| 'Buddy Daddies' about to become just 'Buddy' lmao I loved this episode, it was so wholesome seeing Kazuki and Miri preparing a birthday party!! AND HE SMILED. ahh and the ending!! Things are getting serious now and I'm living for it, can't wait for the next episode. |

| Yeah, I can't see kyu-chan against them. Now I wonder what they will do?, it seems that the "boss" isn't someone you can talk it out and I doubt miri and kazuki will let rei abandon them just because is the only way for the organization to not hunt them down. |

| Rei heading back home to see his father after a couple years. Just like when he was younger he calls his dad, boss. He is given a job by him. To kill a man who betrayed the organisation. Its someone Rei knows. A man who helped trained him and someone Rei hasn't beaten in combat previously. The betrayed part was because the mentor tried to leave the organisation as he had someone to care about. The fight was pretty intense but at the closing stages Rei prevails but it doesn't seem like he won at the end. With his last words being "I'm on my way", in reference to his lover who got killed by the organisation previously. One of Rei's mentors dies. During that whole ordeal Kazuki and Miri were preparing for Rei's birthday party at home and when Rei was late, Kazuki tracks his phone and finds him. Talking about their first impressions of one another on the way home, when they finally do get home Rei is shocked at the surprise and even smiles when Miri tries to sing happy birthday before she falling asleep again. At the end tho. We find out Kyuu is working under Rei's dad as well and his dad has taken an interest in Kazuki and Miri. That is not good news at all. A nice mix of fun and dark moments. This anime is great at mixing the two. Next week onwards! |

| After the previous episode (that was pretty weak) they showed that the more serious stuff (no real comedy here) works after all. Thing is though: Rei is the more important char than Kazuki. That is why that stuff got better development and more screentime. I do not think they'll mention Kazuki's wife or her sister again. With Reis father actually not only being the boss of "some mafia organization" but owning the whole killer business ... makes sense that the older evil-looking guy also gets to stay on screen through this. (And not because he formerly worked together with Kazuki.) |
| It reminds me that Kyu-chan said about 'not betraying the organization' to Kazuki in the early episodes... I know that Kyu-chan won't let Kazuki and Miri in danger but on the other hand I'm also a bit wary... This episode was supposed to be very sweet, but instead I felt very sad. But anyway, I'm sure this birthday is the best birthday Rei ever had! |

| I like Rei, Kazuki is ok but I hate Miri. Although it's not going to happen I wish that the series would take a dark turn and the assassin manages to somehow kill Miri. |
| The further this anime runs, the more I feel like Kazuki is not going to live until the end and after seeing that ending, my suspicions skyrocketed... I sure hope I'm wrong. The last few episodes have been taking some good tugs at my heartstrings. |

| Rei needed to go back to his dad for visit while Kazuki and Miri are preparing his birthday party! Rei got an new case to solve because someone betrayed the organization, so she went and did his job, but at the last moment he wanted to save the guy but it was too late. Kazuki & Miri still waiting for Rei to return home, Miri already fell asleep. Kazuki went and picked up Rei himself. Miri even said Happy Birthday before falling asleep and Rei smiled for the first time. The organization wants more info on Kazuki & Miri, hopefully nothing bad will happen. |

| Ya so we learn about Rei's fucked up assassin family and how he's pretty much gonna be forced into making a choice. Of course they've now seen Kazuki with a small child and surely these are the kinda ppl that would kill the child to force Rei to return. |

| Kazuki "I can fix him" Kurusu. Decent Rei-focused episode. Contrast between wholesomeness/comedy and dark stuff was handled better this time than in previous occasions. Edgy assassin who collects his victims' last words made me roll my eyes in such a way tho. |

| Kazuki. Miri helped you enough with preparing the birthday surprise for Rei. Let her sleep now, she deserves some rest. So I'm guessing by the cliffhanger: Kyu-chan has connections with Rei's organization and now he has a mission of eliminating Kazu and Miri out of Rei's life for him to return back. |
