| This was fascinating. A beautiful and unique art style. A varied yet powerful score. A story sourced from Japanese culture that I'm entirely unfamiliar with. And solid writing to boot. I felt like I was watching the start of s movie. Consider me hooked. |

| I like this animation style much more that previous Saru works (who was on a decline in animation department since last two works devilman crybaby and japan sinks with lots of off models). Story on the other hand I am not sure where it will go (core historic types are not my favorite thing). Lot of anime-ish moments though to keep it relaxing. A good first episode for now. |

| Poor Biwa getting her father killed like that in front of her eyes, anyway it's an interesting setup right now, I'm especially interested in their eyes' power we'll see how they will really use them, artistic direction looks neat also. |

| Looks quite artistic so far and already made me feel some sad emotion when Biwa's father was unfairly executed. Looking forward to what direction this is going especially with Biwa and Shigemori's special eye ability. |

| Well this is a pretty much perfect first episode, very glad to see designs by Fumiko Takano animated (I hope she gets more recognition as a legendary mangaka she is). Good for me I familiarized myself with Genji Monogatari beforehand so I hope I'll have a bit more context to work with. |
| Animation and style is beautiful and cute at the same time. Atmosphere has been set and enjoying it. It's a period piece with a physic twist where there are those who can see the past or future. Kinda a scary power |

| Bit of a disappointing start, honestly. The animation is okay and the plot so far is interesting enough, but it felt a little rushed and some of the music was wildly out of place. I'm hoping it gets better from here, I'm optimistic about the setting. |
