| OK that was clever and funny. I actually laughed until I had tears in my eyes. These bits fluctuate way too much in quality. When it hits, it's really fun, when it doesn't, we get the YouTuber episode. |
| The first part was hysterical. That director is putting everything in to that hero show. Kan’s commentary was the best. I didn’t even put his name together as a foot stool until Kan said something. Then it was like oh yeah. lol 😂 The animation in the 2nd part was so funny with Kan moving at 10x speed. Him slowing down his talk so he can talk to them again was sweet. The end when the spell wears off. 😂😂😂 I’m so happy I started watching this show. |
| Kanshi, out of money and trying to bribe Moi for him to loan him some for his living expenses, is a couch potato super NEET, and Moi sending him to do some part-time work, he needs to be learnt that reality. The lowly Tengu's day job acting as the hero rather than the villain, this Otto-man better work, though it's the story of a married man not talking to his wife, but other women interested in him who're monsters in diaguise, Kanshi needs only take care of the minions instead. The "realistic" couple setting, to Kanshi being the actual ottoman for the psuedo wife, it's funny as heck, though to the father of Hironaka whose son was expecting him to play Otto-man's role, Kanshi swapped roles with him to create the "hyper-realistic" effect, that while earned the praises of the audience, he gets nothing in return for failing to do his job. The lowly Tengu's side job of packing screws meticulously, and it's so slow that he needs Nico's help for magic amplification at 10 times speed. And this Kwik Kwik magic being 3 days long with severe repercussions...doesn't help a lot in the grand scheme of things. Everything sped up times 10 is just pure torture for both Nico and Moi seeing him pass like the wind, so having Keigo help them out, though he mastered the Slow Lanagauge enough to have a decent day of a slow life, until the speed lag got to him. Yelp, I feel bad for Kanshi having to work, but cheapened out by taking shortcuts. Kind of serves him right... |

| Kanshi commenting out loud the stage plot going on was hilarious, including the sudden interested switch about the woman coworker flirting with main character... "yeah, screw the bad guys". Still, he turned out to be right at the end, that director really seemed a... sketchy person. Yeah, completely expected this spell to go horribly wrong. |

| How the heck did Otto-man's coworker's actor transform into a giant monster?! This is a stage show, not a cartoon! The story forgets this happened immediately afterward! They give plot importance to the human(s) inside the monster costume, yet the question of how the switcheroo works never comes up. And on the day of the show, we jump in at the beginning of the fight sequence-- a.k.a. just after Metaboli's metamorphosis! And when I said "immediately afterward, I meant, thirty seconds after the fabric of reality changed, Kanshi gets chewed out by the director for, essentially, failing to keep the physics of the monster costume in mind when fighting... Am I the only one bothered by this?! |
| This honestly felt like a side story OVA type episode focused on Kanshi's day working a part time job as a kids hero because he couldn't make rent. There were some stuff about the Otto-man show that definitely was not made for kids lmao, at least Kanshi learned how to be a good stool for Moi after he lost his pay and got his punishment. |
| Otto-man Kanshi was quite mid, but the second half where he gets sped up was surprisingly wholesome to watch. Especially with Kanshi learning to adapt to being 10x faster to try to talk and eat dinner with the gang. The drawbacks of being extremely fast were so realistic. |
| They are wilding with that Otto-man plot LMAO, but poor Kanshi had it rough for himself this entire episode all because he didn't want to find a proper part-time job so he could pay his portion for the living expenses. |

| The plot of that superhero... play almost killed me. That was freaking funny, haha. I knew they were going to do something like that, but between Kanshi (the star of this anime imo) shouting commentary from the side, and the ridiculous way the bad guys appeared, I couldn't stop laughing. Yeah, this anime is pretty funny. Ridiculous sequence of events but great humor... "you can't let children see this!" ...🤣 The second half was even funnier. You know, that would really suck too, when you think about it - with everyone else moving so slowly, it WOULD be like a horror movie. |

| Ah. A Kanshi focused episode. And it was pretty good! Loved it. First part was pretty funny. Kanshi has money problems. And what better way to make money for a superpowered individual than to play a superhero? Pretty humble of Kan to concede his role as a hero to the injured dad. He really is a good guy. If only he was more responsible with money lol. The 2nd part was almost like a horror movie. Yeah, superspeed sounds great but it can also be horrific. When you don't have control over it that is. It reminded me of that black hole episode with Bill from Doctor Who. That shit was scary. Anyway, this was another funny episode. Liking this series. |
