Why have the dates when this series aired been changed from the autumn of 2021 to the winter of 2022?
| I just noticed this for the first time today, but have no idea when it was first rewritten. This series aired in the autumn season of 2021, from mid-September to late November of 2021, ending just a little less than a year ago. Yet now the airdates on the series' main archival webpage in the MAL database says that it aired from January to March of this year, 2022. Is it referring to a different, later broadcast schedule? And does it really makes sense to change it like this even if the series re-aired on an alternate Japanese network or service? |

MAL prefer to use the regular boardcast date I think. As for the main question, I have no idea why they changed it but I know it was super recent. I checked the Winter 2022 shows just 3 weeks ago to start working on my 'best of the year' lists and didn't see it there, but now I go back to double check some stuff and now it's been moved here. Makes no sense for them to change it so late afterwards, normally if they have a date be early cause of an early online release they fix it as soon as the normal broadcast begins and it can no longer intefear with anyone who wants to include it. But this was just changed now, have no idea why. |
