| Phoned in ending. Maximillian with the armor out of nowhere was ridiculous, but I don't know what I really even expected from the show. Dropped another point, 4/10. Not much really positive about the show besides the art style, and since it faltered quite a bit towards the end, plus the terrible plot halfway through, VC ends up being being below average. |
| Sucks that it is over, I like it. I just wish I had a PS3 so that I could play the game. I also thought it was messed up that they didn't mention Faldio at all after all that he had done, you would think they would have honored him in some way. Also, did anyone else see Jaeger walking through the background at the train station? I thought Maximilian shot him? |

| Okay, so. That was rushed as all hell. And I think more people got shot in this episode than in every other episode combined. Like...it was a decent enough way to end the series, HEAVILY cliched though. I was counting the cliched lines and scenes and ran out of fingers and toes. Traveller said: Why that heck didnt they mention Faldio. YES THIS. He was so important in the series and they didn't even show his grave or give him a name drop with Isara or anything. My rating: 6/10. Amusing and fun and pretty good until episode 10 or so, then slowly downhill until 17-19 which is the best arc. 20 to the end is very rushed and QUALITY at times. It's a decent enough show, and I might revisit it after playing the game. |
At first I just loved this show but the relaxing and funny atmosphere but after episode 10 it got somehow ... more boring. I was also left to wonder why they didn't mention Faldio at the end. Oh and the second opening was addicting ! But overall this was pretty nice serie and deserves 8/10. |

| A nice ending, though the last scenes in the game were better... The battle against Maximilian was definitely more intense, they managed to beat him with only two people, while he can smash your whole party including tanks in the game ^^ |
| Maximilian with the armor was indeed ridiculous and it felt a bit rushed, but other than that it was an okay ending. Not bad. I enjoyed the anime a lot and thought it had some great moments, especially Isara's death and the episodes that followed. 8/10 I really want to play the game.. |

| a really nice ending, was between 8/9 but this made the 9 for me. yeah i know it had a lot of strange story twists, it was kinda rushed or the villain wasnt so great. but in the end i did enjoy this serie. and it made me really wants to play the game. the 1st half was only about how good welkin is, added some comedy ep and was ok, but it had a slow pace. then it changed pretty fast after the 2nd half, it was more "brutal" a lot of people are dying, more dramtic etc. so i am glad i sticked to it. (even with the spoiler op D:) after all a really nice serie, it had it up and down but it entertained me, and thats all whats important for me. alicia <3 |

What an insult to Faldio. It was technically thanks to him that their empire even won the damn battle to begin with because he KNEW Alicia was a Valkyria and tried to kill her to awaken her powers. God damn. I could go on, but you know :/ Sadly I did enjoy the whole series so I give it an 8/10. |

| Where's the airplane? No airplane = fail. 3/10 for this show. I would have given it a 4/10 if I didn't play the game which was much more emotionally intense with a real ending. (Yeah there was an airplane) |

We don't even get to SEE his "heroic(?)" death. (Not exactly Heroic...they were just common soldiers lol). They didn't bother mentioning his name, a grave...NOTHING. No one even seemed to realize he was GONE/Dead. That was ubber lame. They could've at least showed Welkin mentioning his name and maybe a tear or two? I'm glad we got a kissing-scene at the end there :). Maximillian...lol. Jaeger...well..I liked the guy. So I'll overlook that part. Edy looked awesome in a dress :). I did like how we got to see some character pairings at the end. But It was a tad rushed. 8/10...Even though it's probably a 7/10. And if I was spiteful about Faldio 6/10. lol. |
| What the fuck was that. So only Faldio dies? And nobody seems to care. He doesn't even get a mention at the end, it's just "Isara and the rest" to Welkin. (Did she even fight at the end?) Whatevs, the last couple of eps of this series were just bad. 5/10 (average): decent start to the series, meandered in the middle, then became bad towards the end. |

| All and all it was a decent ending episode. A little on the weak side, but the romance was there and it was an okay fight despite feeling very rushed at times. And yeah, other than glance back from Welkin no one seemed to notice Faldio's death. (Poor guy.) As for Valkyria Chronicles as a whole, I feel the series was poorly paced. It began strong, became weak near the middle, picked up strength again, and finally ended on a fairly rushed note. I wish some of the filler-ish episodes were cut out from the near middle and middle of the series to focus more on the military fighting aspects. At times I just watched this series for the romance elements, unfortunately it took about 20 episodes for Welkin to get a clue, but in the end the romance didn't disappoint. In my anime list I did assign this series a 6 out of 10, dropped down from my 7 out of 10. It was just an average series, fine if you watch it (and haven't played the game) but you're not missing much from avoiding this series either. I'm glad I saw it, but I don't think I want to see it twice. On the upside, at least this series was more satisfying than oh, say Xenosaga: The Animation, now that was a terrible adaptation. I personally haven't played the game but it's nice to know that the anime deviates from the game. When I do get my hands on a PS3, Valkyria Chronicles will probably be one of the first titles I grab. |

Here it comes, here it comes, Welkin talks about sacrificies, and for the first time I feel HAPPY because they will honor him. "ISARA AND THE OTHERS". GOD, WHAT THE FCK WELKIN. I KNOW ISARA WAS YOUR LITTLE SISTER IN ALL, BUT PLEASE. ALICIA SAY SOMETHING ALREADY. DID WELKIN EVEN TELL ALICIA THAT HE DIED? IS ALICIA TOO INTO WELKINS ABS AND BOD TO REALIZE THAT THE GUY WHO LIKED HER FIRST, SAVED HER AND EVERYONE ELSE IS DEAD? I WILL NEVER WATCH ANOTHER ANIME FROM YOU, ANIME CREATORS. GOD So then, I see the game end. This automatically makes me happier because Faldio dies in an even MORE heroic way, in FRONT of them this time. Isara's there in the squad and doing things, even if it's not much, and she has an added story that leads to some important stuff at the end...you'd really need to play or watch the whole game to get it. |

| the last scene of the game's ending reminds you/us of late Isara, who died tragically in this warfare that's why, that was so expressive and touching. but on this anime, because there wasn't enough time to do it, i felt this ending is kind of halfway |

| why o why did they change so much, come on, the story in the game was so epic, it almost made me cry, but the anime was so poorly made, i dont know why i didnt drop it earlier :S i didnt even see the plane that saved alicia and welkin in the end of the game the battle with Maximilian in the game was hard but in the anime is like, LOL i hug u, u die haha welkin didnt actually propose to her, no flower ring no anything he just said i like u or love u no alicia bread wagon. and no little isaara (alicia and welkin daughter, yes they name her exactly like welkin sister ) at the end, WTF... 4/10 for me cuz the animation graphics looks exactly like the game and look cool if not this would be a 2/10 i dont know why people giving this 7 or 8, i am sure none of them got the game a play it to the end, if they actually saw the story in the game they will give a low rank just like i did |

| Still, Faldio's homing bullets are cool xD I mean, he doesn't even move the rifle but he still hit two guys xD.. And it's also pretty fun how the good guys always seem to have better aim than the bad guys xD Oh Maximillian is still so awesomely bad, I gotta say it's good to be bad, at least in his case : > Pfft Faldio, fool, gone and blown yourself up.
