| Another great arc for the Monogatari franchise, with an awesome theme around the loss of humanity. Also Ononoki is one more time a baby. |
Probably the best epilogue due to the surprise entry of Senjougahara. They totally banged, right? |

| Took me a week to finish this which is honestly too long for a 4 episode series, but shit happened so that’s how things went down lol, the important thing is I finished it, and this was a great one. I’ve always found Ononoki to be one of the most interesting and most unique characters of this series which already has a lot of unique characters, so having an arc focused on her was really nice, it’s just a shame it took till the final episode to really get that focus as Kagenui kinda shared her screen time when she was there, but I still really liked what we got. I think I’m satisfied just on the amount of different visuals we got for Ononoki when she was talking to Araragi in this episode, so many great looking scenes that they absolutely didn’t have to do but they did, I’m very thankful for the love this series gets by Shaft, Tsukimonogatari looked amazing in general. And as for the climax to the arc, the confrontation with Tadatsuru wasn’t quite as wild as I was hoping but it was very cool as everything the guy said was pretty telling of what’s actually going on, I don’t want to go into too much detail as I could be way off the mark but let’s just say Ougi’s presence in this episode wasn’t a coincidence, as it never is anytime she appears lol. And Tadatsuru didn’t even make it out of this arc as Ononoki blasted his ass, I’m glad he got her to bring the “posed look” thing back tho lol, and it’s possible he comes back like Kaiki did before but I think Kaiki’s situation was a lot more survivable than this so I doubt we see him again. And it appeared Ononoki was being taken from Araragi much like Nadeko and Hachikuji before, but she reappeared at the end in her usual doll-like fashion, I’m very interested in how Tsukihi won her with just three coins lol, but I’m very happy to see she’s not going anywhere, no way they’d get rid of the funniest character. And not only that but we also got a short bit with Senjougahara, I thought it was very cute giving the Valentine’s Day timing and how they ended that scene, I think we all know where that was going lol. And that is all for this arc, I think I preferred Hanamonogatari’s story more over this one but I did still like this one a lot, and that OP and ED are certainly favorites of mine as well, if this is the only OP sung by Ononoki’s VA Saori Hayami then it’s a crime as she killed it, all the songs I’ve heard from her are bangers, and ClariS killed it on the ED as well. |

| Well, the arc as a whole... existed. Not bad but weak especially since the suspense we had with Koimonogatari. The animation is better at least and the inserts had some more variety. The story had an interesting premise but it was somewhat anticlimatic and a bit of a wasted potential. It will also be sad that Arararagi is now nerfed and unable to use his vampiric powers before he takes a turn into the worse. Sure the arc didn't have much by itself but it works great as a prologue, I guess. |

| I like Ononoki and was happy to learn more about her. It's also great to see more focus on Araragi and his issues. This arc seems like a good transition into the endgame. The second season had many resolutions, and I think most of the issues for characters introduced in the first season are resolved. Also the detail about Kagenui and Tadatsuru being cursed and unable to walk on the ground always felt like such a fascinating and cool detail. |

| Probably the best-looking Monogatari installment in terms of visual direction. Ononoki + snowy/late-night backgrounds is pure perfection. As for the arc, it was definitely better than the snoozefest that was Hanamonogatari but still nothing to write home about. It was... decent. Also gotta say it felt more like an extensive epilogue to Hitagi End/Koimonogatari than a proper sequel but well. 5,5/10 -> 5/10 - KoyoKoyo? Anyways, Owarimonogatari here I come. |
| Another masterpiece arc. I was dreading whole time if something bad about to happen maybe to Ononoki. But it all ends well for now. This entire plot was orchestrated by someone who wants make Araragi further into a vampire and make his life as hell as possible. As things stands without any twist that's probably Ougi. Fk that niece wannabe. Tadsemaru just straight up sacrifices himself not to follow her whims, I mean despite being a kindnaper...I don't feel as good in his death as I thought I would. Man got his wish atleast "I said with posed look" Big ups to Gaen & Kagenui for sticking up for Araragi and going against the plan of mastermind and basically let him(and his sisters) borrow Ononoki not drive her away from him.  Lovey dovey Senjougahara jumpscare cherry on top. Started with based Wincest Tsukihi "content", then the biggest reveal of the series and a good climax and end. Perfect arc and excellent way to start final season. Although I am scared for what next to come. |
