| The most tedious thing about it, is the clicking, and the amount of excessive and frankly useless information, especially in regarding to the characters's mundane and trivial thoughts. The VN medium just doesn't appeal to me, I've tried getting into 5 different VNs, best I could do was G Senjou Maou, 2 hours worth of play. Maybe one of those days, but even then I will try to read the fate route, since UBW is covered and Heaven feels will have a movie. |

But for the original VN, yeah you make certain choices to change routes (only after unlocking them) |

Letting her finish the attack progresses into Fate route, while stopping her goes into UBW route. After finishing UBW, if you have enough Sakura points before Day 4 (iirc) which could be acquired by spending time with her, game automatically goes into HF route. |

The focus and plot progression is completely different than Fate zero......FSN as never been a death game......It's about Shirou and his ideals told from three different perspectives........Yes,the animation of the fights in present 2014 one can mislead you to think of it as a FZ 2 a.k.a death game but FSN is always more focused on character development.Granted certain characters get more development than others in every route..... |

| The war IS taken seriously in F/SN. The difference is that FSN puts priority on Shirou's ideals rather than the war itself. Also, add in the fact that Shirou doesn't want the Grail so he doesn't take ''winning the war at all costs'' thing as seriously as Kiritsugu who wanted the Grail. As for the characters, they all get their focus throughout the three routes. Every character gets his/her focus in at least one or two routes. They are a lot more fleshed out than Zero's characters quite honestly. |

| Quite honestly, Kerry is the one only one who took ''winning the war and getting the Grail'' thing more seriously than Shirou did which is obvious why. Stay Night Masters took it as seriously as Zero Masters. |
