| It's finally out! The hype is indescribable! Opening reminds me a lot of the old one, it will take some time to adapt to the new voice actor for Monokuma, and the soundtracks bring me nostalgy! I just hope this and Zetsubou-hen get more than 12/13 episodes and don't follow the example of the anime adaption for the first game. Yukizome may have died, but she is still suspicous (she better not end up being the mastermind). It was pleasent seeing Naegi and Kirigiri and the others (right, where is Togami Byakuya?? And Fukawa) and especially the cast of the Super Danganronpa 2 as the Ultimate Despairs. I thought I'll have to wait until the end of the Zetsubou-hen for that (which I can't wait for, seriously). Let the best summer begin! |

Nope, I'm pretty sure I heard on more than one place that this will not have trials...This is their headquarters after all, Monokuma did not taked the place until now, so he could not construct a trial ground and execution machines...The only trials that could happen are ones hold by the participants themselves and without any executions and stuff... |

But because they still wanted to finish this story, they are just making an anime for it. There won't. If the wikia's quotes are right, the creator of the franchise, who's in charge of this anime, wanted to close the hope's peak academy arc for good with this. That's why he went for a series, because another game with the same characters would "not make sense" considering some of them have already gone through this. He went for the more straight "kill or be killed" this time around, instead of having trials. The new game is a new arc, with new characters and what-not. This is just closing what DR1 and 2 started. Well we have the whole DanganRonpaZero thing going on/ Neo World Programm with Matsuda/ Junko hosting the first killing game with Izuru/ the whole mass suicide/ Nanami Mystery regarding her AI version and her role in the story(most likely the key how Junko broke Izuru) & the whole: The worst most despair-inducing incident in the history of mankind. Yeah 12 episodes dunno^^. The first episode will be all lovely dovely hope time. After that the despair train goes 100% CHU CHU CHU. I doubt Kodaka will fuck this one up. But remember a Anime can tell a story much much faster and the Anime is basiclly for the core fans of the series so they expect us to know all the DanganLore so far. |

My hype level was off the charts for this! Not only do we get matured versions of the original DR surviving cast back, we also get the Remnants of Despair from SDR 2! Look at my boy Gundam! LOOK AT HIM! He's the Dark Overlord he was always meant to be! :') I also loved seeing Ibuki, Mikan and Mahiru. So here we are again with another Killing Game with Monokuma at the helm. Really didn't expect anyone to die yet, let alone the gentle Chisa Yukizome, but I suppose that was foolish of me. This is Danganronpa and its a lot more disturbing without the pink blood and cartoon sound effects of the game. This is by far my most anticipated anime of the season as it will be wrapping up one of my favourite game series. 5/5 so far for personal enjoyment. Now as the closing chapter, who of out new cast of characters, and of our old, will die at the hands of Monokuma one last time. I think its safe to say this new Monokuma is controlled by Monaca. She was hellbent on becoming the next Junko and was still alive at the end of Another Episode. |
