| Best episode so far. Finally we got some balance between his revenge and what he actually had to suffer. Ep 1 was skewed towards revenge and didn't give him justice at all. Ep 2 was balanced but didn't even things out. God bless Ep 3. People say there isn't much crying about this one yet and yeah, it's true, I've seen more people whining about Mushoku Tensei for inexistent problematic stuff (the only real problematic stuff was at the start of ep 1 and anime fixed it by changing the content of the screen, and that part of mc is gone forever, but w/e). | Yeah, I stand by what I said that this anime's story is being presented in the wrong order. This episode's flashback sequence was probably meant to convey "look how bad these people were, don't you feel bad for MC?" but frankly, sitting through a 10 minute long graphic rape scene at his hands in the episode before we saw any of this just makes me feel the exact opposite. Especially when this flashback was so bizarrely comical and fetishized. Like, the dick stomping scene? Blade's "if I lick his tongue, it's like licking Flare!" nonsense and then... whatever that homophobic mess of a straight man's fear about what gay men are like was afterwards. None of it was harrowing. A lot of it genuinely made me laugh or was clearly supposed to be titillating for any straight men watching. I also stand by what I said that this show could potentially have been, at the very least, watchable. Or even something that, with a twist reveal or some competent story evaluation, could have been good. This is just a train wreck I can't stop looking at at this point. |
| Watching the retrospection of Blade and Bullet was painful. The Flare part however.... *lennyface* I love her so much, and her VA does such a great job I'll keep talking about it in every episode discussion XD I can't get over how awesome her design is + I love the sadistic personality (although her current personality is good too, but in a different way) + her voice is unique and the VA is really talented. Also I'm repeating myself from previous threads: the ending is a 10/10 well the whole show so far is a 10/10 from me LOL and i'm being serious it's... intense and has quite a few aspects I like in anime |

| Holy f***, that ep was a roller coaster. I guess the MC had it even worse than we thought. Who wouldn't just commit suicide in that scenario, I thought he went through hell but it's worse than that. I'm ngl, the licking scene was hot, but damn I felt that when she crushed his balls. Ew. New girl seems nice, a little too furry for my taste, but bearable. Watching Anime slowly became a chore for me, but apparently I just needed something spicy. |

| A Vengeful MC who has been wronged by some kingdom people buys a demihuman slave girl to be raised as combat slave.....is this inspired by Shield Hero or perhaps the other way around or something? I had mixed feeling about Keyaru but now I'm starting to like him since so far he never hurt Freiya even though her true self is his most despised person in the world, he also warned Freiya not to drink that contaminated water, which is nice. It's good outside of his revenge, he is basically a good normal person, hopefully this wont change until the end. Bullet and Blade can go to Keyaru's hell |

| Watched the 3 eps, liked it for what it is.. a crude and brutal revenge story. Hope it gets gory also, not only sexual. MC really traumatized, so much didn't find it relatable, but seeing a MC without any hesitation or remorse doing his shit and also empathizing with another revenge-seeking person is nice. The only over the top thing imo was how Heal magic can be so powerful.. not only it heals ANY injure, but steals abilities, erases memories, shapeshifts people.. wtf is that heal bro |

| How silly it was for me to think that they wouldn't show how bad he was treated, of course, they will. And yet again it's almost impossible to not be on Keyaru's side, but it still feels weird to see the "good" Flare, right after watching the "bad" Flare that tortured him and...well, much more. Also, those 2 other guys, are clearly sick of their heads, i mean in this anime everyone is sick from their head, Keyaru is safe, he's on a revenge quest. So he bought that slave, but his promises to her, oh boy! That was definitely the best proposal that he could have ever done, as he said, "she's just like me". Damn, i am loving this anime so much, can't wait for the next episode! |

So the sister is a big problem. So the new slave is the one from the op. She had some good moves in the op. Just like him eh. I think this could've been good in one very specific circumstance and that's it not being what people expect from a revenge story, sort of like Vinland Saga. If this show had had us see this guy gradually lose his mind, do all this unspeakable shit (and actually portrayed all of these things properly in the right order) but then had the story end up being about how he's become worse than the people he hated so much then it could've been a good show. This is perhaps partly inspired by the recent hints that Berserk is going for a similar tone in its latest chapters. |
