| Can't lie, I love Julius. He seems to always laugh at the same things I do and his interactions with Scarlet are great. I wonder what his character will be like during the series though, he isn't exactly a straight forward character, so he probably has some sort of secret agenda. |

| This episode reminds me of why I'm starting to hate 99% of anime this past decade. This anime (the author precisly) could have made a "girlboss" and "badass" type of character, even archetypically. But no? Of course not. She'd just playing into the hands of blank slopy ass-written male characters (the blondie prince and others to come) even when she takes a decision to do something on her own. Even 2025 there's barely any anime with a female main character who dictates the pace of the show by her own decisions, without having to consistenly rely on male characters who think they worth something while being to most generic male characters, and without having others consistently think they should intervene to help while they are totally not needed (despite the show forcing situations that feel fake where they are needed). Gimmick isn't an excuse here. 2025 but still no originality for better gimmicks. |

| I always like a good double premiere, and this show is 13 episodes so it won’t end much earlier than everything else because of it. We got a bit of world building in this one paired with Scarlet’s throwdowns, the “blessings” thing helps explain why Scarlet is so damn strong, she’s basically a superhuman thanks to the time god’s blessing, but apparently there are drawbacks to it so she’s not overpowered, I’m down with that, I do enjoy seeing her zoom around while beating up chumps after all lol. We were also introduced to Nanaka, he had me fooled at first but he is indeed a femboy, and also a beast person, interesting combo, and with Scarlet releasing him from slavery, she’s now got a little helper, his reactions to Scarlet were pretty funny so I’m happy with his addition. And now the name of the game is getting revenge on the Prime Minister for attempting to have Scarlet killed, he’s a bit of a generic villain but I’m sure it’ll be fun to watch Scarlet deck him in the schnoz. We also got more Julius in this one, looks like he’s gonna be really prominent so I’m happy about that, and although his “real reason” for following Scarlet is entertainment (I can’t blame him lol), I think there is some truth about his initial reasoning as well, I’m sure he’ll be a great king if he’s got an outlook like that. |

| First two minutes of ep 1: "Wow, isn't that punch a little excessive?" When the punch finally lands: "Yeah, fuck that wench, kick her ass" Now: "What a distinguish way to be violent against people" Indeed, in a rare instance of me actually reading the material before the adaptation comes out, this is one I'd been looking forward to watching for a while. While the animation is simply ok I will say that the hits feel just as satifying as when they did upon reading. The op is so-so but the ed song in particular is pretty good. I wonder up to what part they'll be able to adapt. |

| Didn’t mention it earlier, but yeah, two back-to-back solid Kazuya Sakamoto SBs here were a nice touch. You can definitely see the production’s limits in the stop-and-go pacing of the action, but the drawings are strong and the comedy still lands. They’re working well within their scope, and the fact that episodes are being completed well ahead of schedule is just icing on the cake. Good stuff all around. |

| Decent episode, although it’s pretty obvious what’s going to happen next. Nanaka gives Julius and Scarlet one or more ideas on how to infiltrate the auction Godwin will be attending. They all manage to get inside, and then Scarlet punches Godwin. All's well that ends well. I AM excited to see that though. |
| MC getting dumped in front of everyone and Prince no longer wants to marry her.. didn’t we literally just get this premise in a villainess show like two seasons ago I’m blanking on the name rn lol? Unlike every other villainess series before her, Scarlet isn’t just going to take things lying down. She fights back and beats the shit out of everyone and it’s so satisfying. I couldn’t get thru 2 minutes of that Kyle flashback in the first episode without wanting to see him brutally killed, while we haven’t got there yet, Scarlet taking out the nobles at the party and tearing down Kyle’s slave trading operation is a good start. The absolute audacity of the goon in episode 2 who thought he could get off with just apologizing after he talked all that shit to scarlet lol. Just seeing her completely dominate and destroy all these sexist and gross dudes is so fun. Production values are amazing, it’s funny, scarlet’s OP af and there’s a political conspiracy to unravel? This has everything I want in my villainess show. Scarlet might have the deadliest face card this season, too, oh my god she’s fine as fuck. Girl who can kick my ass PLEASE lord 🙏🏾 |

| So far so good, it's pretty much the same as the manga barring one or two little details (I know this is originally a Light Novel but I read the manga so that's my only point of reference. There are many characters in the opening I don't recognize though. Can't wait for the next episode :D |

| [ep1 & 2] Scarlet and Julius are basically the golden retriever and black cat duo. Scarlet's desire to punch people who piss her off is very relatable. I'm glad she carries through with it, leaving no one unscathed. Julius needs to improve on those drawing skills... Anyway, this is a great start to this anime, can't wait to see how it progresses. |

I'm really impressed by the humour of this show so far, and the strong-willed nature of the "villainess" MC.

The ED reveals that the floozy we saw in the first episode has an important role to play. She has an immensely punchable face so I hope our heroine gets a second shot at that mug of hers. |

| Slightly slower than first episode to be expected after such a banger of a first episode. If they show one scene of Scarlet beating the shit out of people is enough honestly. I am really liking how sly the prince is perfect tamer for such beast like "bloodtaned lady". I would have preferred Nanaka to be girl, meh femboy fine ig. When Scarlet crushed that rock hearing how those crooks beat up the boy was damn good. Justice served.. Great start so far, nothing really out of the world for an villainess show but great execution. Time warping is kinda cool though. OP was quite decent. Idk how much role Terenezza will play after getting beat up but that ED is an masterpiece. And girl looks soo hot & cute❤️ |

| I'm really not that impressed by the animation in this show. It's perfectly serviceable and doesn't really negatively impact the show don't get me wrong. But after seeing "Detective's these days are crazy" last season. LIDENFILMS production work is much more rough here, the animation is less consistent and can be quite stiff at times, it also has a lot more still frames in comparison. I'm not really complaining as it's likely it just has a very low budget. But I would still prefer seeing less stiff animation, lots of low budget shows have more still frames, but at least when they do have motion it looks consistently good. The fight against the bandits this episode looked perfectly fine and it had some well done motion too, but the choreography wasn't exactly great, at least it was animated pretty well. Not the most consistent in terms of production quality but at least the fight scenes are pretty serviceable so far. Otherwise I'm really unsure of this show so far, I guess a character that really likes punching people is something some people enjoy, not me as much I suppose. The bigger issue is really that this show is already struggling a bit in the story and plot department, which is a shame. Hoping to see things get better in regards to it's plot and story as the show continues airing. |

 Nanaka ♡ It's unfortunate that they decided to change the cute moment where Nanaka is too flustered to shake Scarlet's hand, and she's amused about it (She finds it cute). But oh well. And then there's this gem, which was also cut:  Still, I'm enjoying this adaptation. Looking forward to episode 3. It should be Julius' backstory. Then again, his backstory is already "late". Who knows how far they've moved it. |
