so this chapter pretty much confirmed some stuff people have been guessing one thing though if eren is now in a remote place, seems like we will have to wait a long time before we get any answers about annie and oh my god that last page.... jean and sasha are the next to die.... |

As for the SL leaders, I don't see them being inadequate. Erwin asks the right questions, if you ask me :) If the TL about the Mock Emergency Week is valid, that would mean Erwin slept for a whole week. Going backwards, Levi's injury would probably amount to additional 5 days. Two weeks might be a decent period of time for healing a sprain. I remember wearing a cast for a month after I broke a toe in 3-rd grade, i can't say anything more than that, lol. ough, is dat another idiot? I've been wondering for a while now, but how do they get the horses on top of the walls?!? There has to be a significance behind Erwin's creepy smile... The titans they're facing now are from Connie's village? Interesting indeed... New Levi Squad is formed...so it's Eren, Mikasa, Jean, Armin, Sasha, Connie and Historia.... |

Now that they "confirmed" this logical theory, titans are humans, we are getting closer to finding out who is behind of it (99% chance that ape titan is the one). But,let's put it aside for a while, since someone we don't know yet must be the real boss there, and think, what went wrong during conie's mom transformation? There is a high chance that it has something to do with when this transformation is being performed.. as it was at night, and most people were successfully transformed, what were most of them doing at that time? Yeah, sleeping, expect for connie's mom, who was probably worried about connie, since she is his mom. Which means, in order for this transformation to take place, one must be sleeping, and if one is awake, something will go wrong. But, why? Another suposition: If one is sleeping, and is transformed, then this person will be trapped in his / her dream, or will keep thinking of nothing during a long while (not forever, as ymir was in this state at some point in her life and got control over it), and while in this state, will live to do two things: Follow their commander's rules and as an automatically action, will eat anyone around. If someone happens to be transformed while awake, then this person will have total control over the titan body right after the transformation (connie's mom said "welcome home" right before she died, if she was in her sleep state, then the titan would try to eat him instead as an automatically action), and then their boss realized it and stopped her transformation before she turned against them. But, why did the titans attack at night? Well, it proves that titans do not depend on sun light to move around, they depend on something else, but lets not discuss about it now, let's focus on how those were able to do so and the majority in the series so far were not. Well, the only difference among them is that connie's villagers had just been transformed, so I think this transformation has impact on other titans as well, causing some kind of "interference" that makes it harder for them to move and obey their boss, since he is busy transforming new soldiers, and getting them to obey him is not something easy to do, so he must put the others aside for a while (not completely, the only difference is that the orders's chance of failing will drop by about 50-80%), so that he can dedicate exclusively to the new soldiers. Ah, they were able to move around at night because there were not transformations being performed, as we can see their likely boss leading them to the utgard castle. And if it's correct, then their boss must be busy every night transforming people, so there is a high chance that there are other humans somewhere else. (or perhaps, not likely though, that the boss was only busy when hanji found out about it.) What are your thoughts? |

Is Connie's mother really dead? If yes, why did she die? Titans are almost immortal, they can be killed only slicing their neck. Some unknown desease? Did she die because she was just half transformed? If she wasn't a complete titan, could it be possible that her real, human body still rests in the titan's neck? |

I don't think it have anything to do with that, I think its more like some people have more resistance or stronger will to break free and regain their consciousness. like what commander pixis said "The difference between a titan shifter and other titan is that they don't fully assimilate with the flesh". Bertxannie said: why did the titans attack at night? Well, it proves that titans do not depend on sun light to move around, they depend on something else I remember Rainer telling Ymir "these titans can't move at night, you should know that already" when she asked about the titans under the tree, so its safe to say that their is two types of titans at least... one that can move only in sunlight and other that can be active at night (remember sonny and bean?) Ape titan was testing humanity power (Ymir mentioned that when she talked to Rainer). For the "other things" I actually lost you lol. |

Yeah,I agree with you that the strongest will break free from it sooner than others, and get control over their titan bodies, but (in my opinion) those who are transformed while awake, will instantly get control over it.. Ymir said she wandered outside the walls in her "sleep state" for a lot of years, but connie's mom could speak after one day at most after the transformation, therefore she had some control over it already.. (again, it's my opinion, isayana must have thought of something totally different, something that most mortals would not be able to figure out on their own xD) In regards to your next post, yeah, it must be something much more complex than I thought :/ |

