This episode was very emotional. I actually thought that this season wouldn't have as much hype as the earlier seasons but clearly I was wrong. I never would've guessed their method of defeating Stanley and it was brilliant

Damn just wow, i'm blown away by this episode, so many things just happened and i was just left reeling by the end of it. I was 100% expecting to be a typical 'yay we got it in the last second' moment, but nooo it was totally different from what i had expected. The last moment of why-man's Senku synthetic voice just sent shivers down my spine ..

i thought that they would scream out at the same time and say 40000m 1 second
@Rayquaza0384 I lowkey thought so too, I thought Magma would've done it when he opened the safe door, or the watch guy would've just yelled when he jumped towards it, or he had some kind of recording on his watch (which I guess was half true)

hope someone just stood up holding the liquid like pouring drops so after petrification the drops do the job
@GersonSalas at this point the only ones who could do anything are Luna and Chelsea since they were sent away with all the potions and stuff, but I doubt they have the brains to do insane calculations like Senku did and time a perfect throw

Just 1 question didn't the deduce somewhere in in Season 3 that the petrification device doesn't work remotely, I mean over radio signals?
@PranaM09 Did they? I don't remember anything like that. I mean the first time why-man tried to activate the stone, Senku even told Kohaku to make sure the stone was nowhere near enough so it doesn't activate

Brutal and heartbreaking to see them fall one by one.

I couldn't hold back: each of them had a moment that left a lump in my throat, almost crying. Chelsea already knew that what Senkuu wanted was for them to escape and survive, and it tore her up inside. Luna also broke down when she realized it, thinking of Senkuu, Carl and Max, and it showed that, even if they called her a coward, she wouldn't run away. She would stay with them until the end.

Kaseki and Joel shone brightly: their hard work paid off, I love how despite Joel's arrogance he also gave credit to Kaseki, without even meeting him in person. And with all these defeats, Gen finally told Senkuu the truth: Kohaku, Tsukasa and Hyoga gave them one last chance for an all or nothing. Kohaku's last words were Senkuu's name? Senkuu x Kohaku forever.

I was so excited to see Magma struggling to open the chamber, Joel activating the voice command, and everyone fighting because they believe in Senkuu and science. Taiju desperately trying to buy time by throwing grenades back: pure courage in the chaos. Fuck, what an episode. Holy crap.

Even knowing they were going to die, they never stopped fighting for that long awaited victory, using the same light that once destroyed humanity.
@Narizor Taiju was straight up a monster throwing grenades back like that, seeing him just lying there after all his energy was really heartbreaking, especially when we see Gen break down after that

@Marinate1016 for the first time I saw that look of 'all is lost' on Senku's face when the diamonds were destroyed in the explosion. But Chrome making a badass speech followed by Joel's breakthrough.. simply amazing 💥💥
@Niwaka-Samurai you're so right cuz the first time we were shown Senku's face like he's completely in despair and panicking, I went like goddamn, we have never ever seen this calm and collected science man freak out, yet here it was

@death604 Keeping him restrained 24/7 and taking away all his belongings (weird "Freddy Krueger" gloves included) would have been a good start.
@SouthRzVa Xeno was pivotal at a lot of the breakthrough they did in the journey like calculating where the Medusa was on and they need stanley's ship

I've been waiting a long time to see this science kingdom massacre scene. When I first read the chapter containing this scene in the manga, I was truly shocked that Dr. Stone could be this tragic. Many plots collided with each other, hope collided with despair. I realized that the distance between hope and despair itself was closer than I thought. Truly, the peak arc of Dr. Stone!

Even though it was to be expected that our main characters will manage to succeed in the end, it was really well executed in my opinion. The way our whole crew managed to pull this off while sacrificing themselves - serious Hunger Games vibes (the dam scene in movie 3).

Also, I'd like to give props to Magma. The guy, who was the biggest villain in the first season and standing in the way of Senku and Chrome for a long time, was the one to open the box and way to victory. How far we've come, seriously.

Damn. This episode was brutal. Everyone was getting shot left and right. But no one died instantly. Because if they did they probably can't be revived by petrification lol. That's convenient.

But wow. They're petrifying the whole world again? How's that gonna work? Who can use the revival fluid if there's no one left? Don't tell me, there's going to be another massive time jump?! That'd be fucking crazy. But it'd also be another race against time between who reawakens first, Senku's team or Xeno's team? If that happens it'd be so fucking crazy. Really can't wait to see what happens.
@0451 you'll be revived even if you're dead as long as your corpse is intact. Remember senku died in season 1 after tsukasa broke his neck bone(can't recall the scientific name) and it was confirmed by tsukasa and his friends so it was possible even after they die

@Ram_Res_Roas I remember when Senku "died." I see. So even if you're dead if the corpse is still fresh enough, petrification can revive you. That's very OP. I guess I was just under the wrong impression.

I'm very rarely left speechless after finishing watching an episode of pretty much any anime. This episode, however, was one of that type of episodes. Marvelous in every aspect. Such a brilliant adaptation (even going by Dr. Stone standards, which set the bar really high in this aspect ;)) that made this very dramatic and heroic moment hit even harder than it did when I read it in the manga long ago. It already had a powerful and emotional impact in the comic format, but the anime truly elevated those moments to an even higher level.

The history repeated itself. The whole planet was once engulfed in the menacing green light that petrified every human being. What will happen next? The future will tell. I'm excited to see the next episodes.

Damn, this turned brutal. I knew they would trigger the petrification to save the crew from the brink of death, but I didn't expect them to trigger global petrification. I was wondering who would know the diameter of the earth, but I forgot that Why man might still be broadcasting the command.

I wonder if Chrome's automatic revival system will come into play next episode.

Wow.. an excessive body count!

So Why-Man is somehow (or will be) Senku? Will the Medusas turn out to be like the Terminator CPU that spawned Skynet?

Derived from the future with no original creation/creator? With Senku having petrified humanity from the future, while trying to save them?

And if the entire Earth* is repetrified by just one Medusa who will unpetrify everyone?

*Or rather just North & South America (12 million meters)
