| I like girls with a few screw loose but Satsuki just seems like a overly teasing type rather than a yandere. There's definitely some reason why she wrekt the garden or it could be that she didn't even do it and was covering for someone/some reason. The glasses guy gives me the creeps though, he seems bad news. Could be that he likes Yukari and doesn't like that she seems to like Naoto. The aunt seems like a fun character, that racoon/ringtail I think it is? too and the imouto's adorable. Good voice casting for the characters as well. Anyway somewhat interesting premiere which feels like would turn dark or that's the feeling I've been getting from this series. Never ended up reading the manga cause I was waiting for it to end and then it ended with anime announcement, so just waited for the anime to come out. While the animation is like barely there I don't particularly mind since I'm here for the story but obviously good animation would have been better. Theme songs were pretty nice though. |

| Would it be weird if I said I actually liked the first episode in some strange way? Hahahahahaha I laughed so much, honestly! I think this anime has some oddly strong potential! I guess the name really says it all—Watari kun Is About to Collapse. I also liked the opening and ending. The opening strangely reminded me of *K-On*. I’m excited for the next episode! | The coloring is kind of really bad, am i the only one who finds this „you destroyed my garden!!!” plot element weird? xD I think I'll give it another episode, but it reeks of a drop, the season is very staked so I'm not going to waste my time with something like that |

Check (Bonus points for only liking the main girl when the last time they met was like 4 lol) Perverted girl getting into all kinds of lewd acts and degeneracy just because and never punished? | Like many have pointed out, wtf is the deal with the colouring? It feels like the director watched The Kawai Complex (also a terrible anime) and thought, "hey maybe if we have puke rainbow colors everywhere it will look cool". Also why are like 85% of the scenes filled with that stupid blurry filter as if it's supposed to be some dream sequence? The spineless and dense main protag is also quite a problem, not to mention the forced love triangle (dud is the most bland main character, but somehow one of the hottest girls in school is already quite interested in him, not to mention his creepy stalker childhood friend). Not even interested in the dumb garden mystery. This is an easy drop since day one. |

| Decent prologue for a romcom. I don’t know why it’s rated so low when it’s literally just the season premiere, but whatever. That said, from the vibes I got from this episode, it seems like it’s going to be a love triangle between Satsuki, Naoto, and Yukari. I haven’t seen enough of the characters yet to know who I want to root for, but so far, I’m really liking Satsuki. I love a pushy girl, so I guess I’m rooting for her for now. Yukari’s pretty cute too, but she feels like your typical heroine, which is kind of lame and boring to me. Each of the two girls has a pro and a con. Satsuki’s pushy personality is her pro, but the garden incident is her con. Yukari, on the other hand, has Naoto’s interest as her pro, but her shyness as her con. So honestly, I have no idea who’s winning Naoto over, haha. |
| That was a surprisingly fun episode. The MC is decent, even better. We've got cute imouto, hot and cute girls, and ecchiness. What else is there to need! |

| Ok, let me first clear up some things as I see a lot of confused people here. 1st thing: this is not a comedy, far from it. The show is psychological in nature as it handles a LOT of past dramas that have morphed people into what they are now. But it is mostly wholesome (worry not, this will not turn into School Life by the end) so it's a good watch even if we need like 4 or 5 episodes to get there. 2nd thing: MC is far from being a 'average siscon or loser'. His parents died 2 years ago and both of them are still kids, nobody wanted to take them in (it was explained later on why exactly) and on top of all of that Suzu is 10 years old and still needs mom and dad to lead her trough life. So not only is the guy filling roles of both mother and father for his little sister (becasue nobody in family wanted) he needs also to go to school (in which he is constantly barraged by everyone for not wanting to hang out after school or go to clubs) and find part-time job so that he can afford them decent life if nothing else. While his aunt did take them in she is only offering shelter and a bit of money, most of the time she is not even present. And they do not want to be bother to her as well, so they are doing their best for now. How can people conclude that he is siscon and loser is beyond me. The guy is under so much pressure that it is amazing how he is handling everything so far. He is uncertain in himself exactly becasue if he makes a mistake it can cost him and his sister dearly, yet despite that he gives it his best. He should be text example on how to write good teenage MC. Now, how I feel about anime after finishing the manga recently? Animation is decent, but I can see that they are on budget here. Character models are great IMO, Suzu I think looks better here than she is in manga. And after seeing the kissing scene I think they also saved budget for really important scenes, and we will get a few of them along the road for sure. Characters are great so far, exactly as they were at the start of the manga. Only fear I have is rushing. Manga itself is not long (94 chapters in total) but it has a lot of details and smaller scenes. I know that they will cut something to match up the pace (and that seems to be the case as they will go ~8 Chapters on average per episode) I just hope that they do not cut too much. EDIT: I just saw that this is 26 episode anime and will adapt entire manga. It is a nice news, although I now wonder why all the rush in 1st episode alone? Nevertheless since it is 2 cours and 26 episodes long I expect a decent adaptation. They should not cut too much in that case and characters shoudl go trough full development at a steady pace. Overall I will give this adaptation a go. I was pleasantly satisfied with the mange by the end and I expect anime to deliver as well. Something akin to Tsumasho we had few months ago. |

| @oooo3333 I am more than happy with 26, as I remember how they had to butcher Tsumasho manga in order to get everything important for anime's 12 episodes. What they cut was not much but it did expand the characters a lot like visit to wife's parent house, daughter's first date, scenes at school etc... Hopefully from this they do not need to cut a lot as here they have double the episode number to make it good. |

| Ngl I went into this almost fully blind so when going in I thought Tachibana was actually Naoto's sister but I suppose I was wrong, I assumed his sister would be a bit older but I guess not. Idk a very random first episode not in a bad way though, just a kinda random plot. The animation is horrible but idk this might be a interesting plot. |
| Maybe I watch too much romance anime because this first episode seems like one hundred first episodes of random anime romance; I wait to see what this anime can give us! |
