :( Can't wait for next week. |

Nanda kore wa?!  Finally, I know which person(s) is the Colossal Titan and the Armored Titan. I’m going to be honest I didn’t think I got the chance to see/know their identity so early in this game of survival and this chapters explain all of the clues/hints behind their suspicious behavior (at least one of them) and I have to say I didn’t saw them at the time... Kudos to the author/Mangaka for this superb title! |

| Was this really a shocker to anime watchers only? I can't imagine viewers really not figuring out Reiner and Bert were both titans. I always found it funny how causal and nonchalant Reiner was when telling Eren the truth. Now watching it in the anime is even funnier LMAO The academy awards goes to...... Reiner & Bertolt! Ever since the beginning I could never grow to like Mikasa, she is really annoying. |

While watching it, I also realized why Reiner wanted Eren to come to their hometown, but I won't mention that here bc it might spoiler those who are only watching the anime and are not yet updated with the manga and also not to stray away from the main topic. CGI hyped for the next epsiode!!! Although I really wish they kept the original CGI for the Colossal Titan in 2D like in season 1, but still so hyped!!! \o/ Too bad Levi didn't get to speak in this episode, but it's still a good thng to see his face every once in a while <3 |

| I laughed the hardest when Reiner just went as nonchalantly as he could, "Hey, I'm the Armored Titan. Betholdt's the Colossal Titan, and yeah we're just gonna destory humanity and take you with us." It was hilarious just reading it in the manga (of couse with shock) but hearing the voice actor just say it was the BEST. I love how he changed the tone in Reiner's voice as he began to get more crazy with it. Poor Bertholdt though, I've always seen him as just in there for the hell of it, and he was so shocked and was even crying. Mikasa was so ready to kill them, and went from a pure "I'm really angry right now" to a "I'M GOING TO MURDER YOU RIGHT NOW". Also, I see comments on the CGI Colossal Titan and tbh, it doesn't bother me a lot. I agree it looked a lot better in season 1, but I'd still enjoy the anime even with the difference in the Colossal Titan. I can't wait for the next episode (: |
| O my fucking god! I knew what was coming up but I still got CHILLS! Damnit, they handled this episode so good. That music, that selection of camera angles, that tension, everything was so well executed!!! Was waiting for this episode to be animated for so long and I'm very satisfied. I watched it with my bro (who doesn't follow the manga and didn't know what was coming) and he was shocked lol! |
| Now that's how you make a plot twist! It was so nonchalant and out of nowhere that I couldn't believe it at first. I really thought Reiner was going crazy, at least until I saw the look in Mikasa's face. I like the direction this season is taking. Right now I think it's already as good as the last one, and still half the episodes to go. But now I have to wonder (rhetorical question, please don't answer): who's NOT a titan in this show? EDIT: reflecting back now, Eren and Armin were exchanging a lot of strange looks while talking to Reiner in the begining of the episode. I thought that was weird but didn't pay much attention. Boy was that good writing! |

| I'm an anime-only viewer but somehow found out long ago who the armored and collasal titans were. So I was not shocked by the content of this episode, at least not where it concerns the revelation. I was, however, shocked by the manner of the reveal. Knowing what I knew, I saw the heavy-handed clues being dropped about Reiner and figured his reveal was coming to a head. But when he began speaking so directly and so calmly about it all to Eren, I was flabbergasted. I had to rewind to see if I had read the subtitles correctly. I expected a big, dramatic reveal, especially for two such crucial titans. So this really, really shocked me. That said, I think it was fucking brilliant! The complete lack of dramatic effect during the reveal somehow made it a million times more dramatic! I was holding my breath, hanging on every word, every expression, every sound. It's like how someone who is very quiet when they're angry is more frightening than someone who yells. This scene gave me that same feeling of utter stillness, of complete paralysis of emotion. There is no way that a writer of this caliber did that as a shortcut or anything other than pure genius for reasons I have yet to fully understand. I didn't pick up on Reiner having a personality disorder but it was clear that he was struggling with something. Since I knew he was the armored titan, I looked for clues as to whether HE knew he was and I honestly couldn't tell. I suppose that could be called part of a personality disorder. That wasn't super obvious to me. But it's clear to me that Eren is the only one who didn't know he was a titan and he's the anomoly in that regard. I'm a little unsure about Eren's initial reaction to Reiner's revelation. It doesn't seem plausible that he'd be in denial. Not only is that not true to his character but it doesn't really make sense in the situation. I think maybe he was trying to diffuse the situation so that he could get them underground like he was supposed to. Their reaction to his supposed disbelief also doesn't seem to match simple disbelief. I have more questions than answers but am more excited than ever to go about getting those answers. I'm going to go watch this episode again. |

| That was a good cliffhanger. Gotta be honest I was about to flip it when I saw ONCE AGAIN the "this many hours ago" thing, but I'm glad that it was actually a good sequence. The shitty CG Colossal was either made like that because of time restrictions or they just said "won't make much difference in sales anyway so let's go with cheaper/easier to make CG". Also, it sucks pretty bad that we already know from the PV that Eren is gonna get his ass kicked pretty badly --if not, lose against Armored Titan. |
