Are you talking abt the content or the adaptation?

I am always talking about the content. I'm always indifferent regarding adaptations, and all that fluff (I find it funny that people with no qualifications whatsoever can have intense opinions about these things). As long as a great story is being told, I'mma enjoy it. With the exception of it being an obviously atrocious adaptation, like that infamous Nanatsu no Taizai one.

I'm the same but ngl this epiosde quality was sds s3 level imo but I'm hoping the last few episodes of this arc will be at least on par with mha s6 peaks

Shoestring production quality. Though it was the content itself which saved the episode from a big embarrassment.

man i am straight up depressed, it just looked like colored manga with voice acting. There was no impact when bakugou got clapped, they messed up lmao

bro as an anime-only too I was really disappointed after seeing how good mirko action scenes were.

Not nearly as good as it should have been, if this was a normal episode i would understand, but it was a really important one.

Bakugou's "sacrifice" was a still frame, wtf? I already lowered my expectations about the fight (which in fact did not turn to be that good animation-wise) but goddamn.

Next episode doesn't look much better either, if they fuck up
in episode 11 then i'm giving up.

This season started so strong, it's a shame.

This episode was garbage, as an anime-only, I was very hyped for this episode especially after hearing how this is episode was supposed to be one of the best this arc, I was disappointed beyond belief. This episode was the weakest production-wise in s6 and possibly the worst one in the series and will easily fit in Sds s3. Mha s6 episodes had flaws in its character drawing consistency and animation but it also had some very good art and animation, especially during Mirko scenes and the underground fight but man this episode was so hard to watch, the drawings were so bad and even Deku being epic just looked goofy and lame wtf.... looking at the preview next episode doesn't look any better. I was thinking mha s6 will at least be better than mha s5 first half but looks like I'll be wrong...

Maybe it's too late at this point but if you can't stand the animation then you should consider reading the manga.

That's a knock to manga colorists. The Bones/Anime staff makes all the scenes look so washed out with that ugly ass blue sky. I'd kill to have shading, lighting, literally any tonal change to the scenes:

The sad thing is the animation was decent overall with some rly good scenes in this season so far but my main problem was the direction in some epiosdes but man this episode really ruined my hype for the upcoming episodes. I don't want to read the manga as s6 is airing rn maybe later.

One of the best episodes of the anime since season 1.
Boku no hero got worse and worse with each season, it was mostly slice of life filler for the majority of the more recent seasons but then this one came, action filled episodes every week out of nowhere.
I thought about dropping this anime after season 3 but for some reason I kept watching in hopes it would eventually get better and it genuinely did.
I never thought this season would get this good, I'm glad I watched until this point and I hope the anime doesnt go back to its filler state after the end of season 6

I'm already seeing some disappointment for this episode from people on here, and I guess I can't act like I can't see why. For what I thought would be hands down the best episode of the season so far, is probably somewhere in the middle, but considering how consistently good this season has been that means it was still really good. The tension of the situation still felt really palpable, with the music going a long way in almost every scene. Deku vs Shigaraki didn't feel as brutal and desperate as in the manga, but still had some fluid cuts to sell the impact of each punch, and the scream from Shiggy's VA during Prominence Burn was great. Really, the only problem I had was the music used for Bakugo's sacrifice, instead of something emotional they used the beginning of "My Villain Academia" which is a sinister track. Perhaps the director had a different vision in mind for the scene and there wasn't any emotional tracks short enough to fit the ending. But overall, it was still a solid episode and I hope people don't let their insane hype blind them into severely underselling it.

Since when is "enjoying the episode" synonymous with "blinded by hype". I also thought the animation was meh at some points but tbf the action and soundtrack was still great enough for me not to care. This episode was so hype, I haven't felt this way about this series in years and it was all captured by how high the stakes have risen. Looks like this might be the end of the line for Bakugo while Tomura has more aces up his sleeve. This is thrilling.

I just hope the animation can be a bit more fluid.

No way people think that today's episode was good. You couldn't feel the same impact as in the manga. The actions of Deku were great, but Bones couldn't capture it at all. Animation felt like a a slideshow most of the time where they leave the impact as a still frame. Or show the sky whenever Deku punches Shigaraki. The soundtrack was a banger though, but you could just read the manga at this point. This will go down just the same as the previous season. First half has a decent to good adaptation and the later have will be completely butchered.

Shigaraki vs Deku feels like a kid's friendly fight in the anime.

I would have given this episode a score above 5 if it were possible. Damn, I really liked.

I don't have any deep analysis of the scenes, but I liked the reveals and the fakeouts (I really thought Erased Head was gone).

I feel this is the last season of the series and that we are watching some of the last episodes of it. Can any manga reader confirm this?

Deku Molly whopping Shigaraki!! All that underlying rage Deku has built up over the course of this fight unleashed. Erasure along with Gran Torino both incapacitated. Loved loved loved this episode. Deku not giving Shiggy an inch, seeing how his body can't handle the new power its received is familiar for Deku. Shigaraki just now realizing it hasn't been the four months he was supposed to be sleeping all along. Mirko kicking open his canister at seventy five percent was a game changer. That little bit of discrepancy falters Shiggy. He can't regenerate as fast as usual but with his decay back that would end things quick.

Deku unlocking the seventh user's quirk Float was so epic to see animated. Him zooming up into the sky grabbing everyone with blackwhip. Grabbing Shigaraki with it and landing smash after smash on him, some even in rapid succession. Great shots up close of Deku bashing Shiggy like no tomorrow. Loved all intense camera work surrounding Deku punches. The emotion was palpable seeing Deku proclaim Shigaraki isn't gonna hurt those close to Deku anymore. All For One reaching into Shiggy body to get him out of that bad situation after Endeavor charred him again. Using those tentacle things we saw All For One use against All Might. Bakugo with his ultimate sacrifice play. Realizing how wrong he was about Deku for so long. Now that moment of Deku saving Bakugo from the slug monster has come full circle.

Uraraka looked very cute with that hairstyle.

Deku used all his smashes but Shigaraki can still resist, even after a plus ultra prominence burn. One by one the heroes are failing and Machia is on his way destroying cities.

Bakugo getting impaled, Eraser removing his leg and having to blink twice, Shigaraki getting pushed to the absolute limit. What an episode, just like Eraser Head I couldn't even blink. I definitely didn’t expect Aizawa to chop his leg off to negate the deleter round but that was insane, and ngl a comment I saw had me thinking Ryukyu died when Shigaraki broke free from her but thankfully I don’t think she did, it definitely looks like she could have tho. And looks like the students’ efforts last episode were futile because Gigantomachia is now rampaging through cities to get to Shigaraki, I would hate to be in his war path lol.

And the fight with Shigaraki has reached new heights (literally) with Midoriya keeping him suspended in the air with black whip and float which was really cool to see giving how that was Nana Shimura’s quirk, it’s fitting that it’s how Shigaraki is being stopped. And now even after Shigaraki was burnt to an actual crisp, he’s still kicking and a new attack has emerged from him, and then we got that wild cliffhanger moment with Bakugo protecting Midoriya from the attack, definitely goes to show how much Bakugo has changed over the seasons. There was also a nice new ED visual with the older Bakugo holding out a hand to his younger self, really liked that addition.

Also I couldn’t help but notice this episode took a bit of a hit in the animation and art, nothing terrible but it was noticeable to me, but I get they gotta save budget somewhere because this season has been consistently awesome so far.
