I hope this series turns into an ecchi comedy full of black humor. It would be a massive improvement over the first 5 episodes and I'd get to read more reactions like those. I hope you're being sarcastic, if not, that's sad. The first 5 episodes were very good and had an atmosphere I never encountered in any anime i've watched, it felt unique. None of the characters were annoying like the girl in this episode, no useless and cringeworthy fan-service that only a 15 y/o would appreciate. All of that was lost with the 6th episode, that's why I'm very annoyed and disappointed. The humor was very poor (maybe i'm too old for that kind of thing, who knows) and seeing how it started I wasn't expecting that from this anime at all, it just felt wrong. Maybe i'm overreacting, but i'm really tired of that. Just when I thought I had found a good psychological anime with interesting characters, I get slapped in the face. |

| I didn't like this episode that much, I get it that it was a comedy ep and we were supposed to laugh but didn't really make sense in the end. Did anyone got sent to void/ reincarnation?....If they wanted a comedy death parade they should have make a separate omake.... |

| This episode was really...different? The tone was a little back and forth between being kind of creepy/intense with Ginti's more sadistic kind of personality and being silly. The Twister game wasn't as entertaining as some of the other games, and the background stories weren't quite as engaging. However, I still enjoyed the episode. Next week looks like more plot development, so I'm excited for that! |

In animes like this one, more than one episode of fanservice would actually ruin the series. Get this straight, it's not an ecchi anime. It's time for a wall of text: Death Parade panders to edgy teens who think that having an emotionless protagonist and dead people means that this is a deep, mature series for adults. DP has ridiculous amounts of infodumps which insult the viewer's intelligence (episode 2) or are straight up bad (like in episode 5, when Nona tells Decim things he already knows so that the dumb audience can understand what's going on). You just need to watch Death Billiards to realize that dividing people into "good" and "bad" is already a flawed concept in itself. Add the fact that the whole putting the characters through psychological and physical torture, or even threatening to kill them, is manipulation in order to create a forced reaction that should not matter when judging people. Add the cherry on top, the fact that the arbiters are ridiculously unfit for their job, being unable to understand human emotion, and you have one hell of a shitty premise, which is still not being addressed as "horrible and nonsensical" 6 episodes into the series. Consider the horrible character introductions, like the old man's, complete with eeeeeevil laughter and painfully obvious metaphores like "we are playing with the entire woooooorld", referring to the pool game, or Ginti's, who was part of the dumbest and most overcomplicated testing mechanism for arbiters that could have ever been created. Or the action scene, which had no tension since he's targeting Onna, who can't die, and since it is never established whether arbiters can't die or not, we don't even know if we should care for them. I suppose they can't, since Ginti recieves no punishment even though he attempted to murder Decim. Not to mention that the whole "she's just a human!!! why are you helping her?" is a boring clichè. Let's not forget the "deep" side-stories like the one about the thread from episode 5, and the kids' book, which add nothing to the story so far. Why are you surprised that someone may enjoy a parody episode like this one more than the rest? It was not meant to be taken seriously, the "sacrifice" part was so clichè it was hilarious, and the death scenes were pure gold. At the end, instead of pretending to care about the destiny of the characters' souls, I could laugh at a cheesy idol performance. The fanservice served as a funny contrast with the previous episodes, it was not meant to be sexually stimulating or obscene. It fit with this episode's atmosphere. People who still complain for a pantyshot or two are not "mature and adult". |

| Ginti's reaction to it all was just priceless. Any chances of them going to the void is quite low. That woman was a little annoying because of her obsession with that C.H.A. crap. That performance in the end was hilariously awful. |
| Mayu has to be one of the most annoying characters I've seen in ages. Anyway the episode was okay I guess. I like Ginti as an character.. He is much more full of hatred comparing to emotionalless Decim XD I'd rather follow the story of Decim and Onna though. |

| Haha, quite a funny episode! We see Ginti in action and he's completely different from Decim :P ALSO MAMORU WAS HARADA!!! Man his voice I knew it right away :P I do understand Mayu finally meeting her idol after all this time ... too bad they're both already dead (though at the end it didn't really seem like they cared lol). Funny scene at the end XD So interesting game with quite a bit of fanservice ... like Harada breaking out of that ice LOL XD Then we have Mayu dying from slipping on soap and Harada getting a revenge bomb?! O_O That's pretty intense lol. Didn't really expect Mayu to sacrifice herself (though it was to save herself from humiliation) and then Harada to save her ... well, I guess they both changed a little bit? :O Although I was kinda like Ginti and was like "what the heck are these people doing" XD Looks like next episode will be back to the usual stuff. Excited for it! |

I always have thought that these two mask on the top of elevators always represented where one certain person would go after they have judged at Decim's place. If we look back older episodes we can clearly see that; at the end of episode when these people who judged in this place placed at elevators we also see the mask above the elevator and these mask kind of give us hint where they might be heading off. So I always thought that devil mask is the representation of hell or in other words void and the other one is the vice versa. So at the start of the episode Mayu came from the elevator which had devil mask on the top of it. I wonder if having masks above the elevator before they come to this place affects their judgement after they have judged by Decim or other arbitrers. However clearly this guy have is at wrong here; treating woman like a tool and never even considered the feelings of his fans until the last moment even after death but Mayu's heroic action is what made him come to his senses. He was also feeling guilty due to his fans/lovers death too so I am not sure what to think of their cases if we think about this episode in a serious manner even though it's more like comic relief episode due to Mayu and yeah Mayu I can't see anything other than innocent air-head girl who is fan of some idol group. If she has devil mask then I am expecting to see more serious background story from her in the upcoming episodes since she is also in the OP too but I just can't see why would Harada go to heaven or being reincarnated again. I guess if they come to their senses at this place then does it mean they have chance to go heaven? Think about the first original movie "Death Billards" where old man went to hell and the other crazy guy reincarnated due to old man's will... I like this show because how ambigious it can get sometimes. They leave the last judgement to their viewers while they don't see where these people went off at the end of every or some episodes. edit: sorry there was 15 long pages so I didnt broserwed all pages so if someone already explained or made comment on this issue then I'd be happy if you guys just quote those messages for me. | This anime is great at pulling anything off really. GOD I love all of the characters so much. Mayu and Ginti seem like a great team and I love the little Clavis appearance at the end. :D But I don't think Harada's in the opening so I wonder where he's gonna go?? I hope Mayu is a regular like the opening depicts her - she skyrocketed to my favorite character. Even how she died was funny. |

Though it seems a bit extreme just as revenge for the sister who committed suicide. Too bad the girl didn't see he wanted to kick her off. Still falling for it right before the end. Well I guess the end was funny even though he's a dick. |
| Lmao, best episode so far. It had the perfect balance between comedy and seriousness, i especially liked how they showed Mayu and Harada's tears connecting. Mayu's pretty much the definition of a fangirl, but maybe she does truly love him. Can't believe she died by a soap slip. Can't believe he died by being bombed in his hotel room. It looks like Ginti's bar isn't like Decim's, but i didn't understand what's its purpose, none of them went to the Void/for reincarnation, so what was the point of the game? Oh well, still very enjoyable. Loved how Ginti hated that performance at the end. 5/5 |
