There's a lot to go over, so let's get started.
Firstly, I didn't expect so many flashbacks to key moments from the previous seasons. I thought we were going to see some off screen stuff, like with Sero's flashback. Regardless, I like how each one called out to Deku, no matter how much Deku tried to run away from them. Class 1-A truly showed what they'll do for the sake of a friend. Deku also showcased how powerful he has become. He broke out of Ragnarok with ease, and Shoto's signature move, Heaven-Piercing Ice Wall.
However, because of the combined efforts of the entire class, they were finally able to grab Deku and hold onto him.
Even so, Deku wasn't convinced, so Bakugo had to come in and talk to him. Before I go over that, I like how we see that Bakugo's Hero Name is actually Great Explosion Murder God: Dyanmight. I thought it was Dynamite. For those who watch the Sub, you wouldn't get it. But it's a great omage to All Might without ripping him off (like the hero names Deku came up with when he was a kid).
I'm glad that Kirishima figured out that the kid he heard about who ran in to save his friend was Deku all along. That was so heartwarming to hear to then lead to the things Bakugo said... LET'S GO!
That conversation between Deku and Bakugo was something. It reminded me of the final fight between Naruto and Sasuke when it flashes back to the different versions of Deku and Bakugo throughout the series. That was such an artistic and symbolic way of showcasing the dramatic changes between the two. And... BAKUGO REFERRING TO DEKU BY HIS NAME, IZUKU, FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME IN THE ENTIRE SERIES SO FAR. HE ALSO GOT TO APOLOGIZE TO DEKU FOR ALL THE BULLYING IN THEIR PAST. Deku believes that all of his classmates have far passed him, but I think they've just started to catch up. They picked up his heroic tendencies.
However, the refugees at UA refuse to accept Deku and only care about their hides. Bro, HE'S A 16 YEAR OLD KID. HAVE A HEART! Deku tries to walk away, but Uravity, and the rest of Class 1-A won't allow it!
