Do you? It's kind of hard to differentiate between your 'honest' opinions and hyperbole when you 'honestly' encourage/endorse some of the things you've talked about across the forums.

What have I honestly endorsed that was so bad?

Saying that anime objectifies women is just as bad as saying that shooting games make you violent.

I voted yes, but I find most media objectifies women. Though it feels different in anime. In anime it feels more like it comes from deep seeded roots in tradition. Stay at home wife and a salary man husband.

I think we need to make the distinction between casual flattery and objectifying to the point of insulting. Or rather, recognize this is a medium selling looks, but at what point does the selling become too much. Whichever. Writing quality also plays a part in this, since a poorly realized character will just come across as a collection of desirable traits and little else, while you can very well have a sexy, classy and still well-written lead (Kuroyukihime from Accel World comes to mind), where the appearance is part of them instead of the other way around.

Indeed. Just because I like killing people in Grand Theft Auto, doesn't mean I want to go kill people in real life. That's just silly, and it's the same thing here.

These people also don't want to kill others.

Yeah... no. It's the same as saying shooting games ARE violent. Which is true.
How/If that influences people is another question, but shooting games ARE violent and a lot of anime ARE sexist/objectifiying women. There's a whole fandom based around that objectification (or what else would you call dakimakuras for example? A literal objectification of a lot of the female characters in anime.) Japan as a whole is a fairly sexist society so it's not surprising either.
I probably regret this post by now.

Anime objectifies both men and women. I have contacted a feminist group and they are writing a letter to AT (Akira Toriyama) addressing the objectification of men in DBZ. AT should be drawing morbidly obese and super thin men saving the world not muscular guys who usually have their shirts off.

That only seems to work for muscular guys when it comes to DBZ. AT's objectification of men needs to stop or I riot.

yes it does objectify all women but I don't really care

I'm already sick off all these feminists especially in regards to video games and tv shows ughh

thank god the japanese are different
we can have hot girls with large boobs and big asses everywhere and almost no one bitches hopefully it will stay that way

anime just like other mediums is supposed to entertain but some people just take it way too seriously

kinda this, although I wouldn't really call it really objectifying, it's just that every healthy dude prefers to look at girls that are cute and hot, so there's no need for them not to be.
it's the same with guys in anime for girls

Is that sexist? Objectifying something isn't really sexist. The problem is that ugly ass people get upset when they see someone better looking than them.

I see why feminists cry sexism whenever they see half-naked women. They're jealous because most of them are fat and fugly as shit, so they get mad when they see an actual beautiful woman.

We're living in a world where no one wants to face reality. Everyone and everything is beautiful. We can be tolerant and intolerant at the same time. If we keep walking with our eyes closed we're eventually going to walk off the cliff.

Not in the least. Lack of knowledge is the only thing that can objectify anyone. Saying anime objectifies women is the same as saying guns kill people. Someone has to be behind the trigger.
Like that two year old who killed his own mother by shooting her to death in an accident just recently? Yeah. That kid must have wanted to kill her so badly. Evil as fuck. Hitler 2.0 probably.
Your example agrees with what I said. The two year old's lack of knowledge of what a gun is and can do, as well as the parents lack of knowledge of how to properly store dangerous tools led to that whole accident. Teaching and understanding are infinitely more useful than censorship, and always will be.

Yet accidents always happen no matter how well you teach the people who are interested in actually learning. Would you make the same argument if we were talking about mini-nukes that could blow up a house? It's safe as long as people know how to handle it you know... Why not make the risk as small as possible instead? Let the ones who really need to own a gun own a gun (collector, sport, hunting etc etc) and let the mothers with their babies walk the streets without a gun.

Bombs have one purpose, guns do not. Yes, I would always make the case that teaching and understanding is the best solution because no solution is 100%, it's about picking the best one. In the specific case you brought up the mother should have never been sold the gun if she didn't know how to store it properly and clearly wasn't aware of where the gun was at all times like you're suppose to be as taught by gun safety. The thing about outlawing guns for those who don't have reason to own one is that everyone has a very legitimate reason to own them, self defense.
