| I'm biased for slice of life anime, usually with drama. Also any epic action ones, good story lines above all (ex. Gungrave) I'm quite biased against Mecha as far as choosing what to watch, but strangely enough, every mecha I've seen I've enjoyed if mecha isn't the entire focus. (ex. Vandread) |
| I am biased towards any show that has romance and comedy in it. (Fortunately for me a lot of the genre have those elements within them.) I am biased against most mech anime, war based, and horror/psychological horror. There are exceptions to the rule but I follow my biased against more than my biased towards. |

| Really I only go for series that are shounen, action, adventure, fantasy, sci-fi, mecha, drama, mystery, or some comedy. The only times I'll watch something romance, shoujo, or anything else related is if it ties in with the above genres. Basically, I only like shows that involve action. |

| Well they may not be a genre, but I like any story that is psychological, or a story with time travel.. And I don't think I am against any kind of anime, maybe anime directed toward kids..whatever.. |

| I've never been a shoujo fan. Just don't like it. ...But then I figured out it wasn't a shoujo issue, it was an issue with that fluffy/real-lifey kind. I actually really love that violent, epic, fantastical kind of shoujo. (like X, Angel Sanctuary, etc.) Also, I just don't watch sports anime. I don't watch real people play sports, so why watch a sports cartoon? As for what I'm biased towards, sci-fi, I guess, just like with all forms of media. And if I hear there's mindfucks in a series, I'm there. |

| I typically am against loli-ish shows since I kind of prefer more mature styled animation and art designs, if that makes sense. I also have yet to really find a worthwhile shoujo and slice of life show that really stood out. I also do shrug away stuff that gets labeled as shounen's, unless the series is on the shorter side of things ... for a shounen. I'd say ~50 episodes and under. I just don't have the effort to keep up with such long shows I guess. So, maybe I'm a bit biased towards darker, more mature titles. I also have no problem admitting the fact that I'm a huge sci-fi fan, whether it's space adventure like, or cyberpunk, I really enjoy this stuff. Recently it seems like space drama's are becoming one of my top favorite genres, though they're a bit hard to come by. Also can't ever go wrong with good action/comedies. I like some mecha too, though strangely enough I've never really had interest in the Gundam stuff out there. |

| I'm subjective towards Mecha, Sci-fi opera, fantasy, and historical fiction. Currently I try to stay away from the mahou shoujo and harem anime. Ive seen some in the past, but I don't really have an affinity for the genres anymore. |

I can watch anything as long as it's not like Azumanga Daioh And I really like drama, especially in combination with romance. |

| I am not really biased against any type of anime, but I am slightly turned away by shows with a very slow developing plot or unresolved conflict. | for: slice of life, romance, comedy, drama against: horror, most psychological, anything with lots of blood or pointless melodrama though honestly if the story is well told and it doesn't have excessive blood or protracted conversations about the meaning of life in it then i'll probably like it. |
| I'm definitely biased in favor of hentai/ecchi anime and anything with lots of fanservice. I suppose I'm against slice of life to an extent, but if it fits into the above then it's fine. |

| Anything with stupid crazy humor like FLCL, Futakoi Alternative, Excel Saga, etc is a huge no watch for me. Also boring slice-of-life, horror/heavy violence, and (sometimes) heavy historic anime can be a no watch. I generally like shows with a plot, and I really like magical girl series overall (there are exceptions). |
| I'm completely biased for psychological anime. If it's something that can screw around with my mind a bit, I'll love it. Same for anything that can successfully pull off horror. As for what I'm biased against, ecchi and hentai. Period. I just can't stand it. I also used to be biased against mecha, but not so much any longer. |

| hmn.. i really dont like......... mecha ( still i watched fmp and tengen toppa gurren lagann and will watch code geass.. still i guess i dislike it ^^ ) hmn.. then sports... ( i really like sports but in anime? no way ) and .. romance is .. a no-go too ;< but still some romance like in Kenshin.. Busou Renkin etc.. is absolutely needed : ) and thats the only romance i like... so the romance should just be a side story.. as for me .. only-romance animes are way too boring.. -.- i really love.... samurai.. action..fantasy..adventure etc etc |

| I like everything except those so called comedies which have no plot. Like a still story and then maybe the last to episodes have some lame twists in it. I'm talking about series like Azumanga Daioh and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, I mean they are funny as hell but it gets annoying after some while. |

| I'm against magical girl types kinda. The girls who have a weird wand or something and transform type stuff. After Sailor Moon, nothing looks the same. :( Also for SOME mecha if it's not all about mecha wars in every episode. I try to tolerate it for the story. |

| Yeah, I used to avoid mecha until I watched Bokurano and Code Geass. That doesn't mean I love other mecha/want to watch them though. I just don't hate them as much. ^_^ |
