| The middle section of this batch was rough to go through. I'd say, it was the first time I found myself bored from watching JoJo. 6/10 |

| I liked that the comic that Jolene read was drawn in the same way as the comic that one of the Stardust Crusaders heroes read. Our heroes have left prison, a change of scenery at last! |
| Stone Ocean Part 1: 8/10 Part 2: 7/10. I was disappointed by how long it takes to get further with the story. The Dragon fight annoyed me so much, it felt like a cheap imitation of the best battles of Jojo. But Episode 9 and 10 were great, F.F. is a great character and I loved her in those two episodes. I'm not a fan of the Jailhouse Rock fight, but the ending was good enough. I hope that the pace is going to change now that they are away from the prison. |

| I liked this arc more, it revealed a lot of the villain and I liked the enemies more, although the stands are increasingly complicated to understand, they are full of rules and details that become confusing for a while. Even though the setting was a prison, they managed to create several different environments, the swamp was a visual treat. Curious to see how it ends, despite the repeated plot, after all it will be the same villain for the 3rd time in the series |

| Oh wow so Miu Miu is the lead prison guard meant to keep stand-user criminals at bay, no wonder why Emporio thought that the jail seemed to have the ability to keep prisoners locked in. I mean how can anyone escape if they're under Miu Miu's Jail house lock stand effects. Add the fact that she could command the prison guards and the chance of escaping becomes null. This whole past 2 episodes have been one of the most difficult challenge Jolyne must face. Miu Miu's stand ability is really troublesome, but thanks to Jolyne's experience her logical problem-solving and creative ways to use her surroundings and think ahead, she managed to beat Miu Miu at last. But honestly... HAD MIU MIU JUST OVSERVE JOLYNE FROM A DISTANCE AND NOT TRIED TO PEEK HER WAYS OCCASIONALLY, SHE WOULD'VE ENSURED THAT JOLYNE IS ETERNALLY LOCKED IN PRISON FOR GOOD Ultimately the Jail house lock stand ability proved to be so immensely effective, it even messes with the affected victims' perception, the point of failure is not the ability, it's the user's own lack of discretion. Miu Miu lost because she was not being extra careful whens she should be especially when facing someone like Jolyne. Now I'm eager to see the next part with Pucci's goal of attaining heaven in the Cape Canaveral Space Port! |

| No that was fucking stupid. I felt like I was under Jailhouse Lock attack or something, lost count of plot holes in this one. Araki really dug a hole for himself. If you think about it there's no way out of this situation if you have only 3 things to concentrate on. It's just unwinnable, so Araki had to cheat in his usual nonchalant attitude to plot consistency. Sometimes it really gets to me, like I'm being looked down upon, like author doesn't respect reader's intelligence. |
| Regarding Stone Ocean Part 2 in its entirety I'd say it's a bit weaker that Part 1 that was really a breath of fresh air for the franchise IMO. Production values were also a mixed bag. On one hand there were more memorable sequences and more sakuga power, on the other, low points were the lowest with annoying stills, off-model drawings and bad CGI. Plot was also a bit meandering, less dynamic, felt more like usual pipeline from one fight to another, although this time around Araki had legitimate plot points to cover. Fights were a mixed bag too. I really enjoyed Planet Waves, climactic Jolyne vs Pucci fight, Limp Bizkit was also fine and F.F. vs Whitesnake fight was kind of poetic so I can forgive its logical inconsistencies and an asspull with boiling water stand. Green baby and Yo Yo Ma were mid although the latter was kinda unique. Jailhouse Lock is a great concept and its first episode was one of the strongest but the fight's conclusion leaves much to be desired. Dragon grandpa fight was mostly annoying but Jolyne/F.F. dynamics brought some redeeming qualities to it. While typing this I caught myself on a thought that I never felt compelled to lay down my impressions of a JoJo part before even if I liked Part 5 quite a lot and enjoyed all of them to some extent. While there's a lot to criticize in Stone Ocean it really has something special in it. Feels like evolution of the series albeit a flawed one. Probably a result of a busy weekly schedule. Hope last SO season won't disappoint! |

| Not completely satisfied with the conclusion of Batch 2 honestly. I understand how she went from 1s and 0s to a baseband signal but how did her brain proceed from there? I suppose Araki must have probably handwaved it away since any more is probably too complex for Jojo(the irony). Still like Jailhouse Lock as a stand though. Also, don't understand how the guards lost their memory. That one's bugging me as well. Overall I found Batch 2 weaker than Batch 1 but it did get me hyped for the Jailbreak since it was getting a bit tiring staying there. Btw, may I point out Miu Miu was technically doing her job? I know Jolyne's innocent but that's not legally true. |