I think she was moving her eyes, as if she was following Connie when he was in her sight range. Apparently, she has lost her ability to speak, but she hasn't moved an inch since her transformation - that is, her transformation had failed at some point in comparison to the other villagers, but aside the reason for this, it's unlikely to be dead because of the failure. The failure keeps her in the cradle of her house, instead. |

They have elevators like these - the panel is from chapter three, btw: http://www.mangahere.com/manga/shingeki_no_kyojin/c003/24.html In the anime the elevators look a bit different. They use them because they can go down the walls w/o opening the Gates. They can go down the Walls at various points of the walls' length. During the Trost Arc they used the elevators to bait titans away of the Gates. |

For those who chose "loved it" at the top of the page, what thing / things made you love this chapter? I chose "liked it" because nothing unexpected happened in it, things were so calm.. But it's still a good one, since we got to see the new levi squad, as well as erwin's creepy smile xD Unfortunately for all of us, it is already over, and the next one will only be out in december T_T. I wonder why isayana takes this long to write a chapter,45 pages in 20 days, about 2,2 pages in 10 hours of work (I disconsidered 10 days, and I am assuming he dedicates 10 hours a day to the manga) after all, his art is not that perfect and he seems to know where he is taking the story. (he even said he intends to finish it in volume 20)... |

Please Isayama, don't kill them ))): Not now at least. It can be kinda obvious that the titans somehow were humans before, but they couldn't prove or think about it with no informations. The art style changes all the time, geez. I think it's improving, but some parts or characters...Poor Mikasa. I feel the only that almost never change is Eren. Ok, one question, why some people are saying MikasaxLevi? Don't get it at all. It's the title for the next chapter according to some people in this post, I am not 100% about it though. No the mikasa x levi thing iss something about a cd. Not about the next chapter. cd? |

Or does it mean things are going to go horribly wrong while they're away and everyone is going to meet their inevitable doom? D: I loved this chapter because the characters were looking a little one dimensional even with their 3DMG (lol). Action, action, action gets old sometimes. I liked that he showed them all talking and joking around with each other. I vote that this becomes a slice of life manga from here on out. |

(he even said he intends to finish it in volume 20)... Well I loved it because the interactions between the 104th trainees are always entertaining, and it's great to see them being fleshed out. We get to enjoy their banter while being reassured that they'll remain relevant to the story, i.e. no one is going to be marginalized. I know that the monthly releases make this chapter seem somewhat slow and unnecessary (I want to see Reiner, Annie, Bert and Ymir again!), but that can't be avoided. Things can't always be tense and melodramatic, or else the story would be overwrought. Plus Levi, Erwin, and Hanji potentially having to come to terms with the revelation that what they've been slaughtering are humans is one of the most intriguing prospects that this manga has alluded to. And yes, creepy face Erwin is badass. As for the releases, I'm pretty damn sure that if Isayama really decided to be a workhorse, biweekly releases would be a cinch for him since he's already plotted out the story. Unfortunately that doesn't matter since the magazine that his manga is released in is monthly, so the only way that we get quicker releases is if SnK is printed in a different magazine. Edit: A time skip? That'd just seem weird. I can't imagine Eren sitting on his ass for that long after he's already had the taste of killing Titans. |

Jean: SASHA!! WHY IS THERE A DEAD DEER IN THE DINING ROOM?! Sasha: Ehehe... it wasn't me... Jean: THEN WHY ARE THERE ARROWS IN IT? Sasha: ... probably Armin: What's that behind your back? Sasha: ...definitely not a bow... probably Eren: OMG you better clean that up before Levi-heichou ge-- All: SHUT-UP, EREN! YOU'RE WORSE THAN MY MOM! Mikasa: *does 10,000 crunches in the background* Christa: *serves everyone tea* All: Marry me. And yeah, I don't see a time skip happening. I feel like too much has happened for it to just suddenly calm down. Plus, the interior walls are probably freaking out like crazy rn. |

Yeah, i looked up another translation, one says they will stay quit until their adults, the other says they will stay quit until all this has calmed down. The second one was from cruchyroll so i trust that one. Maybe there wont be a timeskip |

Damn. All of the remaining 104th squad members became Levi's unit! Oh yes. Also, looks like Erwin has been hit hard knowing that the titans are former humans. I can't wait to see when they confront the Wall Cult and ChristaHistoria's knowledge. |

OK, the story is great, the characters are great, blah blah blah. But let's talk about how shitty this art is. Jesus Christ it was terrible this chapter, it's like the guy just stopped trying. Maybe he should hire an artist to do this shit for him because he can't draw a character the same way twice. |
