| I assume Yukari saw mei right before she died in a pretty gruesome way. That scene is hard for me to look at and sad for her.:( The rest of the class is officially on death watch.lol. I think this episode is the "go" episode i was looking for. |

| Christ, I actually felt some pain in my own throat watching that ending. I am not going to be able to use an umrella ever again for the rest of my life... I liked the show from the start already, and it just keeps getting better. Excellent ride so far, waiting impatiently for more! |
| Everyone is jumping too much into conclusion that because J.C. staff is doing it. It's gonna end up badly. It hasn't even started it. Give them a chance at least. And when the time comes and they actually ruin it. We can all go to Japan, go to J.C. staff and burn their offices. I'll pay for the trip lol - alpha69 about the Little Busters! anime. |

| It was obvious why the umbrella fell down like that, opened and stood pointed at her, but the thing that sucked was the physic in her fall. She clearly slipped and somehow tripped while slipping, because her fall was the result of tripping, not slipping. If she slipped then her butt would have a third hole, not her neck. I find that part ridiculous. The fact that she fell down and pierced her neck was the kind of screenplay I hoped this anime wouldn't have, but oh well, better this than kids killing each other like in Higurashi. I just hope that they'll fix the physics. Even physics in Gundam are more realistic. Also, I had a chance to slip just like she did, and all that happened was my ass bouncing downstairs :< |

| Kinda expected more under Misaki's eyepatch after the troll cliffhanger from last week, but still pretty creepy... And talk about a f*cked up way to die. If she didn't break her neck from falling down the stairs, the umbrella through the throat was just horrible. Her body twitching afterwards made me cringe a little... :S |

| hmm I found the first part still pretty boring, though de dolls really freak me out.. I was also guessing that Mei would just kill them all so the killer umbrella was pretty unsuspected :'] but I was pretty shocked seeing her die :x (didn't expect it either cause I was already guessing for 2 eps that the nurse would die :']) I think she saw Mei too, don't think she'd be that scared to see the main guy.. but she seemed in a hurry when she left the classroom.. I wonder why there was an exam sheet on Mei's desk if "she doesn't exist" I hope the order in the ED isn't the dying order, I don't want to see the brown haired guy die as third :( (but I'm guessing that if it's the dying order, the main guy is already died (cause you see him first) and everyone joins him x-x Still who's the girl that stands outside the window? Cause it looks like she made it out alive.. xD |

| I am glad I was able to stop myself from reading manga after chapter 3..... This was a surprise. I am wondering what is the rest of the story... @Bren About your question "why there was an exam sheet on Mei's desk?" Well these are my thoughts about that... Maybe because of what happened 26 years ago (Misaki showing on the picture) they now that she is always around so they act like she is still there. Also I think what she said about Sakaki being only one able to see her is not true. When he ran towards the roof guy that was with him looked up and made a strange face, also scene with Yukari makes me think, what if she can see her too. What if everyone can see her, and they all simply ignore her because if her name... To many questions, my brain hurts, can't.....wait.... for.... ne.... xt.... episode...... @King of noodles "Mei is super cute... and her voice actress is doing a fantastic job. The quiet and emotionless voice. Sometimes gives me shivers just listening to her talk." Well I don't find it creepy. It is quite interesting, and I couldn't help but agree that voice actress is awesome... For other that think that thing with umbrella is not possible. You are mistaken... I have some experience with this crazy stuff and I did similar experiments about probability of some things that look almost impossible (don't ask me why). Although chances are very small, this is not impossible. Umbrella doesn't have to balance to much, since it can happen that you fall on it at the same time as it lands, so your own body weight will pin down umbrella, and since they clearly showed that top was very sharp, like a needle, force needed for this doesn't have to be that great, although she slipped strangely but this is anime... That's all I had to say. I might send this for umbrella to mythbusters, it would make a nice experiment... |

| Great episode. I think everyone will see Misaki before they die. Eventually, only the main character lives on. Shocking ending, but great. I do think you guys overreact though, it wasn't that gore. |
| this was a great episode, they did really well with the last scene i actually felt a little sick, that is unusual. my expectations of this anime is rising sky high, and before watching this episode i thought it was going to be rubbish, wow |

This is a discussion about episode 3, which means, If you haven't watched it you shouldn't come to this topic :D As I said chances are slim, but it is possible. I even put this on mythbusters site :D Also they don't clearly show the trajectory of the umbrella. Also it looks like umbrella opened at the moment it hit the ground, probably from the force of impact... |

I like your theory, though I'm not that sure Yukari saw Misaki's ghost. I'm pretty sure everyone can see Mei, but they're deliberately ignoring her up to the date of Misaki's death 26 years earlier. Hence the 'I'll tell you in a month' and those countermeasures. So she's a scapegoat, and probably there have been others in the years before as well. Now if there really is a curse, and Misaki's ghost is involved, than she might have died during that schooltrip. Cause I think the change in dates for the schooltrip must have it's reason, and the circumstances about her death are very unclear. I don't think Misaki died during a schooltrip since her classmates were alive. Probably in the later years, whenever Class 3 go to a school trip they all end up dead cause of an accident, then maybe the same event happened 2 or 3 times more after the first school trip incident so they had to move the school trip in 8th grade. Also, here's a question If you were a top student with high academic grades and excellent athletic skills, and suddenly your life was taken away before even graduating. Then your classmates acted as if you were still alive and didn't wanna accept the cruel reality that happened to you. And they insisted on keeping up the act up until graduation. What would you feel? |

| lol @piperz well i'm glad i didn't read through all the comments. And well that's what I was thinking, about the ending, but it would be too obvious now. But i'm really sad now, I really liked that girl, she was nice. I also don't like the main character, he's too slow to realize what's going on. anywaysi also think the megane girl saw mei before she ran to the stairs. But then the megane boy saw her too, i think. So why would mei mention that what if sakakibara was the only one who could see her. ?? Well this is a big time mystery anime so I will definitely keep watching, mostly because I want to find out what's going on. Would have been better if the lead was a female :D. Anyways well can't wait for next episode and the one after that...and so on. And about the whole thing with the twin tails girl, recognizing him but now know from where that also took out my curiosity even more. |

| Sweet episode :D. Though I accidently looked it up before I saw the ep so I knew it was gonna happen.Luckily I haven't seen past this. I like the pacing of this anime. Those dolls are really pretty although they're kinda creepy lol. |
