| Once again I will say that I don't mind the CGI at all. I can argue that the episode can still be decent despite it's downsides and yes the CGI does look like crap but it's not really the main focus of the episode, Ainz as well as Gazeef and the armies are important to the episode and considering what we are given in terms of content it was good. I think the tentacle monsters with the mouths looked quite hideous in a good way because they are meant to be abominations that Ainz Ool Gown summoned and it was pretty dreadful to see all these soldiers running away and then getting massacred thanks said monsters on the battlefield. Which shows how much of a badass Ainz can be I mean we've seen him do badass things but still it's just an incredible feat to just take out whole squadrons that were lining up to face him only to be killed on the spot. It's terrible but incredible at the same time. And it looks like a duel is gonna happen with Gazeef. Now we truly see a battle of former allies pitting against each other for the finale. I can't wait to see what happens next. |
| Honestly, this episode was crazy. I feel like it's just as crazy as episode 8. Well I'm still looking forward to Ainz destroying the empire anyway. The emperor asked his gramps to beheaded a random noble to be a scapegoat, right? (the head he gave to Ainz in the previous episode) Also that blonde emperor thought that Ainz could only kill about five thousand people and would "fight" him with his intelligence... maybe this is too arrogant to say, but Ainz has Demiurge by his side as a very intelligent and strategic being. Demiurge even knows plans for the future that Ainz himself never knew lol. I hope the imperial representative who was beside Ainz earlier told his superiors about what he saw and not to try anything silly... because they are not yet, or not even, an equal opponent to Ainz. I'm relieved to see that Raeven survived. If I had to pick one normal character that I like the most here then it would be him. A smart and charming nobleman and a lovely father. And Gazef challenged Ainz. Wow. Gazef is one of the strongest characters here. I honestly don't think Ainz will actually kill him because Ainz seems to respect him enough, but who knows... |

| Lol now I get it why rating is low. That horrendous animation and CGI is preposterous. This could've been one of best ep of overlord but was turned into dumbpost by madhouse. Fuck this shit studio. They never did justice to overlord. |
