| Dead Leaves was painful to watch. Blood Lad was just nonsense. And Shaman King '03 was a mistake to watch because I have no nostalgia tied to that show. It was grueling getting through over 60 episodes of it. |

| I saw a lot of entries on this thread. To each their own definition, but I define the worst as something that has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Many entries are things that are bland, or badly written, or with poor animation. Even most trash sits at a 4 for me. However, I have rated one anime at a 1/10 ever. Evil or Live Very mild spoilers below. This show has *nothing* redeeming in it whatsoever. It's a dystopia about kids with smartphone addictions sent to a reeducation camp. And it tries to take itself seriously. The MC is so damn unlikeable. The main girl is the definition of an character existing for exploitation The head warden dude has... mommy issues This show is meant to be serious, by the way. The music is atrocious. The animation is awful. The story is terrible. And I can think of nothing in it warranting any praise. |

| I'd say the worst I've seen aside from some bad ovas has to be promised neverland s2. Pupa then comes close, godawful show man. But the one i dislike the most and is almost as bad as the previous 2 i mentioned is oreimo 2 specials (the finale). Total frustration watching this ending and anyone who likes this i respect your opinion but is a wrong one haha. |

| Ufff... I have kind of bad memories for "bad animes/shows", I do have some burned on my mind cool anime that had an awful ending, but bad anime is another take. I will refer to the most recent then: Gundam Mercury witch: I was fooled by the first episode and got excited. The rest of the series is one of the most stupid takes on corporate drama and the also mix it with below average high school drama. I didnt like any other mobuil suit besides aerial... I forced my self to watch it thinking that "it might get better!" but that part never came and I just stopped watching it. It is terrible specially if you compare it to other likes Wing, Seed or 00. |

| First season of Attack on Titan geezus christ. All they did was yell and scream constantly, and the violence felt like it was trying so hard to be edgy..pffft. I'm glad I quit watching it back then. The Eminence in Shadow was pure garbage that felt like it was made by little boys There are others that for some reason are popular, like Neon Genesis Evangelion. I couldn't get through the 2nd episode. Just thought it was dumb, annoying, as well as surprisingly ugly. I still don't understand why it's so popular. |

Neon Genesis Evangelion, apart from the iconic OP, is mostly popular, talked about, and remembered for what happened in the second half of the series; especially in the last quarter or so. Don't get me wrong - I'm at odds with those who sing its praises and count it among my least favorite series of all those I've completed as I have my own gripes with it which really rub me the wrong way. But the whole following around the series revolves more around discussions of its themes which are only more openly touched on later. |
