| I wasn't really expecting anything, but after seeing the ridiculous opening on YouTube I was compelled to watch the show. I guess I'm going against popular opinion here, but I really like it. It's quirky, odd, and pretty much pointless, but I find it highly entertaining. |

| To tell you the truth, i've never heard of Lucky Star. I just decided to watch it because someone told me about it. And this is also the first slice of life anime i've ever seen. First episode...well.. OP: Weird but cool. First half of episode: I love food. I don't mind them talking about it. I got a chance to see what the characters were like. I like them all. Second half: Quirky and funny. Not lol type of funny, but it's interesting to say the least. Lucky Channel and ED: Best parts of the episode. Great. So...i'm going to stick with it. I'll catch up with the rest of you soon and watch 2 and 3. |
| Rofl, I really enjoyed it, even the food scene was good imo. It drug on and on, I'll admit, but I loved how they closed it :P And I won't ever forget the line "I thought the flu was like a super cold". Classic. |

| I'm so sorry for bringing this topic back up but I just saw the first episode last night. I wasn't planning on watching but did because I see it all over in peoples sigs. So here is what I think. I loved the opening. I was kinda dancing during the opening. *lol* So yeah, that got me going. The part were they talked about food dragged on and made me hungry. >_> I like the one girl who doesn't want to miss her anime shows, just like me. *lol* i don't understand what the Lucky Channel part was about, but it was funny. Though, it will never be as funny as Azumanga Daioh. So far I gave it a 5. I will watch more later. |

| Kinda boring to me, but there were some bits that I found funny. I'll have to admit I was mostly just thinking "Is it over yet..?" the entire time though xD Just seemed to drag on aimlessly to me. Haha. |

| I enjoyed this episode, the food thing just made me so damn hungry, but I was still ogling the animation at that point so I didn't get bored till about 5 min in. I can say this honestly, since I haven't seen that much anime yet, lol, but that's the greatest most addicting opening I've seen so far. Konata is win. Let's just get that out there. Yeah this episode dragged on, but what I've been hearing from everyone is that the first few episodes aren't on par with the rest of the anime. Anyway, I'm addicted so I won't stop watching haha. |

| Finally started watching this anime...I expected something else. There's no plot,the characters talk about food for almost half the episode,there's some really stupid/odd humor. Clearly a parody of the 'slice of life' anime series. ... I like it!!!! 8D |

| Very random. That's about all I can say. The whole conversation based on food made me chuckle a few times, but really I can say that I won't get serious about this anime. I'll finish it for sure, but not because of it's story (questioning the presence of one, atm); rather because of how completely random and funny it is. This shall be the anime to cheer me up! xD |

| Kinda disappointed and I guess it is pretty much overrated animu...but this is just me,lets not jump so highly while watching EP 1 , but yeah I was disappointed and pretty bored...I was thinking that it was similar to Azumanga Daioh but its way down the road. I wonder how I am going to watch this ... even that I like slice of life or some school life animu , this is just too girly for me. |

| ok I've just went through the reviews and it doesn't look good. Obviously if all episodes r gonna b like that... I meant look at ep 1 itself, it is being rated a score of 3 or 4 outta 5!?! The people in here must be seriously biased to do something like that. |

| Hmmm.. yeah this series is pretty... different lol. I will say. the random jumping around with different subjects was just to fast paced for me and didn't seem like it was in any particular order. Anyways this series has very high reviews on here and personally i don't see why. I was expecting something more similar to like Clannad or Kannon. I will continue to watch it though and hope it gets better. I have to admit that long conversation involving food got me pretty hungry lol. |

| I laughed three times. I like shows that revolve around conversations between characters but for most of this episode I wasn't interested in what they were talking about. I assume it would be different if I was Japanese. Still, I haven't dropped an anime yet so I'll give it a chance. |
