| The best episode to date.. Didn't expect to see some "feels" moment in OPM and Mumen Rider was awesome.. My eyes teared a bit when i heard his speech and the crowd started to support him, too bad he defeated by a single blow :/ Then Saitama comes to the rescue.. glad he finished him but what actually happen next is surprised me a bit.. Big respect to Saitama and f**c you NEET.. hope he got killed or something in the later of the story, lel.. and in the end Saitama got a promotion and the last scene with Mumen Rider also pretty nice to see, guess they are respecting each other after this incident.. So it's seems that the episode after this supposed to be a well known Boros arc huh.. since a lot of people hype it up, i'll looking forward to see it.. 5/5 |

| Wow this was amazing. I kinda felt bad for laughing when mumen rider was all worked up with his emotional speech, getting cheered up by everyone & the guy was just blasted away by sea king. Tho I seriously dont get the complaints about this week's animations, BECAUSE THE ANIMATION WAS AMAZING. The wacky art coupled with constant camera rotation and angles plus awesome choreography, wow It was faboulous. Or did people already forget kameda's style from episode 1? |

| Not surprisingly, it turns out that Saitama is ultimately the one to defeat the big, bad boss with one punch. Unfortunately, how he responds to the crowd when he hears a heckler only helps to reinforce the image that he's a cheater taking the credit for other heroes' work. He even gets a "fan" letter telling him just that. But the scene where he gets the letter has already created a meme on the internet. However, I don't think Saitama has made the best of decisions when he makes comments that make him look like a cheater. I know he's trying to protect the reputation of the other heroes, but I'm not sure the way he's going about it is the best way to handle it. But Saitama still gets an important reward for defeating this latest enemy, and it leads him to an unexpected encounter with Mumen Rider. I suspect that this will ultimately lead to these two heroes becoming friends. |

I think there is some confusion. Of course the styles are very different. That may be by necessity given what the two shows are about. I see it more as a parallel example of high quality, fluid art/animation than something to compare OPM to. Hence, "don't let that take away from OPM." But with specific regard to Hibike! Euphonium, yes, "you have to make it fluid and shiny with good art." However, I don't think you'll find many studios that have done that sort of scene as well as KyoAni did. Likewise, you won't find many studios implementing the amount of shifting art styles and detail Madhouse put into the fight scenes of this episode of OPM, or the entire show for that matter. |

I am taking nothing away from OPM (as a matter of fact, it's one of my favourites from this season, and probably would easily make my top 10 for entire calendar year). I just thought I should mention that art and animation can be achieved hand in hand. Hunter x Hunter (2011) is a prime example of what can be achieved, and it's from Madhouse as well. The main constraint for panning action scenes is budget. If someone wants to know more about it, they should watch Gintama or Shirobako. Haters gonna hate because most of their favourite studios would never match what KyoAni achieved over the past few years. The animation I shared in the quote received a lot of attention from professional animators from studios around Japan in twitter, some even saying Kyoani achieved something impossible. Most of the best panning animations I have seen are from KyoAni, rest are from Madhouse and Sunrise Inc. But let me just stop here. | I have always liked Mumen (License-less) Rider since his introduction in the manga. He is a Heroes Hero. This episode was great. Saitama was even disappointed in his fight with the Sea King...LMAO The thing with Saitama sacrificing his popularity started in episode 7 but really came full circle in this episode. Mumen rider sending a letter and treating Saitama to a meal was very cool. Liked it in the manga, really feel like the captured the essence of the scene in the anime. All Aboard!!! The hype train for Saitama vs. Lord Boros will be leaving the station shortly. |

Because he is the true hero it will be easy for him to overcome. Other Heroes need their Hero job where it is still a hobby for Saitama even though he is part of the hero association. Saitama really did make the best decision in that instance even if it worked against his popularity with the regular populous, he is gaining credibility with the other heroes. Which do you think is more important?? If you were paying attention even Mask took notice of Saitama this episode. Prepare yourself friend for Saitama's hero harem!!! |
