| Satisfying finale! I wouldn't say I enjoyed this season as much as the first, but there were some great, heartwarming moments with strong development throughout. Fran is a great addition and slowly learning about Ferdinand is exciting. Curious guy for sure! daedalron said: They cut so much from Ferdinand seeing our world... How he marveled at the doors of the library opening, how cars and lightbulbs worked (he thought that was magic), Main showing him the real Cinderella story in the library... And how ashamed he was for Main when she went and took a shower while he was seeing everything... They also changed what I thought was the most emotional moment, when Main apologized to her Mom in the dreamworld, saying how sorry she was for dying first, and never realizing how much her mother cared for her. (That's the thing which was way too emotional for Ferdinand and why he was forced to cut the connection). Oh, that would have been wonderful. I really liked that scene, but I found myself wishing there was more to it, more of Ferdinand commenting on aspects of our world. There's always something beautiful seeing someone discover something totally alien, a different culture and so on. Makes me wish I read the manga first. On to the next season! |
| The continuing tale of the nerdy girl reborn in a D class isekai world. Still a bit pathetic, but hses cute, and its nice to see everyone actually aging, however slowly, and evolving within the show. Hopefully THINGS KICK UP by the 3rd and possible final season...6.5/10 YAY TO HELPING ORPHANS AND THOSE IN NEED! ^<^ |
