I just today started the Maximum Ride series! I've heard a lot of great things about the books and decided to read it. MAN is it good!
Other books I recommend are Percy Jackson, Shiver, and the Harry Potter series. You can't go wrong with any of these books ^.^

Finished Murakami's Norwegian Wood this weekend. It was godly.
Yesss, Murakami is boss. Can't wait for the Norwegian Wood movie.

Speaking of which, I think it's about time I picked up another Murakami novel. I think "A Wild Sheep Chase" will be next.

I'm going through Harry Turtledove's Settling Accounts series, about anything that man writes is golden. Amazing storytelling.

I love Harry Turtledove! Haven't read enough of his work, though. I still need to read In At the Death, though.

I'm rereading Dragonsbane by Barbara Hambly. My favorite fantasy novel. :)

I just finished reading "A Wizard of Earthsea" by Ursula K. Le Guin

I decided to watch it because I saw the monstrosity of an anime that was Tales from Earthsea. I thought it was bad before the books, but it's even worse now. I loved the book more than I thought I would, but it was a tad...predictable? Not in a bad way, just I think I was expecting something a bit more deep. Also you practically have to memorize the maps, but maybe that's just me.

I just started "The Farthest Shore", which is the third book in the series. -_- How annoying. I thought "The Farthest Shore" came before "The Tombs of Atuan". Ah well. It's still a good read and already looking better then the first book.

I finished all my magazines and tomorrow I'll go back to "Only Revolutions"

Meanwhile, I was really bored waiting for class yesterday, so I went to a book shop and bought a book: "Rainbow" by Banana Yoshimoto. I mainly bought it because it was written by someone called Banana. It is really short and eay to read, so much that I finished it already, and it was really pleasant too. Very delicate, I hope I can read more from this author in the future.

The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood
The Gardner by S.A. Bodeen

And really, there are a lot more. I might quit the Atwood book because it wasn't what I thought it'd be (which is a shame, really, because I loved The Year of the Flood and Oryx and Crake.) The Gardner is what I'm reading currently.

Only Revolutions is pretty good. The majority of the passages are really, um, "smutty", but it's still pretty good.

I just finished The Fellowship of the Ring for the first time too! Isn't it wonderful? :D Have you found that the further you read, the more amazing the movie seems?

I'm currently reading The Two Towers for the first time, and it's just incredible! After having watched all of the LOTR movies approx. 15 times, the books have officially joined Harry Potter and Twilight on the list of "only fiction books which have managed to hold my attention long enough to read all the way through" :D

just finished 'The left hand of God'. very good book and only cost £3 from ASDA, whereas my previous book 'Boneshaker' cost £14 and was terrible.

So yeah If your looking for a good book try The Left Hand of God.

I've just started Long Time Coming, might be good, although I prefer the escapism of sci-fi and fantasy.

That book is amazing.
And a pretty easy and fast read too.

Hm right now, I'm mostly reading Through a Glass Darkly by Karleen Koen.
Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister is also on my bedside table so I pick it up from time to time.
I still really have to finish the last twenty pages in HP 7, but I can't be bothered to do so.

Today I was uber bored in the library, tired of studying, so I decided to start a book there: The Year of the Death of Ricardo Reis, by José Saramago. Really fun so far, but a bit wordy - even for Saramago.

Meanwhile Only Revolutions is getting more interesting now that I got the hang of turning the book up and down as I read it. As far as I understand the book is conceived with the sole objective of being able to be read in any direction. Besides that, the "eternally young" concept does not seem so eternal, but that's probably because writing on the Present Tense in Portuguese is common and not a "literary taboo". It still has a lot of words I have no idea what they mean, which just means my English is worse than what I tought.

I just started Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. I got the wrong copy from the library, though. Since there's no annotations in my edition, I'll be missing out on all of the good ol' literary analysis/devices/deliciousness because I'm too stupid to pick it out myself.

Finished Saramago, it was really interesting and I loved the whole environment of the story. It was almost like Eça, but not being Eça. :3

And finally, FINALLY, I finished Only Revolutions. They are not 16 forever. They are 16 now.

Will now start reading "The Sands of Time - A Hermux Tantamoq Adventure" by Michael Hoeye. I just love these books.
