The anime adaptation is not far from the manga, and the pacing has been going slow ever since Oda had to take a break once every 3 weeks due to his health and age. And it is difficult, because the production never stops, and they are constrained with time, having to draw so much sheets, frame by frame. There are multiple teams working on this. Sakugas have to be planned ahead, it isn't a seasonal anime we're getting. Production cost is also an issue, they need to elevate, focus and invest on scenes that matter more. |

| It’s been a while since we’ve seen Saul Derishishishishishi Robin’s past is one of the best and Clovers death was one of the most suspenseful and meaningful deaths in One Piece in my opinion because they silenced him before he could say anything more about the lost village and also because the people of Ohara knew too much. |

| Another banger of an episode. We continue with Yamato's struggle with Kaido. She doesn't want to be shogun or whatever Kaido wants her to be. Her devil fruit was revealed which was cool. Franky and Sasori's fight has reached its climax. I've gotta say, the animation in that fight was amazing and obviously Franky is so fucking awesome. I love watching his fights. That radical beam at the end there where he pops out of General Franky.. Just chef's kiss. Robin was put under genjutsu by Black Maria but obviously, Black Maria is not from the Uchiha clan and Robin is able to see through it pretty easily. While it was nice to see those flashbacks, It reminded me of the sadness of Robin's childhood. Now it's Brook's turn to receive the genjutsu treatment |

| I could have worn it played out differently in the Manga. I wish they didn't skip over Yamato's and Kaido's clash. TH preview seems to have some amazing animation for the week. |
| yamato's devil fruit is very cool the flashback of Robin is not welcome... just too long like we have forgot her past... some scene is ok but here it was too long so i just past it so it's like i saw just 10 min on 20 lol |
| Last week i mentioned that this would be a good episode beacuse we finally got to ROBINS fight, but I did not expect this entire episode would be interspersed with Robin's flashbacks and long drawn out facial scenes. Like wow lol. Ok well. nothing pretty much happen. We got a few bits of Yamato which I expected beacuse that was also the start of the chapter and then like 3 pages transformed into 15 min of robin flashback. With the correct pacing, even by one piece standards, this should have at least covered material to the point when Robin declares sanji (roughly 10 more pages beyond this). Would have been a perfect end, then the next episode could focus on the remaining fight of robin to its conclusion. How ever, it looks like next episode is incorporating even more filler material so we could be at this robin's fight for a good 3-4 episodes lol. Realistically that makes Luffy drowning and just barely being consious over a span of 5 episodes lol. IN the manga this was like 2 chapters. Yeah TOIE needs to really step up there game. Even being an outsourced episode, I expected better then this. |

| Though you know, we complain alot about slow pacing but then turn around and praise TOIE for some of there best animated episodes, so its really a matter of them providing there resources and talent on episodes they select that deserve the higher budget and improved quality. The material adapted from this ep was nothing really special but there will be some pretty good scenes coming up during the final part of Robin's fight so i expect some level of improvement during those moments. |

Also it's funny that you praise the fight's animation when most of the comments that I've seen on social media and other forums (and even in my own opinion) is that the fight had average animation at best because the episode was outsourced, and that it didn't even feel like a proper conclusion to the fight. |

| Episode starts with one of the most annoying characters in the crew and then continues with unnecessary flashbacks that we've seen multiple times before. Next episodes seems to be the same with flashbacks that are from a character no1 cares about. Hopefully we can come back on track in a few weeks, this is getting ridiculous. Loli Robin is so cute tho, love the voice of Anzu Nagai! :) |
